"Since i got tipsy." He said matter-of-factly. "Why?" Oliver shot his glass again, this time refilling both of the glasses. Not just his own.

Jess laughs.

"Fair enough! Give me another drink and we can contemplate the mysteries of the world together, hm?"

(fuck it I'm hopping in because I don't want to be forgotten XD)

lexie rolled over in her bed no longer able to sleep she laid there for about an hour still restless she huffed and got out of bed throwing on some clothes and headed out the door she started her walk down the street looking down at her phone she walked for about fifteen minutes before coming along a bar that seemed to still be open she sighed and said what the hell before crossing the street and pushing open the heavy door seeing that there were only two people in the bar relaxed her slightly but at the same time she didn't feel like saying anything so she just sat down at the bar on one of the stools without speaking

Jess turns their head to look at the newcomer.

"You just get out of a job, or you wake up in the mood for a drink?" they ask brightly.

lexie doesn't look up from her lap
"um… couldn't sleep haven't really ben able to lately so.. this helps"

Jess sighs, looking at Oliver.

"Whiskey for her, then."

"on the rocks," she adds looking up at oliver

Jess grins at the woman, then forgets any semblance of English and starts speaking German for a moment.

"Ehrlich gesagt habe ich nur eine Vermutung angenommen. Ich bin überrascht, dass ich Recht hatte." they say, before freezing and trying to correct theirself, mortified.

Lexi smiled a bit
"Es ist jedermanns Schlafmittel, denke ich, richtig?"

Jess pauses, then smiles brightly; the spell of forgetting any English had passed, but now they had a reason to talk in German.

"Du sprichst auch Deutsch?"

"Ja, ich habe gelernt, als ich jünger war, dass ich eine deutsche Adoptivschwester hatte. " she said turning in her chair a bit.

"Ach, das ist schön. Ich habe Deutsch nur gelernt, weil es notwendig war. Ich habe einige Jahre in Deutschland gelebt." Jess nods.

"Yo tambien se española." they add.

"そして日本語."

"Plus a bit of a few more languages." they finish.

„Ah ich verstehe, das macht da schon ok. " she smiles a bit and clears her throat
"Yo también hablo español.. "

"Good to know!" Jess laughs.

They look at their malt, taking another bite of it.

"i haven't really met anyone that speaks those recently it's quite nice."

Oliver looked back and forth between the two, not knowing what they were saying, while he was pouring her drink.
He set it down in front of her and smiled.

she smiled at oliver as he slid her the glass "oh! thank you."

He nodded still trying to make sence of the gibberish the two girls had just sprouted at each other.
"Any time." he said

Jess turns back to Oliver.

"Might I have a shot of Spirytus?" they ask.

"Spirytus?" she asked looking at the girl beside her

"Vodka." Jess explains cheerfully.

Oliver smiles and nods.
"Now that is a language I can understand." he said and pulled out another glass and bottle.
"Do you want one to love?" he asked while he poured.

"ah okay…um sure ill take one why not?"

Jess watches as Oliver pours the shot, taking another spoonful of their malt.

He gives the shot to jess and pulls out another one for the other girl.
"My name's Oliver by the way." He said as he filled it up and put the glass down in front of her.

lexie slides the shot glass in front of her and drinks it instantly "my name is lexie its once to meat you oliver."

"Nice to meet you Lexie, my name's Jessie, but just call me Jess. Oh! Quick question, I'd like to know everyone's pronouns." Jess says cheerfully, waiting for their shot.

"Oh nice to meet you Jess. " she says smile in as she started to hold out her hand so Jess could shake it but instantly putting it down and clearing her throat "erm… Sorry about that um…my pronouns are she/her

"Figured! My pronouns are they/them, I'm neither male nor female in any sense of the words. I don't have any of those organs, and I'm glad for that actually. I'm on the ace spectrum, under the lithosexual umbrella." Jess smiles, explaining pretty much everything needed to get the ball on this rolling.

"Oh… Okay not to be rude at all but I don't really understand what you're talking about with the lithosexual umbrella… But it sounds interesting! "
