She also tends to avoid people (and human contact) because of her gift. She uses it., sure, but she would rather not as it's a lot of information at once.

Val danced her way down the main street of the town, humming as she went. She twirled not afraid of her skirt lifting a bit to show off her calves, especially not in front of Mateo, the cutest guy she'd ever seen in her entire existence in the Encanto.

Cynthia walked down the streets of town on her way to deliver a package to the Madrigals. She did this quite often but as she would walk by she saw Valentina twirling down the streets. She did that a lot. Cynthia continued dow. The main road to the Casa Madrigal.

Luna knew she should join her family down in town, she just… Was running late! Yeah, that was her issue, she just overslept and missed breakfast. Despite the fact, her mama made sure she was awake… She ignored that part and after checking her gloves were firmly on she began to make her way down to the town spotting Cynthia on the way. Maybe she could make her life easier? No. That was a bad idea, she had things to do.

Gift/Room: Dream Manipulation / Her room is filled with various things that help her relax, and the ceiling is covered in constellations that shift every night.
Appearance: Standing at 5'2, Kat has long, dark brown hair, deep green eyes, and freckles across her nose and cheeks. (The picrew didn't have freckles)
Clothes: Black shoes, and a sleevless pale purple dress fading to a deep indigo, embroidered with white stars.
Personality: Kat doesn't talk much. She's not shy, she just doesn't speak unless she feels the need to say something. She is very stubborn, and isn't one to back down from a challenge. She's a good listener, and is very compassionate, though she often comes off as cold or indifferent. She tries to hide her emotions, not wanting her family to worry about her.
Likes: Reading, playing music, singing, art, animals, storms(she finds the sound of rain calming), Bruno's rat novellas
Dislikes: Large crowds, parties

Cynthia spotted Luna Madrigal. She smiled and waved. She wasn't relatively close with any of the Madrigals but she was still very fond of them. As she waved she almost dropped the package. great job Cynthia a delivery for THE MADRIGALS and you almost screw it up be more careful

Eventually, Val decided to make her way back to Casa Madrigal. She skipped through the doorway smiling at the others. Since no one in the house was giving off negative energy, Val was in a good mood as she headed to her room. She noticed a spike of fear from someone, and she whipped around to see a girl delivering something. "Oh, can I help you?" she asked, practically skating over to her thanks to the floor of Casita.

Kat stepped out of her room, immediately recognizing her sister's voice. She looked over the balcony, her gaze landing on a girl carrying a large box. Val seemed to have it handled, so Kat opted to make her way into the kitchen instead of joining the conversation. Maybe she could snag some leftover arepas.
(Forgot to mention that Kat loves Bruno's rat novellas)

Luna waved back and hesitated as she debated helping the girl. She bit her lip and debated helping and eventually she moved slightly towards the girl. Then her prima came to the scene and Luna figured she had it covered. But she should stand by, just in case.

Gift/Room: “Time travel”. What really happens is he transports himself to an alternate universe that is either ahead or behind of the one he is currently in, but that’s a lot harder to explain than just saying “time travel”. / His room is always either very clean or very messy. He arranges things in very particular ways, and even the smallest change in the layout of his room throws him into a panic. He is incredibly observant.

Appearance: 5’6”, black hair falling to his ears, dark brown eyes, hands that are always in bad shape due to him biting his nails.

Clothes: a plain white tunic under a plain black sweater, and three wristwatches on each arm. Don’t ask him why. He won’t answer.

Personality: On the outside, he seems very blunt and distant, but the truth is; he is incredibly paranoid due to his gift. He’s afraid that when he uses it, he’ll end up in a universe where no one remembers him, or where someone he loves doesn’t exist. He’s pretty distant from the rest of the family, as he believes that if he doesn’t get attached, he won’t be as hurt if they disappear. He craves comfort, but is terrified of loving. He probably inherited quite a bit of Bruno’s mental illness, to be honest. He requires constant reassurance that the people around him are real, and are the same people they were the day before.

Likes: the sound of static, his tape recorder, physical affection, soft textures, making things, sewing plush dolls, a stuffed tiger Mirabel gave him as a little kid

Dislikes: loud noises, his gift, feeling alone, the feeling that the people he loves are complete strangers, when food is too hot and it burns his mouth
