"Hmmm. . . I didn't know at first either until I saw something explaining the ace spectrum." Jess hums.

"Ah okay that's interesting… I'll have to do some research on it then. "

"It really is." Jess chuckles, taking another spoonful of their malt.

Lexie smiled and took a sip of her whiskey

Oliver smiled and nodded.
"My pronouns are whatever the you want. I am a he, but i really don't care how I'm addressed."
He smiled again and refilled everyone's cups.

Jess smiles at Oliver.

"Good to know." they reply, downing the new shot in a fluid motion.

(I know that I usually have a lot of weird auto correct issues but now I have a concussion so it will most likely be worse so just letting you guys know!)

Lexie picks up her glass only finishing it after a few minutes looking over at Jess with a slightly red face

(Oh no, how did you get a concussion?! are you ok? Do you need anything?!?)
Oliver returned Jess's smile and refilled her cup once more.

(Her dog jumped up on her and as a result she banged her head on the corner of a table really fucking hard)

Jess downs the glass again, still seemingly unfazed by the liquor. Though their eyes were brighter than they were.

(I'm okay just a little out of it 😅)

Lexie looked up at Oliver and thought for a moment "this is going to be strange but do you have anything with cinnamon, fireball perhaps? '

(I hope you feel better)

Oliver smiled and pulled a few different bottles off shelves and out from the fridges under the counter.
"Yes, I have quite a large variety of cinnamon drinks."
He set six different bottles in a line in front of her. "I have Fireball cinnamon whiskey, Hard Truth cinnamon vodka, and some classic Hot Damn!. Just to name a few." He said smiling and tapping various bottles on the head while he said their name.

Lexie thought for a moment how about the fire ball and hot damn? Separate of course."

Jess pauses, then points at the Hard Truth cinnamon vodka.

"Mix me something up with that."

Oliver nodded as he poured and mixed the two drinks. Setting two glasses in front of Lexie and another in front of Jess.
"Here you go, try these."

Jess downs their glass immediately and shivers.

"Damn. That was good."

Lexie smiled and took the shot of fireball rather well "thank you very much, i have a random craving for cinnamon for some reason."

"Thanks." Oliver told Jess.

"Would you like a small bowl of it?" He smiled at Lexie. "Or maybe just a cinnamon roll? I don't have a cook right now, but I think i might have a few in the back if y'all want them."

Lexie raised a brow and chuckled i don't think I've ever been offered a bowl of cinnamon before, but if you're going to offer food id be glad to pay you for one." She said with a small smile

Oliver set down the cup he had been cleaning.
"After 2am love, nothing goes in the record. You don't need to pay." He looked over at Jess. "That goes for the both of you." He turned around and went into the back and when he came back out he was holding two plates of cinnamon rolls.

"Oh, are you sure? I don't mind, even if it's considered a tip I feel kinda guilty taking food and drink without paying."

"Love, it's perfectly fine."
He set one of the plates down in front of her, and the other in front of Jess.

"Well, I appreciate that it's very sweet, but I will ask if you'll accept a tip, or I'll feel guilty all night."

Oliver winked.
"Fine but only at the end of the night."

Lexie smiled a hit of blush could be spotted on her cheeks "thank you.." she then proceeded to down the second shot Oliver gave her which made her face more evenly red "holy shit-"

"You're welcome!" Jess replies, before tuning into the conversation curiously.

"Uh-uh, I'm paying in full sweetie. No arguments." they smile.

"Well if she gets to pay in full than i am too…i have a twenty on me, whould that cover it?"

Oliver smiled and tilted his head a little. "Call it a date then, and I'll pay for the both of you."

Jess takes a moment to process those words, then blushes and starts stammering away in Japanese.

"あなたのバーで飲むためになぜ私たちにお金を払うのですか？そして、なぜそれがデートだと言うのですか？そして、なぜ私は日本語を話しているのですか？そして、親愛なる神よ、私はばかです。"

"Well, i think he's just trying to be nice, and as far as why you're speaking Japanese i have no clue." She said laughing a little her words directed at jess

Oliver hesitated but continued smiling even thought he had no idea as to what was just said.
