Ember looked over at them and her expression softened and she looked to Nathaniel "dear… I don't know how to feed them, what do I do?"
Ember looked over at them and her expression softened and she looked to Nathaniel "dear… I don't know how to feed them, what do I do?"
Nathaniel looked over at the two before looking at Ember. It took him a second to process her words, but when he did, he went red. “Uhhh, don’t they teach— wait no, you never went to school.” He paused look at her. “Uhh, just like every other mammal is a way of putting it.” Nathaniel didn’t know— well he did, but he didn’t know how to explain it.
Wait…… They have to…. on these?! " she was whispering but yelling at the same time and it was quite funny how she didn't realize what she had to do sooner, she sat up and looked down at her chest and then back up at Nathaniel hoping he would correct her, hopping she was wrong
Nathaniel’s eyes went wide eyed, clenching his teeth together. He laughed nervously, but turned into a cough. An 'oh boy' cough. “Uhhh, you see. Yes, yes they do. Glad those mama instincts are kicking in because I don’t know shit on how to nurse a baby.” He sat on the bed criss-cross applesauce, his hands in his lap. The baby girl started to cry, and any parent would know that as a hunger cry. “I could try to help… but this is not my jurisdiction.” Nathaniel slipped out of the bed and walked over to the crib. He picked up the girl, went back over to the bed, and gave her to Ember. He went back to pick up the baby boy and cradled him. Nathaniel sat back on the bed, staring at Ember.
Ember's face when red when he answered her, she looked at the child and back at her husband seeming to be a little frightened but more nervous than anything "i- would you please help me I don't know what to do.."
Nathaniel pursed his lips, staring at Ember. What was he supposed to do? "Errrr, I don't know how to help.." He held their son staring at him. The cries of his daughter sent him into distress, and he swallowed hard. "Why don't you try to do it yourself first? Then we can summon Lilith, yes?" A plumage of black feather fell around him, and his black wings appeared. The little boy opened his eyes and stared at Nathaniel. "You look like a Perseus." He whispered.
(Boop)
(Ah sorry?)
Um… I mean I suppose that could work but….. Would you have to leave or stay? "
Nathaniel bit his lip. Children were already stressing him out. Their little boy blinked at him, trying to get a read on his father's distorted face. "I wouldn't leave. You need me, don't you? So, I wouldn't let a certain demon kick me out." His wings fluttered between folded and open, almost like a version of rocking back and forth.
She nodded as she looked up at Nathaniel "ill need our son so I can feed him dear.."
Nathaniel hesitated. He didn't really want to hand him over, but he knew he had to. He handed over the child to Ember. "What will we name them? They need names, sweetie."
"well.." she spoke quietly as she reached for their son and she took him in her arms lightly pressing their foreheads together "we already picked a name for our daughter… But he was unexpected…. I'm not really sure."
“I like the name perseus. How about you? Do you like it, Ember?” Nathaniel kissed her on the forehead. “Or do you like something else?” His wings fluttered in excitement and their little boy moved slightly, mocking his dad’s movements.
Ember nodded and smiled "perseus is a lovely name dear.. "
That happened nearly 4 years ago the twins are now young children, and ember had developed a healthy eating habit and was no longer malnourished she had more of an hour glass figure now. Nathaniel was in his study as ember brought the kids out to a garden area that she had the servants make, she was sitting with one of the maids talking when she suddenly got a sharp headache she clenched her head and excused herself leaving the children with the woman as she made her way to her room it too her nearly ten minutes to get to her door as she stumbled inside with her hands on her temples

Nathaniel was in his study, writing away in a journal. Perseus was in the study with his father, rocking back and forth on his toes. He recently turned four and was already displaying great power. Nathaniel acknowledged his son, picking up the child and placing him in his lap. He wrote a letter to his kids in case anything happened to him. Percy played with the feathers on his growing wings, preening himself gently. Nathaniel ruffled the boy's blond hair and dotted the sentence in his journal.
Azazel shuffled into Ember and Nathaniel's room. He stood in the doorway, watching Ember curl upon herself. He moved into the room, sitting on the edge of the bed. She would probably think it was her husband than him. He placed a hand on Ember's back, soothing the devil's wife calmly. He pulled her closer to him. "Why must you be upset? Is something bothering you?" He raised an eyebrow, his purple eyes glowing in the dimly lit room. He wasn't great at mimicking voices and that would get him in trouble.
Ember was nearly asleep when azazel walked she of course thought it was her husband and smiled softly with her eyes closed "oh hello dear I thought you were-" she paused when she heard his voice azazel what are you doing is here?! " she said her eyes opened wide as she tried to get away
Azazel shushed Ember quietly. "I'm just checking up on you. I've been chained up for days." He hissed. "And it's all your fault." He smacked her across the face. "Some people just don't deserve happiness." He grabbed her on the arm, digging into her skin violently. Meanwhile, Percy got off his dad's lap and wandered to the door. He opened it slightly, looking back at his papa before slipping out of the room. He heard some noise coming from his mama and papa's room, so went to investigate. However, Nathaniel noticed Percy left the room and followed the little rascal. Percy wandered over to the room, staring into the doorway. He saw quite a sight. "MAMA!?" He hiccoughed in surprise. Azazel turned to look at Percy. He hissed at the child. He placed his hand over Ember's mouth.
