(I'm so sorry! Still here!)
"Kona, let them be." Suni ordered, glaring a smaller male with fluffy white hair. The kutsuni growled back but stalked off to the side along with few others. Suni emerged from the back of the crowd, tails flicking back and forth in annoyance. "So you followed me home, Kagashima. All for a file. You do know this is trespassing right? Even after I've done no harm to you. You even hurt my brothers." He cooed, leaning forwards and trailing a hand along Cyrus' jaw. He glanced up as one of men came back with an electric shredder and the file. "I don't even care what's in the file, honestly. And after finding out you attacked a few of our own, I don't think our higher up will care either." He laughed softly and nodded to the kitsune holding the file.
"don't!" He yelped, glaring at the fox. " Don't fucking touch me.." he mumbled only to the fox. His cold blue eyes watched to other " don't shred that file."
Suni raised a hand, stopping the Kitsuni from sending the orange envelope through the shredder. He gave a wicked grin and tilted his head. "I'll do whatever I please, dog. After all, you've done nothing to gain my compliance. But I'll be nice." He took a step back and took the file from.the other fox, flipping it over in his hand to examine it further. "What's it to you?" He asked, voice soft and his gaze traveled over the man in front of him. "What's in here that's so damn important that you're willing to hurt my family." A low growl rose in sini's voice as he handed the file back to the fox near the shredder.
" it's my fucking heritage! It's got the fucking answers I'm after and why I'm so much like a fucking dog! I'm tired of asking a fucking god for nothing but silence!" He snapped. He barred canine like teeth when he growled, sharp and white. " I was born like this for a fucking reason, I just wanna know. Don't believe me the name of the file is kyro kagashima" he seemed to resemble the young boys photo on the envelope. " im so damn tired of my clan lying to me"
Suni shrugged "so why stay with your clan? You seem capable enough to fend for yourself." He mused, tails flickering behind him. He tilted his head and flicked hand, motioning for everyone but the fox with the file to leave. "Or maybe you aren't. Does your clan really have that much of a hold over you that youre scared if leaving?" Suni chuckled lightly and shook his head, taking the fine and waving away the fox. "You humans and half breeds will forever confuse and intrigue me."
“ my clan has no hold over me. Their the only family I’ve ever know. I’m not weak enough to depend on them and they are not weak enough to use me as a crutch. “ he snarled. He’d shown no sign of it but he’d been slowly cutting the rope that bound his hands with the bracelet he’d been wearing.
(Don't worry still here! :D)
Suni cocked his head sharply, a snickering laugh escaping him. “Oh really? And yet you claim that your so called family has been keeping you in the dark about what you are. Why would they do that, hm? Keep a secret so integral to you personally.” He inquiries, hover the file over the machine, ready to drop it in. “Why would you need this when your family knows?”
“I-“ kyro froze for a minute, thinking a bit. “ I don’t know why they told me to find the file, I don’t even think they know about me. All they’ve ever said is I was a foundling and the last thing they seen of my mother was the tall tail sign of a wolf bred thingy like you. “
Sunil glared at Kyro, teeth bared slightly. "We are nothing like you." He growled, standing aside and shoving aside the shredder. He strode towards Kyro and crouched down in front of him, close enough so that he would only hear. "I'll let you have the file. On one condition." He said sweetly, even giving Kyro a winning smile
“ and that would be?” He growled back, showing his teeth. Now that the other was closer, the wolf like resemblances were clearer. His mother just have may well been a wolf
"ooh goodie, I do love a compliant dog." He teased, standing and wandering around the room. "It really is simple. We don't need much. All I need is an extra body. After all, you sorta demobilized one our own for what's going to look like a while. While they recover, I want you to work with us. Of course not join our clan, but simply to give us information. Anything that mind put our kitsune in danger. I don't want your in depth plans or anything. If it involves my people, I want to know." He crossed his arms over his chest and watch Kyro for a moment, a ghost of a smile crossing his features. "We are mostly peaceful beings. Yes we love having our fun but what harm can a few tricks do." He winked and nodded his head to kyro. "You're more than welcome to stand. What's the point in being uncomfortable?" He waved the file in front of him "so do we have a deal?"
