Osiris grinned. "Does that mean he's a kid? I mean, he is very small, so it does check out. I almost want to use baby talk on him." He giggled. "I didn't learn much as a pup other than how to fight and make my enemies suffer. What a fun time." He liked the compression of the hug, it felt warm. He tilted his head.

Bane growled. He wasn't going to let Osiris get away with his ridicule. He turned his head away. "Maybe it is best for me to leave. But I am not a coward as you say, Osiris!" He let go of Lis and gave a sad look towards Devon. "I just don't.. trust any wolves at the moment. I am more excepting towards young pups though." He didn't wish to explain his distrustfulness. His memories were not ones he liked to relive. Bane stared at the young pup, trying to make up his mind on if he should give the pup a chance off the bat or let his mind heal a bit.
Kai moved to hide behind one of devon's wings, intimidated by Bane.
Devon sighed, "Yes he is a kid, I don't know how old but hes around 12 max. And Bane, you are scaring him. He is probably the nicest wolf you'll ever meet"
Osiris got excited. "Do we get to teach him things!" He had a malicious smile. "I have a lot I can teach one kid. Kids are fun to teach! They are so impressionable. Like my cousin! He apparently likes kids, but I am not too sure now." His tail was wagging fast, excited at the idea he could train someone with his ideals. Those ideals are not good ideals.

Bane tried to relax as he glanced at the young wolf. "A kid, you say?" He muttered. Bane liked kids because he could guide them to a better life than his own. He took a stride toward Kai, his size being ineffective in this situation. He extended his hand to let the child make his own move, similar to how one would allow a dog to sniff their palm before interacting with it. "I am sorry, little one." He spoke softly, his attention concentrated on the portion of Kai's face that he could see. "I'm not trying to be frightening. I can't help myself."
Kai took a step forward, still holding Devon's arm, he looked at Banes hand, then back at Bane, he smiled softly, his golden eyes gleaming with interest, and walked forward awkwardly, hugging Bane gently.
"I guess, but he doesn't talk, he can't talk, so teaching him might be hard…he can't read either" Devon shrugged, watching Bane carefully as he talked to his boyfriend.
Naize watched the scene unfold, shifting and trotting off
Osiris shrugged. "It doesn't matter to me if he can't speak. Noticing someone's body language is way more important. Plus I can read either, so that won't be useful. As long as my voice reaches his ears. We're good." He was illiterate, yes. He was never taught how to read or write. No hellhound has ever been taught these skills. He smiled softly at Kai. "Can we adopt him?'' Osiris wondered out loud.

Bane flinched when Kai hugged him. "Hello, young one." He patted the boy's back gently, looking at his golden eyes. "What is a child doing wondering out here all alone?" He looked to Devon for the answer. He couldn't help but think the boy was abandoned and that didn't sit right with him. "You need a guardian." Bane turned his attention back to the wolf. He saw curiosity in his eyes. "You're a curious one, aren't you." A hellhound of 6'5 next to a little wolf pup of 5'4 made Bane seem like a giant.
Devon sighed, letting go of Osiris to hug Kai, "Wolfs don't like those that are 'useless' or 'broken'…Kai is mute…so he is considered broken to them." he ruffled the wolfs hair, I met him when he was … really young…he was hurt and left to die by his family, so I took him in and helped him." he shrugged.
Kai looked between the demon and the hellhounds, the look on his face was equivalent to a giant question mark.
Bane ruffled the little wolf's hair. "I know that all too well. Dad thought I was broken because I had a weird eye. He also thought me useless after a while." He kneeled next to the kid so he didn't seem so frightening as Devon hugged him. "Don't worry kid. You'll be safe here. I'm pretty sure about that statement." He looked at Devon. "So you raised a young pup as a teen? Taking someone under your wing, huh? Literally." He stood up and took off his jacket, roping it around his waist. He has a few scars scattered around.

