(I’m fine with the hero being a guy and I don't mind if you want to take his role or if I do. Figuring out his name and power though…)
(Okay, cool! I was thinking you could take that role, if that's okay with you. I can kinda help with that.)
(Ok. I can definitely play the hero. If you want we can work out his character in dms)
(Alright, perfect!)
Sylvia sighed, "Something… important. I'll explain more later."
She left the room, expecting the girl to follow her. "So, you were just in the hostage's room," the young villainess chuckled softly. "Not really, that's just a spare room. Gosh, this place has a lot of spare rooms come to think of it."
She closed the door behind them and headed towards the other room. Their steps echoed on the marble floors and vine-laced walls in the hallway. Sylvia casually opened another door, "And this is the weapon room."
The room was not so big in itself, but what seemed what hundreds of different swords, blades, daggers, etc. beautifully decorated the walls; each one was neatly hung in their places.
Sylvia let out another sigh as she wistfully gazed at the weapons hanging on the wall, "This was one of Kendric's favorite rooms…" She let her eyes rest on the walls for another minute, then closed the door. "Anyway, let me show you one of my favorite rooms. The pOiSoN room." She said, quickly elevating her mood as she walked to the place.
Clarissa raised a brow at the dismissive answer but followed when Sylvia walked out of the room. Though she did do a double-take at the joke before rolling her eyes. “That wasn't very funny.” she muttered.
At the sight of the weapon room, she let out a whistle at all the different types of blades on the walls. Some small part of her had always respected the people who handled knives. The precision, the style, the grace… Her thoughts screeched to a halt as Sylvia closed the door. “Uh… Kendrick?” she asked, remembering that she had mentioned that name before too.
“Poison? I hope you have proper safety equipment in place for that.” she commented.
"Safety equipment? Ohhhh, this isn't where I make potions. This is where I store them." Sylvie said nonchalantly, "Besides, what are a few bottles going to do to you?"
She opened the door, then quickly closed it. "You know what, you're probably right. We should check the rooms as we train." Sylvie took a quick glance at the door, and grinned. "Wait, I'll be right back.
The villainess walked into the room, hardly opening the door and closed it behind her. After a few seconds, she reappeared holding a small glass bottle labeled "ARSENIC," lifted the cork and took a quick sip. "Alright, so I think we should start training outside, is that good?" Sylvie asked with an eager smile.

Once outside, Sylvie led the acquaintance-to-be into a large clearing in the forest. Beaming, she inhaled the fresh air around her. "So, what do you think? My second favorite place and also Kendric's favorite place, well it was her favorite place. But, either way…"
Her eyes started to glow their signature green; however, Sylvester lifted his head without warning and stuck out his tongue, checking the air. "You might want to start quickly, he's sssstarting to plan ssssomething against us." He hissed cautiously, words only Sylvia or other snakes could understand.
“I work in a lab.” Clarissa pointed out. “Even just storing bottles can be dangerous if you don't do it right.” she explained, not sure if she actually wanted to see where this woman made her poisons.
“Wait, train?” she questioned nervously. “What happened to just giving me a…” her words trailed off at the sight of the bottle and took a step back. “What the hell are you doing?!?!?!” she nearly shrieked as Sylvia actually DRANK the poison. Apparently forgetting all of Sylvia’s powers even as the villain dragged her outside.
__
“I think it's beautiful out here but I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that you drank freaking ARSENIC!” she admitted, clearly not amused by Sylvia’s antics. Even if she appeared fine right now, not taking notice of the snake around the villain’s neck.
Sylvia laughed, "You mean this?" She asked tauntingly, pulling out the small bottle and taking another drink.
Clearly annoyed, the golden snake on her neck hissed, "Ssstop it, SsSylvie. You're going to give the poor girl a heart attack."
"Relax, she'll be fine." Sylvie casually replied, again lifting the bottle to her lips. This time just to quench her thirst than to tease the woman in front of her.
"SsSylvie…"
"Fine," she turned to her new aquaintance, "I'm immune to both poisons and venom, so arsenic," Sylvie threw the bottle into the air, making it dissapear, "doesn't faze me." The villainess turned to her snake, "You happy?"
"Quite." Satisfied, Sylvester smelled the air again.
"By the way, I haven't introduced you to my snake. Topaz, this is Sylvester. Sylvester…" She lowered her voice, "Say hi."
