Naize noticed not, quickly racing into an empty alleyway. Soon she came back out, wrist blades and gun at her hip.
There was going to be a fight now, and it would end in blood if they had the same target

Bane's ear twitched at the innate sound of soft footsteps, and he stood to his full height. He didn't smile nor did he flinch. He didn't move nearly at all. He wasn't scared of others like most were. Most were just incompetent idiots who thought they were someone. Bane shifted his weight to his left leg and crossed his arms. His face had no discernable expression. "Why am I here? What a great question," he mumbled. Bane wasn't caught in a stalemate; He could easily teleport off. "Simple answer: I'm bored. Complex answer: I can't tell you. It's a secret." His voice was naturally husky. Getting closer to him, you could make out stranger features like fangs when he speaks. "I like lurking around. It's fun. There you go, there's your answer. Leave me alone." His tone turned into a growl. He drew his weapon, letting it hang by his side to not engage in a fight, but for natural protection.
“you're a target of the royals, care to explain?” her honey-sweet voice echoed from somewhere. She belonged in the shadows, perfectly hidden from view.
Cavendish tilts his head.
"Ah. . ." he chuckles, understanding.
"Who's the mark?" he asks. Or at least, he starts to ask. But he'd heard another voice. He whipped out a throwing knife, throwing it in the same swift motion. The knife lands, quivering, next to the new person's face.
"Royals?" he whispers. "The only royals I know are the ones buried 12 feet under."
June watched the scene unfold, then decided to start throwing rocks at the people, just to see if they would react. She loved a good fight, but only if she got to join. Dev disappeared from the roof, appearing in the shadows behind the guy that seemed rather annoyed by being bothered, mostly to get a better look. He had his hands in his pockets and a placid expression as he stood in the shadows, the darkness seeming to be drawn to him.
Cavendish looks up, in the direction the rocks were coming from, unamused. He catches one of them and throws it back up, intending to knock the thrower down from their perch.
He looks behind Bane, seeing the other man. "Get the thrower down from the roof."
(who got elbowed?)
(Dev. If he isn't that close, I can change that.)
(um, he appeared behind the wolf guy. shoulda clarified that)
(Ah, okay. I'll change that.)
Naize quietly snuck to be in front of the big wolf-like creature, “ we should all stop! “ she quipped
Cavendish tilts his head.
"Stop what? I, at least, have no real intent on doing anything. However, I believe that you do. As I've asked this man behind me, who is your target?"
The shadows encompass Bane, his red-ish eyes disappearing. He reappears a few feet behind Cavendish. Shadow travel. There is something clearly otherworldly about him. The ears, the mark, the fangs. He gave off a strange aura. He didn’t appear to be your normal person—let alone assassin. His stance was battle-ready, spinning his weapon in his hand. One shouldn't underestimate his skill even if he just wielded blades. “I don’t know what you humans are on about, but stay out of my way! I don’t need you interfering with my,” he chooses his word carefully, saying it through his teeth. “Assignment.” Every word muttered was said hostilely. His face twisted with anger, the red in his eyes covering the last of the onyx and blue. Getting him to be complacent wasn’t going to happen.
(Damn. My response was late lol)
(another shadow traveler?)
June jumped down from the roof, landing with grace and a bow. She looked at the others with a wide grin, a mischievous glint in her eyes. She looked at Dev, and he then appeared behind her, in the same stance, watching the others. June twirled her knife in her hand. "you guys seem like fun, can we fight?"
(It's good, Livi!)
Cavendish doesn't even flinch. He brings one elbow back, a blow designated for Bane's stomach, then launches a right hook as he spins. He doesn't expect any blow to hit. Rather, he's testing Bane's reflexes and moves.
"Human? Who said anything about human?" he asks, voice softer and silkier than it was before. His voice changer was powering off.
"And I can tell the killers from the normals. You are a killer. An assassin. Who's your mark?" he asks, voice lighter, more lilting. A woman's voice. Not at all like the voice they normally have.
“ my target is the wolf.” she growled, “ government orders.”
(the voice change, funny)
(Yeah. The thing is, nothing is known about them. I can do anything I'd like! [I don't even know anything.])
Cavendish tilts their head.
"The wolf? Government orders? Those fools know not to mess with them. Try again." they murmur.
June clapped once after putting her knife away, causing a cloud of black mist surround her, using it as a get-away. She disappeared, gone in the few seconds it took the mist to clear. Devon was still standing there, his eyes glowing from the shadows.
She almost giggled “ one ghost to another, you shouldn't put your nose in my shit~”
Cavendish tilts their head. "Ghost? Huh. This seems to be a very fragile situation, and I think I know who to blame. . ."
“Oh? So you to you put the pressure onto?” she said sickeningly sweet
Cavendish stays silent for a moment. Then they speak.
"I said I think I know who to blame. I never gave any conclusive evidence, and was never given any conclusive evidence. But in the end, yes, I might know." they murmur.
“Then speak black sheep”
Bane moved out of the way of Cavendish's attempt at a blow. How pathetic. "I am just doing what father told me." He smiles, enjoying all the moving parts of the chaos around him. The girl wants me dead. This person is testing my limits. Some other girl wants to fight, and her sibling wants to join along. And now they're all being stupid, with one disappearing like a coward. He laughs his voice breaking the argument, holding his head high and glancing from person to person. "All of you are pathetic. Trying to fight each other and end it in a messy bloodbath. Have fun with that. I'd like to see your dead bodies," he sneers. Bane sheaths the sword and gives a salute. "Good day." He turned heel, walking in the opposite directions of the four, his back purposely turned. "Oh, by the way, girl, you can't murder me. In fact, you suck at your job."
Cavendish chuckles. "'Pathetic', huh?"
The next thing Bane knows, he's on the ground, the tip of a knife pressed to his jugular. "I wouldn't try moving, hellhound. I can push this blade into your neck before you even manage to go shadow."
Devon smirked, disappearing in the shadows and followed the guy who seemed to be the center of attention. He had no interest in fighting, but his sister did. She was hiding amongst the other two, probably about to start throwing rocks at them, just to annoy them. Gods she is so annoying he rolled his eyes. He almost laughed at the statement 'you suck at your job'.
She merely sighed “ I never asked for your damn opinion