“ I stand by your side. Loyal until a bullet hits my head.” He muttered softly and flushed a bit at the comment of a compliant dog. He grabbed the scroll from the fox, he wouldn’t read it until he was compleatly alone.
Suni stepped back as Kyro snatched the file away. "I don't care much for loyalty coming from humans. If any harm comes to those under my care from your clan, I'll immediately assume it was because of your witholding of information. Then and only then will you find yourself with much more than just a bullet through your skull." He replied plainly, lime green eyes aglow in the dim lighting if the basement. Suni waved to Kyro as he turned towards the stairs leading to the main house. Not suni's own but one where all the kitsune mingled with each other and relaxed. "Now if you'll excuse me, I must tend to those you hurt. You're free to leave any time you'd like. I suggest not hanging around too long though, some foxes won't be happy finding a hound among their kind, especially after what you did. I expect a report every month. If it seems like an urgent matter, then I expect a response immediately."
Kyro rolled his eyes, walking among the foxes to the door. His scars along his back ached from the cold. He’d always had a large line of a scar along his back and at least one on the side of his head, never really remembering where he got them. Kyro always chalked it up to short term memory. Kyro sat outside on the porch, he looked deep in thought. This papers stated that he’d been born with his mothers features, but he had always been human. His mothers family tree was there, plain as day. She was a pure wolf breed. His fathers info had apparently been lost as he hadn’t found it yet. Kyro subconsciously rubbed his scar on his head as he read. Chunks of memory was missing. What the hell happened?
Suni didn't waste time watching if Kyro had left or not. He immediately went to the spare bedrooms the kitsune used as resting places or for whenever they were suck or injured. He knocked softly, only opening the door when he was met with a soft 'come in.' Suni slowly entered, shut the door behind them and settled beside Kona. "I'm sorry," he whispered, looking at Kona's older brother resting in the bed. "I should have given the file straight to Saskia instead of keeping it at home." He ground his teeth and swallowed hard, guilt boiling inside him. He didn't bother with excuses, knowing it genuinely was his fault that Kona's brother had been hurt by Kyro.
Kona lightly rested his head against suni's arm. "You know how impulsive Harrow gets. He'll be alright."
Suni's smiled softly at the young fox. They both glanced up at the sound of movement. "I'm impulsive?" Harrow questioned, playfully glaring between the two. "You egged me on to go fight the hound," he nodded his head towards his little brother, "and you were number enough to keep the file with you while you slept." He nodded towards suni.
"Alright, to be fair, I don't think straight when is was just doused in water, okay?" Suni argued, pouting softly. He took a look over Harrow and sighed softly. "But you are right, I am dumb. I even let the dog come back every month."
Kyro, feeling disappointed that he couldn’t figure out his heritage, went to go find suni. He was told where to go and was even let in by a larger fox. He stood silently and waited for the convo to finish. “ you can have it back. Do whatever, is wasn’t even a help. I’ll hold up my end of the deal though, just so you know, there’s going to be a raid of this place in a week. I just saw the silver sparrow. “
Kona shifted immediately and hopped up onto his brother's bed, baring his teeth at Kyro, intent on protecting his older brother. Suni stood, standing in front of the two fixes, holding out a hand to stop Kona from freely exacting revenge on the hound that had hurt his brother. Suni threw a glare at the older fox by the door and waved a hand at him, dismissing his presence. "Let's talk somewhere else." He sternly insisted, shoving Jyro out of the room and guiding him to the empty sunroom, mind racing with the sheer amount of information Kyro had just told him. He snatched the file and opened it tononpy find a single sheet of paper. Vague information could be found, honestly something you could find on a typical birth certificate and family tree. "And you attacked my kitsune just for this." He muttered, tossing it on a nearby table and crossing his arms over his chest. He tilted his head animalistically and glanced towards the window displaying the forest beyond the home. "And the silver sparrow is important because?"he asked, mind already racing with escape routes and headcounrs for the younger kitsune in their care.