Nathaniel followed Percy, his gaze glaring upon Azazel. "WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?" He roared. Azazel froze, teleporting off with Ember. Nathaniel stood in the room, cursing himself. Percy started to cry.
Ember was struck hard enough for her to fall to the ground and once she did she turned to see her little boy in the doorway fear took hold of her body and tears stung her eyes she had started to move to the door what azazel grabbed her and covered her mouth she let out a scream once she saw Nathaniel her body trembling but in an instant they were gone and she could no longer see where she was
Percy sat on the floor, crying over the fact that his mama was gone. Nathaniel was storming around the room, looking for signs of breaking. He went over to the guard posted at the door and yelled at them for being asleep. He slapped them on the wrists and ordered them to search for Ember. Nathaniel scooped Percy up in his arms, gently holding the child in a tight embrace. Percy never saw his papa that mad. It was scary to him. "Shhh." He brushed Percy's hair out of his face. "We'll find mama. I promised." Percy nodded.
–
Azazel had teleported them to the cells. He dropped her in a stack of hay he requested. His wings were unfurled, nasty scars scorn across them. "Welcome, me dear queen. It'll be a lovely stay." He laughed to himself, kicking Ember in the leg. "Just you and me. We can work out our differences."
Ember fell into the stack of hay looking up at the demon tears running down her face "why are you doing please I never did anything to you, i- azazel… " she cried out when he kicked her and she crawled away as far as possible so she wasn't harmed further.
Percy cried into his papa's shoulder. He couldn't catch his breath. He saw his mama get abducted. Nathaniel sat on the edge of his bed, cradling Percy. "We'll get her back, sweetie, don't cry." He started to cry. "Please don't cry, Percy." He tried to console the small child, but his cries encouraged the small child further.
Azazel sat on his stack of hay. He made it look like a small bed. Chains hung from the wall, but they were broken. Something had broken them and Azazel had gotten out. "Why am I doing this? Please. I told you. You're a lucky girl for marrying the king. You did a lot of things for me. How do you think I got in here." He growled under his breath. "But that's okay, I'll make you mine. It just takes a little rearranging of your mind."
Ember moved away from him as far as possible her breathing heavy what the fuck was going on what was he rambling about what exactly had she done she did nothing he constantly tried to kill her "azazel just let me go.. Please my husband my children I need to be with them I'll make sure you don't get taken just please.. "
Azazel laughed. "Bitches will be bitches. Please, you're worthless. I honestly wouldn't go back to them. He lied to you Ember. He always has." He crept closer to her. "They don't need you. You don't need them." He got close enough for him to place his hands on her head. "I can make the headache go away. You just need to listen to my words." Azazel stared into her eyes. He played, pushed, and screwed up memories. He kissed her on the cheek, moving away from the demonic werewolf.
Meanwhile, Nathaniel stomped around the palace, demanding guards search the entire place and retrieve Ember.
"He isn't lying to me azazel leave me alone don't you dare get any closer or I swear I will kill you, " she snarled at him the way he spoke her her made her heart thump against her chest she whined when she could feel her mind being poked and messed with she gripped her head whining more than she was originally what was happening to her what the fuck was happening to her?!
Azazel filled her head with false memories, jumbling up the ones between her and Nathaniel. He portrayed him as the attacker, the evil one. “Oh yes, he has. He’s lied to you quite a lot, Ember. It’s almost laughable with how much he’s gotten away with.” He smiled, pulling away. “Dear Nathaniel won’t know what coming for him. He’ll be the hurt one for once.” He started to laugh. “Now won’t he.”
Ember couldn't take the pain inside of her head it was to much to bare with screamed at tears ran down her face at the sudden changing memories she felt pain in her head and in her heart as if she was betrayed, and then it went dark
Azazel watched Ember, his hands laying neatly in his lap. He lifted one hand to wipe away the tears from Ember’s face, shushing her as she screamed. “That’s such a terrible sound.” He grumbled. “Are you okay, dear? You seem to be in great pain.” He smiled.
Ember whimperd and looked up at him she was severely confused she saw Nathaniel on her memories but he wasn't sweet and caring she saw no traces of empathy for her in his face and that broke her
"a-azazel….. Why would her do this to me? "
“Because Ember, people lie and manipulate others to get their way.” Azazel brushed his thumb across her cheek. He was painfully thin. “The king was never a good person in the first place. He's a bastard.” He giggled to himself. “You shouldn't go back to him. He'll kill you.”
Nathaniel pouted in his room. He didn't have the strength to figure out where they went. Not at the moment. Percy crawled into bed next to his papa, scared out of his mind. His nap consisted of horrible nightmares. On the other hand, his sister didn't seem phased that their mama was missing. It was only Percy and their papa.
Ember yelped "but my kids he wouldn't kill their mother! " she yelled as visions of her children blinded her