Osiris started to pout when Devon stopped hugging him. "How did you raise a whole child as young as you are? Like a younger brother? And you never taught his anything?!" Bane smacked Osiris on the head for being an idiot. "Ow! You are not kind to your cousin. Be softer, won't ya! You brute."
Devon rolled his eyes, "I took care of him until he could get around on his own, he hadn't learned to shift very well and teaching a literal wolf to read…you try that…plus I had to keep him hidden…"he muttered the last part, his wings dropping at the sad memories. "After the day my mother died, I never thought I'd see Kai again"
Naize wnt to go hunt, turning lyer as she did so
Osiris looked at the wolf. "I bet you can teach me to read. It can't be that hard, can it? There are letters, and the letters make words, and the words make sounds. I can probably even spell. Try me!" He was trying to up a literal child. He wasn't the brightest tool in the shed.

Bane tossed the pup a small bone. He liked to chew on bones. Maybe another wolf would also enjoy bones. He smacked his cousin again. "Osiris, will you be a little bit more considerate?" A growl came from his throat. He wasn't a fan of his cousin and his idiocracies. "Why did you have to keep him hidden?" Bane reached out to Kai again, curious about the small pup. "Shifting is a hard task. Took me a few years to master fluently." He muttered. “Did you ever think about teaching him..what was it called? The thing humans use where hand motions mean words..” Bane knew the concept of sign language very little.
Kai attempted and failed to catch the bone, his face going red from being embarrassed that he missed. He put his head down, his hair once again covering his face.
"Because my sister is…was… a murderous controlling bi- person." Devon said with a sigh, ignoring Osiris' competitiveness. He stepped away from Kai, trying to prevent the small wolf from hiding behind him, "Hes not a hellhound, so… he is .. different from you guys..and hes small… and he had no one to teach him how to be what he is.." he muttered.
Bane picked up the bone and gave it to Kai, patting him on the head. “Well, no shot. Your sister was too controlling. I don’t think anything could survive around her. Even your survival was suffering.” He turned his head away remembering that he murdered June. “Werewolf?” He questioned. He knew the difference between the two well. He wasn’t aware of other wolf shapeshifter species. There could always be a possibility of something new. “Of course, he’s small, he's young. I want this tall out of the womb.” Bane giggled. “Don’t let Osiris teach a child. He’ll just.. use his own agenda.”
“Yeah! I can teach a little creature!” Osiris huffed.
Bane looked at him unamused. “With that word choice? Hell no. I wouldn’t want you near any kids. Not even my own if I had any. Plus you use dirty tricks and would make a clone of yourself. I wouldn’t want anyone to be like me.” He was close to punching Osiris in the mouth, but decided against it.
Naizes lyer's yell echoed in the woods, lust was back..
Kai took the bone and smelt it, he made a confused face then looked back at Bane, as if asking what to do next.
"yeah…she was a bit much," Devon sighed, "Yeah, I think hes a werewolf. but one can only guess, as he can't communicate very well" he sighed. "Osie, you should leave the teaching to … probably females…they make better teachers I always thought."
Bane kept an eye on the smaller wolf. “You gently bit on it. It keeps your fangs sharp. Just don’t swallow any fragments. You could choke. I don’t think I could show you how to chew on bones, I don’t have any other on hand currently.” He patted himself down. “It’s best to shift and chew on it. Teeth in your human form are fragile compared to wolf form. Make sense?” He tilted his head, cycling through a thumbs up, shaking his hand to indicate iffy, and a thumbs down.
Osiris scrunched up his nose. “Who taught you that?! I could make just as good a teacher as any girl. Plus there are no female wolves around.” He was whacked in the head by Bane.
“This is enough, Osiris. Let Devon do what he thinks is best for the pup. He’s known him for longer. But I will say, I’m 99% sure your friend is a werewolf. They’re often cute, cuddly, and docile. Not as feral as us.” Bane ruffled Kai’s hair, noticing how thick it was. “And thick hair is another indication too. What do you say, Kid? Was I right?” Another cycle of yes, no, and eh hand signals. He stood up straight after hearing Naize’s calls. “Little Naize is in trouble again.”

