Kaito kept his arms wrapped tightly around Shuichi as he slept. He wanted the other to remain close to him.

shuichi smiled, nuzzling into the others chest

After a few minutes, Kaito opened his eyes. Sure he had only gotten a few hours of sleep, but he was awake now..

shuichi rubbed the others side.

Kaito looked at Shuichi before yawning. He was otherwise silent, having been exhausted by the time he fell asleep and then only getting about three hours of sleep.

" you should get some more sleep love.."

"I know… I just can't sleep…" His tone was lacking its usual energy, his voice in general lacking its usual high volume, but that was to be expected. "Since I'm awake…" he yawned again, "how are you feeling…?"

" better, " he said

"That's good.." He smiled ever so slightly. It was still rather clear that he was lacking in energy, though..

shuichi ran his fingers through the others hair. " please, "

"I can try…" He yawned, pulling the other closer to him as he closed his eyes. Despite everything, he just couldn't get himself to sleep…

shuichi hummed softly.

After a few minutes, Kaito simply gave up. "Nope…" He sat up, sighing.

"sorry.." shuichi said softly

"It's not you.." He looked at the other, trying to reassure him. "I'm just exhausted.. I dunno why…"

" maybe because you dont sleep."

"Usually I get sleep…and it's not like I haven't recently.. Aside from when I first brought you here and last night, I was asleep every time you were.." He sighed. "I can't sleep at the moment, anyway… I tried…"

he sighed and nuzzled into the other.

Kaito sighed and wrapped his arms around the other once more. After a couple of minutes, he stopped and stood up. "May as well do things if sleep isn't an option.."

shuichi stood as well yawning softly

"So…what should we do today…" He yawned once more and stretched, trying to wake himself up a bit, but to no avail.

" im not sure"

"You wanna get some breakfast…? We can go from there.." His tone was still lacking in its usual energy. In fact, the amount of energy in it was only decreasing.

" sure, but be careful you sound exhausted." he said with a bit of worry.

He gave the other a slight smile in an attempt to reassure him, but it was clearly forced. "I'll be fine.."

shuichi diddnt fall for his act. " kaito." he said sternly

The smile faded away. To him, it was worth a shot, though he knew Shuichi would see right through it. "Yeah, Shuichi?"

" you know i dont like fighting about this, " he said, " please. dont over do it."

"Shuichi…I just suggested we go out for breakfast…" He sighed. "I don't think that's overdoing it.." He was trying to reassure the other, not argue with him.

shuichi sighed " fine. but then you home back home and lay down. promise?"
