(I meant np but it’s funny af so I’m keeping it hskdhsjd)
Name: Abraham Murphy
Age/year: 15, 5th year
House: Gryffindor
Sexuality: To Be Determined….
Appearance: Brown hair which, while usually neat, tends to get a bit ruffled by the end of the day. Has eyes that can seem green on some days and blue on others. Attire is completely unpredictable on any day, but he does wear a necklace with a key on it, said to be matching with someone with an identical lock. Average height, standing at 5'6.
Personality: Abraham is a sweet guy, always willing to be social, but not too fond of social events. Although he's energetic and bubbly, it seems there's a wall separating him from the rest of the world, as if something's not quite right with him. Maybe even missing. He greatly enjoys flying, though not so much the sport of Quidditch. He's always willing to be a shoulder to cry on or a little extra support to his friends, and he's always willing to stand up for his friends by mean of words and quick wit. He heavily enjoys trapping people in corners with his sarcastic attitude. He loves to make jokes to downplay any tension there may be in a room. He's not the best student, but he is incredibly smart, and loves experimenting with new things. He's a prefect of Gryffindor. Though he can quite unsuspecting a lot of the time, he is definitely observant, and he knows a lot more than he lets on. He is very passionate about all of his interests, and he heavily enjoys singing (Though, not many people in the building enjoy that hobby). His patronus is a robin. He is a half-blood, though his witch mother left him shortly after giving birth to him. It came as a shock to him when he got a letter to go to a wizarding school.
(Oooh he sounds fun! Can I get a writing sample, please?)

ALSO WRITING SAMPLE!!!
It was a dark evening, the only source of light illuminating from the street lights through the heavy mist. All was silent; not a single car drove past, not a bird chirped, not a person passed by in the streets. Except for one, a young girl who silently trod her way through the darkness, breathing in the heavy air. She didn't look all that old, maybe fifteen at a maximum. She dragged her feet along the floor, seemingly exhausted. It wouldn't take you that long to discover what, as there were long, deep cuts along her face and arms. You could only wonder, what had done this to her?
The girl had thick, long, wavy hair that went about halfway down her back. She had a round face, laden with scars. She had bright blue eyes, framed with round glasses, and she wore a dark blue suit, complete with a cloak. She dragged herself along the pavement, each step seemingly bringing her more pain, until she finally stopped rather abruptly, and collapsed to her knees. She trembled violently as she stared down at her hands.
"What have I done?" She whispered, feeling the tears begin to roll down her cheeks again, blurring her vision. She couldn't go back now. Not ever again, if she wanted to stay alive. Even if she desired to return, she could never. The shame of reappearing in the town she had lived in for so long, after committing the heinous crime she had just done, would be unbearable. The question rang through her mind, somewhat reminiscent to a bell. 'What now?' She wasn't safe anymore. There could be someone after her head just at that moment. Maybe-
Even her thoughts were cut off as a low rumbling could be heard from a distance, becoming progressively louder. The girl sprang to her feet, and without another thought, raced away into the darkness.
Nobody ever knows what became of her that night, or what it was that was chasing her, but we all hope she turned out okay, and escaped from whatever monster she may have been trying to escape, even if it was only herself.

Macie hummed to herself as she waited for the moving staircase to stop where she needed to go. Several other students were exiting their own dorms and onto the magic stairwell, wanted to be bright and early for breakfast in the great hall. The girl grinned as the people in the paintings yawned and stretched, and a few who complained about how early it was. She moved her brown hair out of the way of her ear, and descended the stairs to ground level. She sported a new earring today; it looked like two roses, one at her ear lobe and the other pinched way up high. It wasn't a piercing, but others tended to think it was. Bright red with pearls decorating the centers, two chains–one long and one short–connected the top to the bottom. It definitely was her favorite earring.
She turned the corner and easily found the large double-doors that opened to the hall where a banquet of food waited for the students of Hogwarts. Only, the poor girl turned the corner just in time to slam into someone.
(my replies will probably get shorter as the rp goes on ^^)
(Great starter, misty! Also, for the slamming into someone thing, is it just a first come first served situation— whoever replies first gets to converse? Or did my brain die again )
(FIRST COME FIRST SERVE <3)
(I CALL IT MY POOR BABY WILL APOLOGIZE A BILLION TIMES OVER SCREECHES)
(lol)
Amethyst stumbled backwards after slamming into someone. The young first-year looked up at her. “Oh- I-I’m sorry…” she apologized, looking down and fidgeting. She seemed really nervous.
(My writing is so bad I’m used to talking to an ai, apologies friend)
(Also my replies are very short)
(no worries!)
Macie checked that her earring was still in place before flashing a smile.
"No damage done! Hey, you're a first year, aren't you?"
Amethyst nodded. “Y-yes, I am…” She adjusted her glasses, they had been knocked out of place during the collision. She looked very timid, and it seemed very hard for her to make eye contact.
Macie grinned again, glancing into the room beyond. "Weeeeell…. have you been sorted yet? It's probably my favorite part for first years. Second only to showing them their dorms. Hey! Who knows, maybe you'll get to bunk with me!" She frowned a moment, "Or maybe you'd do better in Hufflepuff… i don't know, I'm not the sorting hat." She laughed before swinging an arm over the young girl and stepping inside the hall.
(I forgot to say that Macie is very good about reading people 0-0)
(Wheezing bc poor antisocial Amethyst)
(Using my Magical Host Powers I will decide that she has not been sorted yet lol)
Amethyst tensed slightly as Macie swung her arm around her, feeling a bit uncomfortable. “I, uh… I haven’t been sorted yet,” she said timidly.
(whispers Hi is it too late to join?)
(Greetings, fellow nerd. It’s not too late lol, I’ll just need a character sheet and a writing sample)
(Kk, it'll just be a second :)
