Reyna snarls slightly, smelling Mardicos's line of thought. "I am no pup."
Adam just shrugs and shifts again, sniffing around.

Mardicos paused at the woman’s words. He looked over his shoulder, giving her a stern glare, then continued onward. He would find his clothes first, then put this woman in her place.
Reyna waits, hands on her hips, able to smell this angry outcast's intentions. Good luck, bud.
Meanwhile Adam was happily digging into the frozen earth, a puppyish energy about him. Reyna snorts and continues ignoring him.
When Mardicos reached the tree where he had hid his clothes, he stopped and steeled himself for the slow, painful morph. As his body changed, fur falling and bones snapping, he cried out in agony. Wolf howls became human screams, then he sprawled on the ground, panting as he recovered.
Mardicos groaned after a moment, then slowly sat up and dressed. He put his dagger on his belt and carried his axe, walking back to the others with a determined, irritated stride.
“You are a fucking pup! And there’s no way you can deny it! One, you’re too goddamn social. Two, your partner, or whatever the fuck he is, here is just outright obvious. And three, you don’t know when to leave someone alone. Besides, I can fucking smell it on you. You’re young, both in body and in mind. So, fuck off!”Mardicos snapped.
He glared at the woman, his posture solid, prepared for whatever she decided to do. His hand held tight onto the axe, and he barely held himself back from cracking her skull with one swing. He hated being bothered by lost pups! Pups meant packs, and packs were nothing but trouble.
Reyna grimly listens, and by the time Mardicos had finished his rant she was flushed red with rage and a barely controlled instinct to slap the shit out of this asshole.
"Social my goddamn ass. And I have no idea who the fuck this moron is. I do know when to leave someone alone, but you…" she stops for a moment, her eyes glinting strangely. "You are a packless alpha, like me. You know how our kind's instincts work, coward."
A low growl echoed from his throat, and fur slowly grew along his arms. Claws also grew on Mardicos’ fingertips, blood dripping from them. One eye turned an icy blue, the same as his wolf form. His body was completely still except for his breathing.
“You don’t know when to leave someone alone. Yes, I’m a packless alpha, but I’m also a fucking feral. Have you ever led a pack of true wolves before? They’re much more sophisticated than you might think, and much more accommodating. And our kind… no. We may be lycanthropes, but I am a completely different fucking beast. So, you might want to watch your words before you lose your tongue,”he said, his voice low and quiet, anger dripping from every word.
(Haven't been the most active this week, apologies…anyway, just gonna throw my gal into the mix)
Vitara had finally found someplace she could stay away from others. Tucked away in a far corner of the woods, she was content to stay where she was, curled up under a rock outcropping as a wolf in blissful silence. But the silence only lasted so long before she heard a bark. There was no doubt in her mind that it had come from another wolf, something she didn't like roaming around on her territory. It wasn't well marked, but she knew they had to be near her part of the woods.
Slowly, she uncurled and got to her feet with a low huff before trotting off towards the commotion. She had no intention of talking, she simply wanted them to go away, but as she neared the source of the noise, she smelled not one, but three separate humans. Finally, she was close enough to see the three from a spot several long yards away; careful to stay downwind of the group to keep herself relatively hidden. It didn't do much as she wasn't hiding behind a tree, but the largest one couldn't actively spot her, which was a win in her book.
Reyna also half-shifts to match Mardicos. Her eyes blaze with fury, and a biting cold comes from her. The snowstorm grows in intensity.
"Do not presume to tell me what I do and do not know. We are all feral, even that moron digging in the snow over there. Even if we used to have our own packs that we lost. And completely different beast my ass. Both of us are infected with lycanthropy. That is enough. And-" she pauses for emphasis. "I would watch your threats, lest you find yourself incapable of following through."
Adam stops digging, and growls slightly, shifting to full human and stepping between the two furious weres.
"Settle down." he says amiably.
Reyna growls and whirls on him. "Do not presume to tell me what to do, pup."
(Boop)
(I just found the deepest shit I've seen on Pinterest in relation to werewolves, lol.)
(Moon drunk monster, beautiful and strange. Howl your melancholy question, and tell me, which do you dread more: the echo or the answer?)
(Sorry about taking so long to reply to this one. It was a combination of being swamped by life and rps, and a momentary lack of inspiration)
(I’ve seen that pic before)
Mardicos noticed how the snowstorm picked up, and the sight of the snow calmed him a bit. The fur faded from his arms, though his claws and icy blue eye remained. He rolled his eyes at Reyna, his anger turning into disdain.
“Moron is a good word, for both of you. And I am cursed, not infected. There is a difference. Also, you don’t know jack shit of what I can fucking do. You might be a fucking witch, but if there’s one thing I hate more than other lycanthropes, it’s witches. Trust me, I’ve fucked quite a few, and killed every single one of them,”Mardicos growled.