" silver sparrow is a kill order. It's a legal signal for the opposing clan that we've come for blood. They think I've betrayed them I'm sure of it. If it helps I'll stay behind and hold them back. " He said, kyro acknowledged his first question " I was told that my answers would be in there but their not and it honestly makes me wonder if I'll ever find home." He said with a bit of pure sadness, the hound turned his head to look out the window, his scar facing the fox. He sighed " you should start with the wounded frost, then the healthy surrounding the weak, they can't break a formation like that. That's the only time we've ever gotten beat. "
Suni shook his head and let out a frustrated snarl, flames sparking at his fingertips and he rakes them through his hair. "Why would they have any reason to attack us though? We have nothing to do with your clan other than the file. You even said it yourself you didn't find anything." He placed the small sunroom and took a deep breath. "You're right." He muttered, glancing over at Kyro for a moment, taking in the scar then swishing his tail. "If you really are willing to help, then you can start off by guiding the children to the back of the house while I help everyone else with the sick. Thankfully there's not that many, other than Lian and Grislin." He huffed a small sigh, sending a small prayer to their nine-tailed spirits that they'd have no more than just those two injured by the end of this. "If you'd rather save yourself, then there's a path towards the east that'll get you out of the forest much faster. It'll take you straight to the inner city
Kyro nodded immediately going for the children. He eventually found them " lets get going you two, there's something your parents have to do and you can't be here okay?" He said and raced them outa the house, once he was outside he paused for a minute, sitting and listening to the dead silence. He looked up to suni and nodded, taking off as fast as the kids could go.
Sunil bolted off towards the the sick and injured. When he reached Kona's and Harrow's room, he ordered Kona to go protect the kids and to watch for Kyro while he helped Harrow out of bed. He looked his arm around the male kitsune's waist and hauled him out of bed. He ordered another fox to help the other injured individual and to meet them by the back entrance. Once he made sure everyone was out of the house, Suni shifted into his animal form and started leading them deeper into the forest, trying his best to quicken their pace but the as cared children and injured foxes were making that harder.
" hard left!" Kyro yelled as he caught the sent of his clan. The wolf like male jumped up onto a tree and bounced off the side. It was then and only then did the bullet caught in his arm “ fuck!” He yelped out, he’d taken the bullet aimed for suni…
( aye I changed my reply o.o just wanted to let you know)
(ok! And really quick sorry for the slow responses, I'm way behind on other RPS and busy with finals atm so replied might be a bit late.)
Suni quickly banked left, not even second guessing Kyro's orders as they guided the clan to safety. He picked up the pace as they were met with a flat stretch of land, hoping that the rest of his kitsune picked up on the pace change and decided to let the kids and injured ride. Suni snapped his eyes up and barely had enough time to react as he kyro lunged at his side, not to attack, but to block a bullet, one that would have surly immobilize him, if not kill him if he were hit in the heart. He let out a strangled bark as he tore himself away from his clan, the instinctual feeling to do anything but leave then without a leader screaming at him to leave the neucance of a wolf behind to be felt with by his own clan. Instead he quickly barked an order to a passing kitsune to get the clan to safety while he felt with the attacking clan and to help Kyro. He glared at the treeline, searching for anyone before shifting back to normal and looping an arm around kyro's mid section. "Start bending blood, hound." He growled out as he started guiding Kyro forwards, not back to the clan but on a different direction so that the scent of blood wouldn't trace the other clan back to his kitsune
Kyro gave a soft whine when he was picked up “ fucking bloody hell..” he mumbled as he tried to focus on bending it back into his body. He was failing horribly as the pain was over taking. “ why didn’t you follow your pack. “
"would you rather I leave you to die? I'm more than willing to drop you here and now." Suni growled, glancing behind him and breathing a small sigh if relief at not seeing anymore rival clan members. "Sir." He ordered, slowly setting Kyro down against a small rocky alcove. He knelt down beside the other make and gently lifted the shirt sleeve, barely flinching at the sight of blood. He cursed under his breath tore a piece of his shirt to slow the blood flow and hopefully clot the area. "Why did you take the bullet." He asked softly, his fox ears flicking to catch an sound surrounding them. "Thank you by the way, for taking the bullet and for help my clan."
