Tiara scoffed. "Don't worry about me." She yanks her bag close and pulls closer to Brook

Cass shrugs. "Suit yourself."

"Anyways, how long do we plan on staying?" she asks Brooklyn.

" We actually need to get home, before our parents find out we're her." Brooklyn sighed.

Cass chuckles. "My mom doesn't care much, and my dad, welll… he wouldn't know."

But she gets up anyways and stretches, her shirt riding up on her stomach and revealing a strip of it.

Brooklyn looked worried. "Maybe you should stay with us."

"Are you crazy?! Tio and Tia will kill us!" Tiara said pulling Brooklyn's arm

Cass chuckles. "Nah, I can't. Your parents would hate a stranger showing up and asking to stay."

"Ironically, they wouldn't. Your home doesn't sound good." Yumi said. A couple of cop cars drove you to the bakery, demanding to see a suspect. A suspect the sounded a lot like Brook.

"Welp, now over never." Brooklyn said as they helped Yumi and Tiara hop over a fence to an alleyway. "You coming?" She said as she turned to Cassandra.

Cass looks at the cops, then shrugs. "Yeah, I'm coming."

She jumps over the fence easily, following the others.

They all start running trough the forest and hide in an abandoned tool shed, decked with illegal goods such as magical artifacts and weapons. Brooklyn locked to door as she heard to cops after them and tells everyone to hide behind a box.

Cass examines some of said weapons. Huh. . . I recognize some of these. This one was stolen recently from a museum, and this one was found in a tomb, but then it was "lost". I wonder why. . .?

She dives behind a box just as a cop opens the door.

The cop examines the area, noticing the labels on the boxes. Before he grabbed his walkie talkie, Tiara grabbed him and knocked him out with a bat. She pushed the cop down a hill to throw the dogs scent off and stayed hided in the shed. After a while the cops treated back into the city, the cost was clear.

Cass sighs. "You do realize you just came dangerously close to getting caught with legendary artifacts, right? I'm pretty sure I saw Excalibur in there, you know. I'm not an idiot."

Tiara scoffed. "Duh! Yumi, did you find it?" Yumi was going through a box and grabbed a specter, some books, and a wand.

"Got it!" The wand was in casing label "Nova Eclipza, witch of space & fire" Nova was said to be a powerful witch that destroyed an entire planet and sacrifice more than 14 million creatures. They're story is spread world wide as a dangerous individual.

Cass sighs. "And Katoptris, Helen of Troy's dagger."

She turns. "And Merlin's staff and wand."

She turns once more. "Plus Hrunting and the old 'giant sword, with edge impenetrable', or whatever the heck that line said."

She shakes her head. "Jesus, Brook. If I didn't know any better, I'd say your family is a sect of artifact hunters."

Brook grabbed the wand from Yumi. "This is what we can here for, the wand of Nova Eclipza." She showed Cass the wand. Tiara checked outside and signaled everyone to walk down a hill to a nearby lake, locking the shed behind him and sealings it up so no one can touch it.

Cass takes a close look at the wand: ebonized wood, carved with intricate designs of fire and stylized shadows. She sudders. "No, thank you. Keep that away from me, please."

Brooklyn chuckled. "What, scared?" She held the case close to her. "Nova is an absolute sweetheart, ya know?"

Tiara stopped for a moment before asking, "…can I hold mom's wand?" Brooklyn gave a warm nod and pass the case to Tiara.

"No, not scared. I just have a tendency to, ah. . . destroy. . . magical auras." Cass murmurs.

"Which is why I shouldn't hang around you two very often." she adds, gesturing to Tiara and Yumi.

Yumi looked intrigued. "Destroy, how come?" They all reached the lake, it shimmered a dark purple color.

"It's not something I do on purpose. Apparantly I have som sort of ability that nullifys all magic near me, and if I'm around for long enough the aura is destroyed completely." Cass says, her face guilty as she explains.

"You're not human, are you?" Yumi asked as he sat by the lake with Tiara holding his hand.

Cass shrugs. "I'm pretty sure I am, but there's always the off chance that I'm not, I suppose."

Brooklyn looked at her bag, she took Merlin's staff and wand. "Nova, our mom, they collected these artifacts to back to Zona Dormiu." Yumi took off his bandana, reveling his scales and fin ears

Cass cocks her head to one side at the mention of Zona, then grins when Yumi's scales and fin ears are revealed. "I've heard of Zona Dormiu, I belive. Isn't she a big-shot artifact collector?"

She looks around, pondering a question. "Would it be okay if I grabbed one of these non-magical artifacts?"

All three on them looked at Cass with dumb-founded face, then burst to laughter. "Zona Dormiu is a place, not a person." Brooklyn said between the breathes of her laughter. Yumi tweaked his wired glasses and calmed his voice.

"Specifically, a planet. Right under here." He said

Cass sighs. "Yeah, yeah. You know more than me about this, but I'm not an idiot."

She looks down, then sighs. "Really? Underneath?"