When Adam intervened, Mardicos huffed and took a single step forward.
“Fuck off, boy!”Mardicos snapped, his voice almost seeming to echo with power.
(You're good! I get it.)
(Really? I've seen it a few times over the past year, but never had any good reason to say anything about it until I joined here and made this place, lol.)
Reyna waves dismissively. "Cursed, infected. Different words, same meaning in this case. And I think I might, considering just how pissy you are. Generally, the more powerful the werewolf, the more pissy they are."
She snarls at the word "witch." "A witch I am not, asshole. I am a white wolf, thank you very fucking much, and I do not take kindly to being called a fucking witch."
Adam snarls, but doesn't back down, his tattoos gleaming like starlight on snow. "No, I don't think I will. It would leave you open for attack from the she-wolf nearby."
Reyna twitches her ears in annoyance. "She is not the issue here, boy, you are."
Vitara watched the scene in amusement, realizing quite early on that the three were werewolves, like herself. And while they technically hadn't stepped onto her territory, they were close enough that she decided to talk to them. If they fought they could scare off the scarce prey she relied on to survive.
Padding towards the group, she purposely stepped loudly, stopping a few yards away as she waited to see if they noticed her. Still in wolf form, she didn't give off the impression that she was a werewolf, until she spoke. "Not to sound rude, but could you three buzz off and fight somewhere else?" Her voice was only slightly louder than the wind of the snowstorm, but she was sure they could hear her. Wether or not they listened to her was yet to be seen
Reyna snorts and doesn't deign to turn to face the new were. "Fuck off. Nobody asked your opinion."
Adam smiles at Vitara, however, his tattoos still gleaming. "Join us. Not the fight, but our merry little group. We're stronger together."
Reyna growls. "I am not joining a pack that includes you."
(Shrug. I saw the pic a while back. I actually have it saved, just in case it inspires me or something like that)
A growl came from deep in Mardicos’ throat at Reyna’s words. His fingers flexed, anger coming back to his eyes.
“Witch. White wolf. Same fucking thing to me. Just like you and your ‘cursed and infected’. I was cursed by a fucking witch, not infected by another lycanthrope!”he snapped.
Mardicos huffed at Adam.
“You think I’m afraid of a fucking fight! I’ve lived through two, possibly three, fucking wars! I could fucking give a shit!”
Mardicos immediately turned when he heard the approach of another. Even though the she-wolf appeared only like a wolf, he could smell her lycanthropy through the storm.
“And why should you be of any significance?”he hissed at the she-wolf. His attention then turned back to Adam, a much louder growl coming from him.
“If you think I want anything to do with the three of you fucking children, then you are dumber than I fucking thought. And I already considered you a dumbass!”he snarled.
Vitara narrowed her eyes, though her tone was calm when she spoke to Adam. “I’ll think about it. Not now when a storm is picking up.”
Annoyed now at the arguing, she shifted her stance, scowling at the largest of the other werewolves. “This is my territory, dickwad. Go get pissy somewhere else, preferably where I don’t have to hear your temper tantrum.” She didn’t step any further forward, but her words were pointed at him, “You talk a lot about not wanting to do anything with these two, so leave. I hope you wander off and get lost in the snow.”
Mardicos huffed disdainfully at the she-wolf.
“I could give a shit if this is your territory. I pass through, never stay. And if you don’t want to hear me, go the fuck away. I’ll likely be gone before tomorrow,”he hissed.
He then hummed, glancing at the other two lycanthropes. When he turned back to the she-wolf, Mardicos snorted.
“That sounds like a brilliant idea actually. I wander anyway, and I enjoy snow. Just as long as you three fucking nuisances stay the fuck away from me, I won’t have any reason to linger,”he remarked.
Mardicos then turned and walked away, glaring at Reyna and Adam as he went.
Reyna growls, and a hurricane-force wind staggers everyone but her. Ice forms on the trees, and the distant sounds of cracking and shattering trees could be heard. She walks right up to Malcolm and backhands him, spraying a fine red mist of blood across snow that immediately gets covered up. "SHUT THE HELL UP."
She turns to Adam. "Nobody asked your opinion, child."
And finally, she turns to Vitara. "And as for you, this is not your fight. Leave us, or you will get dragged into something you don't want to be involved in."
"How about you leave me. This is my territory. You, like the pissy dog you were fighting with, can leave as well." Vitara snapped, shifting into her human form and pointing away from her land. A thick reddish cloak covered her from shoulder to toe, and her red hair blew violently in the staggering winds. "While you're at it, get control over your damn storm."
She couldn't give less of a damn if they truly stayed or not, but she wanted to be able to hunt tomorrow, and if they were fighting and making a ruckus, it was going to leave her with very sparse prey.
