Devon smiled slightly, "true, but there are different places of hell that we come from…" he blushed looking at osiris, and then his face became a tomato when Osie kissed him.

(poor demon gonna die from the affection)

Osiris smiled. "Oh! Does it matter that we come from two slightly different parts of Hell? I don't think so. Doesn't make you any less you, now does it buttercup?" He watched Dev's face flair into a lavish red. He pressed his hand against Dev's cheek to feel the rising heat. "You're sooo adorable when you blush. I think I have said this before, but I only speak the truth."

Devon blushed even more at that "Shush" He muttered before kissing Osiris. Partly to keep the hellhound from poking fun at his blushing, partly because he wanted to.

Osiris' face started to tingle as it grew red. This was going to shut him up for minutes, his breath taken away from him. His muscles contorted into a smile. "You-" He couldn't speak. Words would not flow out of his mouth. He had never felt so alive and loved. Osiris' body tingled from the excitement of it all.

Devon smiled shyly, a small smirk forming when he realized he had made the hell hound flustered. He kissed Osiris again lightly, "I can be very clingy and touchy…plus…this makes it so much easier to not pass out..not that I am using you! just..yeah" he muttered covering his face, "I talk to much" which was hardly true, after all he hardly talked.

Osiris giggled at how affectionate Dev was being. His hellhound tail manifested and wagged really fast. He took Dev's hand in his and stared the demon in the eyes. "You are the best type of clingy because I am super clingy. That's what imprinting is! Being clingy!" Devon's comment about not passing out hinting at using a bit of Osiris' energy went over his head. "No! Talk more! I love the sound of your voice!" A hellhound in love was a different creature.

Devon chuckled, "wait..what is imprinting?" he looked at osiris confused, no one had ever told him that they loved when he talked, so he wasn't sure how to react.

Osiris shrugged. "Imprinting is either a good thing or a bad thing. It's like when a pet dog gets super protective and sticks by your side until they die. That's imprinting. You recognize the other as someone you can trust and you know they'll take care of you!" Osiris was yapping a mile a minute. "You'd take care of me like how I'd take care of you, right?"

Devon nodded and hugged Osiris, "Yeah, why do you think I tried to keep you from getting thrown into the wall?" he chuckled

Osiris held on tight to Devon. "Because you're a nice person!" He giggled. "Sometimes I need to be launched into the wall to surpass my suboorness. You can either learn the hard way or the easy way. I choose the hard way most of the time."

"well if you are not careful" he kissed Osiris' nose, "You could get hurt a lot worse, and that would hurt me"

Osiris smiled, trying to cover up his blush. "I'll be more careful. I don't want to hurt you." He started to whimper. "I don't like hurting my loved ones. Especially you. I don't want to hurt you…I don't you to be hurt more than you already are… I'm sorry Bane did what he did.."

Devon waved away the comment about bane, "I don't want to think about that…i have enough darkness filling my head that if I think on that it might take over and I will do something I'll regret."

Osiris whimpered. “Sorry I brought it up. I don’t want you to hurt anyone… please.” He kissed Dev on the forehead to symbolize him trying to make things bearable. “Don’t do anything like irrationally kill anyone. I will help you stay calm and distract your mind, alright?”

"I won't, and its fine" he sighed, he closed his eyes and smiled softly, "I won't hurt anyone…I dont like violence anyway"

Osiris brushed his hair. “Good. I wouldn’t want you to feel that pain. I know it’s bad. I can't imagine how cuz feels—“ He shook his head. “Everything will be okay, I know they will. You have me!” Osiris gave him a soft smile and stood up from where we sat. He shook off all the debris from the brick. “Ow!” He howled when he tried to set weight on his foot. “Dumb vampire!”

Devon stood up, taking Osiris' hand. "Be careful, you are still hurt Osie". He smiled softly, this hellhound was making his softer side show, and he didn't mind one bit.

Osiris had a sour look on his face. “It takes bone too long to heal for my taste.” The bones in his ankle were broken from when he was launched through the wall. While sitting and talking to Dev, many of the bones had healed. His foot looked fine despite it not being set. Osiris whined. “I’ll be fine in 20 minutes. Just need the rest…” He panted. Healing bone also took a lot of energy. “Just need the rest of the bones to heal….I need rest.” His energy was depleted compared to earlier. It would prevent the last bits of bone from healing.

"you should lie back down, want me to move us to the room?" he asked, putting a hand on Osiris' arm as an attempt of comfort.

Osiris nodded, trying not to put any weight on his ankle. The tarsals had fractured in many places. He’d gone down hill fast. It happened when the cost of your amazing abilities was your own energy. “Im—I’m—I’m going to throw the vampire through a wall.”

"Let me just shadow travel there…itll be easier" he muttered, and traveled to the room via shadows.

Osiris nodded in approval. He breathed a sigh of relief when he climbed into the bed, trying to not hit his foot. He laid out the foot with the broken ankle. “That doesn't look good…” The skin was swollen and he gritted his teeth. “How do humans do it without regenerative healing?”

"Drugs, they numb it and then wait ages for it to heal" He shrugged, laying down beside Osiris.

Osiris whined and took off his other boot to feel comfortable (I forgot to say he took off his boot). He reached over for Dev. "Can you do something to relieve the pain?" His eyes were heavy, and they start to close from the large amounts of energy loss. "Please.."

"What - I don't know how to help you Osie…I am not that smart when it comes to a lot of things." He wrapped his arms around the hellhounds chest.

Osiris nuzzled his Devon. "You're smart, buttercup. I was just wondering if you could numb the pain." He said softly. He started to fall asleep, clinging onto Dev and messing up his foot. He whimpered quietly from the movement, but fell asleep snuggling Dev.

(Edit: 'His Devon' was an unintentional writing mistake, but I kept it cause it’s cute)

Devon played with Osie's hair as he fell asleep, smiling softly to himself. He hoped Osiris' foot would heal quickly, he didn't like seeing anyone in pain.

Osiris tossed in his sleep. He woke up with a tiny scream, breathing hard. His foot had healed over this period, and that made Osiris feel better. He was shaking a little. Whatever his mind had dreamt up had scared him beyond belief. He clung onto Devon, clearly upset by something. "Bad things." He whispered. "Bad thing are going to happen." And Osiris was right. There was a new villain in town, and everyone should be able to feel his edge. Cerberus business partner. The king of demons.

Devon woke up and held Osiris close, "Itll be alright Osie…it will be ok" he was still half asleep, so his senses were off, and he wasn't paying attention to what was said, just that his hellhound was upset.