Kai gave a thumbs up, setting the bone on the floor, he pushed his hair out of his eyes, making it even more tangled than before. He fiddled with his necklace, the only thing he wore besides shorts.
Devon walked away and came back with a hoodie, putting it on Kai. "There, have some clothes."
Kai waved his hands, which were covered by the sleeves with a silent giggle.

“Hey, look at that. I’m glad you understand!” Bane gave the boy a soft smile. “And you have a little necklace like I do. That’s so cute!” He giggled as he watch Devon put a hoodie on Kai. “Be careful with the small one.” He watched for the hand signals. “What do you mean eh? Are you half something? Yes, no, eh? And if you do give me a thumbs up, I will show you some new hand signs.” He brought his hand up to his face a pulled it away while closing his hand so his fingers touched to indicate wolf or more so Hellhound (Hellhound/werewolf mixes exist and they are scary), he put together his middle and pointer with his thumb underneath moving them from his shoulders to his hips to indicate human, and so on with other species.
Bane grabbed the knife at his hip. He went over to Lis and whispered something to her, looking back at Kai. “I can teach you a lot more after I take care of an important task.” He went outside to find Naize. He could still hear her urgent yowls.
Naize bounded back and forth, the large lyercat was retreating
Bane left the house and the door slammed closed. He pulled out his sword and caught Naize. "Naize! Hey, what's wrong, little Naize?" He looked at the dark, patchy forest. "Oh, that can't be good. Naize, what is going on in there? What did you attract?" He sniffed the air. "Naize, you have the scent of a demon to you. What's going on with you, kitty?"
Naize watched bane for a moment before shifts to a human like state, the new black wings surrounded her smaller dameanor. " The smell is me now, I accidentally tasted the devil's blood but lust is pissed off in the Forrest"
Bane looked at the bobcat with a sad smile. "So…you're a demon cat now, huh? How was the process? Was it painful?" He gritted his teeth, tears welling in his eyes as anger flashed across them. Luna was right. Anything happening to Lis or Naize would set him off. "I'm going to kill that bitch—even if it does kill me." He stood up and marched towards the forest. He would first murder Lust, and then Wrath/ the devil.
" n..no bane please!" Naize begged
Bane stopped and turned around. Anger hand encompassed his face and his eyes were blood-red. He was tamer than when Lis had slipped out, but he still appeared to have murder on the mind. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN, NO! DON'T YOU SEE WHAT THAT BASTARD DID TO YOU! HE DESERVES TO DIE!" He shouted in anger, his hand clutching the blade of his weapon. It cut into his hand and his blood dripped down the blade. Steam raised up from the blade as the blood evaporated from it. "And if I die killing him. So be it. It's a price to be paid."
" because I can't lose you! Please! You've been the only thing that's felt like a family! I can't lose you!" She started to cry "please"
Bane looked at Naize sadly. "I'm sorry, little Naize. I must do what I have to do. Tell Lis I love her, won't you? Please" The feral part of his mind consumed him. "You can't stop me, Naize." His eyes became a bright shade and red, and he turned around. He marched closer to the forest, shadows wafting off of his figure. He didn't seem like Bane anymore, but the beast that inhabited his body every time he slipped into this state.
" lis! " Naize ran for the woman to help
Bane stared down Lust. “Why are you here?” He spun his sword around. He wasn’t about to let this demon go free. “You’re not allowed on our territory.” A growl came deep from his throat. Lust turned and look at Bane amused. “So the little rat puppy wants to fight.” Lust smirked, drawing his Jian sword. Bane zeroed in on Lust, moving to attack the demon on his left side. Lust parried the attack and struck the dog on the right. Bane block the advance and went for the legs.
Lust stepped back, and Bane missed his mark. Lust slashed the puppy on the side. Bane didn’t fall, but his blood dripped down his side. “Give it up, Lust! I want you out of this fucking town!” He charged the demon, his sword pointing straight at his chest. But something impaled Bane in the chest. Blood spilled out of his mouth, and he collapsed with a low howl. Wrath had impaled Bane, taking Lust aside and slashing the demon’s wrist. Lust was reprimanded and the demons left.
Naize went to Devon."we have to help him!"