"Why would I bother, she can't understand a word I say, or can she?"
"Just try."
Sylester sighed and smiled bashfully, "Hi."
"Now, would you like to try out some powers, Topaz?"
(Sorry I took forever to reply. (^-^ ''))
(It's ok.)
Clarissa sighed, rubbing her forehead in pure annoyance. “At least, if you die, I can go home and forget this whole thing.” she muttered before looking back up.
She raised a brow when she saw Sylvia speaking to her snake-shaped necklace and let out a huff. “You… You're immune. Ok. If I'm going to be stuck here with you, I'm going to ask you not to do that kind of stunt again.” she all but demanded, her eyes narrowed.
“Uhh…” she stammered for a moment and the unusual introduction. “Hi. Wait… Powers? Me?” she asked incredulously. “What can I do?”
Sylvia reached out her hand, a green flame came out of her palm. It slowly dissolved only to reveal a necklace, its only pendant was an opalescent stone carved to look like an arrowhead. "Here, put it on. I'll give you the powers as we go and don't worry, they won't be that strong… yet."
Clarissa just raised a brow at the sight of the jewelry but reluctantly accepted it. “And what powers would this give me?” she wondered, unwilling to admit that the new necklace was… kind of… pretty.
"Well, some of my powers. You know, controlling plants, levitating, immunity to poison and venom, oh, and you'll be able to understand snakes!" Sylvia spun the necklace around her finger, "So do you want to take it or not?"
“Well, considering I’m stuck here for now and don't want to die…” she rolled her eyes as she held out her hand. “Sure, I’ll take it. At least the levitation sounds cool.” she added with a mutter. Though she also thought that the poison immunity could be useful… and the plant powers didn't sound that bad either.
(saw you were back… Do you want to continue this?)
(yep! sorry I ghosted you. (0-0 ''))
(It's ok. It happens sometimes. Glad you're back though.)
(Thanks!)
(😊)
Sylvia grinned, "Well then. Would-" She drew her hand back slightly. "Is it okay if I put it on you? You know, it just- here, just… take it."
The young villainess impulsively shot her hand towards the other girl, inevitably letting a light shade of pink cover her cheeks and nose.
(Should we have hero's POV after Clarissa's POV? Or not yet? Btw, I can play any side characters.)
(I'm not sure…)
Clarissa was taken slightly off guard by Sylvia's offering to put the necklace on her and the sudden embarrassment that the villainess was showing after making the offer. “I can do it.” she said softly as she took the necklace and fastened it in place.
(K, whenever you're comfortable. 😅👍🏽)
Sylvia could only watch as the woman put on the necklace; the gemstone glistened as it made contact with her body, flashing many different colors. The colors penetrated her skin, visibly mixing with her blood, creating a glowing vein-like tattoo from her heart to her shoulder.
(thanks 😅)
Clarissa jumped a little at the flashing colors and the new mark that appeared on her skin. “You know… I really would like more information about what I‘m actually getting involved with before the next thing happens and gives me a heart attack.” she groaned, rubbing her forehead at her lack of forethought. “Is there anything else I need to know?”
Almost as soon as she finished her question, a section of the wall exploded inward, showering dust and some debris around the two women.
"Well… I don't think anything else is supposed to happen." Sylvia's face gradually faded into its naturally pale-ish tint.
As she observed the gemstone's effects on the woman, she was knocked down by the impact of the explosion. Eyes widened in shock and confusion, she instinctively glanced at the woman then at the shattered wall.
Clarissa barely managed to cover her head from the explosion but was knocked down as well. “Ok, what the hell!” she groaned angrily.
“Personally, I think you should hire better security. There was hardly any challenge.” Citrine Quartz quipped smugly as he flew into the courtyard.
Sylvia hissed when the familiar voice reached her ears, "Personally, I think your eyes should be burnt out of their sockets, and your intestines brutally ripped out of your abdomen, but then again,"
She stood up, her eyes glistening their usual color, this time more vibrant. The villainess lifted herself a few feet off the ground, holding a vivid green flame in each hand. "That's just my opinion, isn't it?"
Citrine Quartz shrugged casually at the threat, nonplussed by the display. “Either way, I’m actually here because I heard you decided to add kidnapping to your list of crimes.” he smirked. “But I'm in a good mood today so if you just hand over your newest victim and I won't turn you in right away.”
