“Alrighty Cavendish, what plans do you have for us? We can’t stay in here forever. We’re fighters, not peacekeepers.” He continued to pet Naize. Petting something calms him down, it keeps his mind off the moment. Although Bane didn’t favor or generally like cats, this one was okay.
Cavendish chuckles. "Right now, the plan is to just run for it."
Bane looked at Cavendish with judging eyes. "How is that a plan? How is running going to help? We can't solve our problem by running! We're just cowards by then." He continued to pet Naize, but the pets seemed to become a little aggressive. His tail is curled tightly around his body. "It's better to face the enemy."
Naize playfully bit his fingers, rolling onto her back and playing with his hand. ( love how naize turned into the family pet XD)
Cavendish shrugs. "We have no idea how many people are after us, how good they are, their abilities, if they are even human. It's best to run and collect info."
(Yeah, and Cavendish is bascically the mother, lol.)
(Bane is the wako aggressive family dog that everyone finds out they can tame and love the hell out of them)
Bane giggled from ticklishness. "Nazie I swear, I will shift into my wolf form and—" he cut himself off. It wasn't supposed to be a threat, but he supposed saying 'play with you' sounded like she was going to become a chew toy. He wiggled the tip of his tail near her nose. Sometimes his tail will just randomly manifest, and there's nothing he can do about it. "You need a cat toy, and I need a chew toy. I wonder if I can find any bones around." He thought about murder and thought, hey, that's cool. "I think I'll go kill something for bones."
Naize sneakily pawed at lis, using her claws to pull at the woman’s shirt
Cavendish yelps and laughs, grabbing at Naize playfully.
Naize bats playfully at her hand
Bane shifted into his wolf form and ran off. He goes for the door, but a good question for Bane is: How is he going to open it? He doesn't realize that one until an audible thud is heard from the other room. Yep, that is Bane. The wolf just rammed his head into a door because he was too excited to hunt rabbits. He sulked back into the room, shaking his wolfy head. He started to howl in annoyance at how the door's animal-proof. In his personal doggie opinion, they should have a doggie door. You know, for their doggie assassin.
Naize, clearly the smarts, jumped up and launched onto the knob, twisted the knob and open the door
(Animal partners in crime lol)
Bane ran after Naize, wagging his tail. He did the downward dog as a 'thank you' bow. His ears perked as he ran out of the door. He was going to get those rabbits, and nobody was going to stop him. Bane sniffed the air for a scent to catch, but he caught another scent. He froze in his steps. What scent was that? Who did it belong to? He glared at the shadows and saw two red eyes. He rolled his doggie eyes. Dad's goons are everywhere. He quickly killed a few rabbits and ran back inside before anything happened to him.
Naize play tackled bane, bitting his neck and trying to pin him
Bane dropped the rabbits. He rolled over on his back to show 'hey! I'm not a threat!' even though he's twice her size. He batted at her with his paw, making the classic dog about to get zoomies noises. The wolf playfully nipped Naize's scruff, sneezing to show he was just playing.
Naize purred while she played, making the chip sounds cats make when they find birds
(This is the most wholesome assassin group I have ever seen ;-; I might actually die XD)
Cavendish finds the hellhound that had gotten Bane back inside and picked it up, tossing it 50 feet. It yelps, then limps away, casting a long, baleful look back behind it. Cavendish gives a cheeky little wave, then watches Naize and Bane play.
Naize rolled them over and bit at banes nose
Bane batted a paw at Naize's eyes in retaliation for the bite. He started to get really vocal, making it hard to tell whether he was playing or becoming aggressive. Bane knew cats landed on their feet, so he used his legs to push up on her stomach and send her launching into the air. He got up and shook himself off, diving after one of the rabbits he caught. Bane laid down to chew on it. His bite broke the bones of the rabbit in one clean snap. Scary.
Naize did not land on her feet, yelping as she hit the floor.
Cavendish rushes over to examine Naize, determining that she was only bruised. They pass a hand over Naize's form, and a pulse of healing sweeps over her form, dulling down the pain and reducing swelling and bruising. They get up and walk over to Bane.
"Hey. Before you get into a state, you didn't know that would happen. I know your thoughts said that Naize would land on her feet, but she isn't a normal cat. She's also a lot smaller and lighter than you are. Please be more careful." they murmur, looking Bane in his eyes.
Bane titled his head, the rabbit dangling from his mouth. He was startled Cavendish knew what he was thinking. Especially his doggie thoughts. He brushed against Cavendish in his own apologetic wolfy way. Bane then went to town on the rabbit. Returning him to his humanoid form would have to wait. He was much happier in his wolf form.
Naize crept up to bane, dragging off with one of the rabbits
Bane snapped at Naize, but it was too late. She got the rabbit. Unfortunately for everyone else, Bane made a mess of the rabbit, spilling its blood everywhere. He was also a mess. Blood dripped all over his fur. Hellhounds were messy eaters; no one was going to deny that. He wagged his tail, his mood boosted after having the rabbit. Now you know one of the ways to make Bane very happy. Rabbit.
Naize ate beside bane, clearly hungry.
Bane trotted over to Cavendish, brushing his muzzle against their hand. He started to playfully tug on their hand, grazing his teeth along their fingers. He barked a few barks of 'I want to play!', Bane having resorted to dog-like mindedness. He started to brush against them harder, trying to knock them over.
Cavendish chuckles. "You want to play, huh?"
They don't get pushed off balance, pushing back against Bane.
Bane pulled on Cavendish's clothes with a growl in his throat. He's playing tug of war with Cavendish and their own clothes. His bite is strong and strength through the roof. The tear of fabric can be heard. He pulls harder and harder, getting closer to stepping on Naize. His teeth are bared, his body recoiling after each yank.
Cavendish whisks up Naize, grinning as their shirt rips off of them. The illusion on their face, their body, fades once more, revealing the gruesome scars again. They hold out their hand for Bane to tug on, an amused look on their face.
Bane threw the torn fabric away and latched onto their hand. He started to tug on it. His teeth dug into their skin, although he didn't mean to do this. He knew wounds from a hellhound never healed, they always scared. He started to tug really hard, and if nothing was done, their shoulder might just come out of its socket.
Cavendish grins morbidly, pulling back against Bane, moving backwards at the same rate that Bane is tugging forward.
"I know the scars that come from these bites. I want the scars." they murmur, knowing full well that Bane can hear and understand them. "Bite harder."