Mardicos managed to stay upright as the wind picked up, and he slowly continued onward. However, the moment Reyna slapped him, all thoughts of leaving peacefully left.
He reached up to wipe off the bit of blood on his lip, both of his eyes turning an icy blue. A deep feral growl came from his throat and he snatched Reyna by the throat, slamming her into a nearby tree.
“Bitch, do you realize how much you’ve fucked up? How hard it is to control…?”he hissed, his voice nearly unintelligible with his growling.
Somewhere deep in his enraged eyes, there was an internal battle going on, and the man was quickly losing to the wolf. He didn’t register any of Vitara’s words as he threw Reyna to the side.
He leaped after her, a high-pitched whine ripping through him as he rapidly morphed, his clothes shredding apart. When he landed, he was not a man but a wolf, and his jaws were flying for Reyna’s throat.
Reyna growls and knocks Mardicos away, slashing at him in return, heedless of the pain heading her way. All thoughts of the others left her as she tore at Mardicos with tooth, claw and ice, the vicious sounds of tearing flesh and high-pitched whines tearing through the valley.
Adam doesn't even try to intervene, watching alongside Vitara as the two furious wolves fight.
Vitara watched with nothing more than mild annoyance as the two wolves attacked, glancing towards the third with a roll of her eyes. "They're going to be busy for a while, I suppose?" She shook her head, answering her own question as she quickly shifted back to her wolf form, sitting down next to a nearby tree to watch the fight. It wasn't worth going back home, and watching them was more interesting.
Adam snorts, stalking over to Vitara.
"You honestly have no clue, hun. I literally just met them, but I know at this point that their tension is through the effing roof." he mutters.
"By the way, what's your name? I'm Adam. Adam Vear." he asks.
"Vitara Fall," She introduced herself, tipping her head in greeting, "Nice to meet you. Though I do have to ask…why are you and the others wandering through my stretch of the woods?" Vitara didn't look over at Adam, simply kept her eyes trained on the fight.
Dama nods. "Nice to meet you too, Vitara."
He snorts. "I honestly don't know. I lost my pack a while back, and have been following her-" he gestures to Reyna "-for a while. Didn't know she was a werewolf, though, until she shifted earlier."
He looks down at her. "What do you mean, these are your woods? True, your scent is everywhere, but it is very faint."
Mardicos wasn’t much fazed by Reyna knocking him to the side, and eagerly fought her, his massive paws and long fangs ripping through fur and flesh with ease. However, he didn’t move fast, an eerie calm settling over him despite the rage in his intense eyes.
Any wounds Reyna gave him were ignored, and he didn’t bother using any defensive tactics. Strangely, Reyna’s ice attacks didn’t seem to do much at all, though Mardicos was completely oblivious.
Reyna stays quiet after the first few blows, the fury of her attacks unabating, unflinching, uncaring. She's willing to bleed out to harm this asshole, to kill him. Any attacks Mardicos made were largely superficial, unable to get past the hard muscle in her. She uses the winds to buffet Mardicos, and ice to slash at his eyes, blinding him.
She doesn't bother blocking very many attacks, and eventually her rage turns to curiosity as she watches him flow from one attack to another. Her attacks lose no strength, though.
Adam sighs. What is wrong with these two? I sense a darkness within each, an inability to control the wolf.
Mardicos matched her fury, shifting his attacks to weaker spots to compensate for the surprising lack of deeper wounds. He had never encountered, nor fought, a wolf that was about equal, if not slightly larger, than himself. It was daunting in a way, even more so with her magical capabilities.
Though, the more she used the wind and ice on him, the angrier he got. Cold and wind didn’t bother him. Mardicos had grown up in the mountains, after all. But, having ice thrown at his eyes was fucking annoying, and stung like hell.
Eventually, Mardicos noticed her curiosity, and decided to take advantage of that. He abruptly leaped forward, snatching Reyna’s hind leg in his powerful jaws, and started dragging her around in fast sweeping arcs.
Reyna started getting more wounds, wherever her muscle didn't protect her as much, and her fury, renewed, exploded, nearly obliterating the surrounding area in snow and ice. But the area surrounding her and Mardicos cleared, the snow on the ground flung out of their way as they fight.
Reyna unintentionally yelps, the twists, catching the top of Mardicos's neack and shaking it like she would a rabbit.
Vitara huffs, glancing over at Adam. "This is going to be my new pack lands when I find others to become part of my pack. It's a little difficult to keep on top of all of my border maintenance, and the wind makes the scent travel which makes it weaker." She swayed slightly as the winds picked up but didn't move from where she sat. The fighting didn't seem to be slowing at all, and she wondered how much longer the two of them would bat at each other before they got bored.
