Kaz stood still, not quite knowing what to do. "Hey, not armed, see?" he said, patting his pockets to show that they were more or less all empty. "Do you need some help?"

"If I did I wouldnt tell you." She snaps

Some rather loud shouting woke Grey. She quickly pushed herself to her feet, unsure how long she spent laying there. She continued to walk in the direction of very loud and angry voices.

(Pretending Kaden was there all along)
Kaden cleared his throat and leaned in towards the male he was with. "I'm, I am armed." He muttered.

"I heard that!" She grabs a poll and back up more down the street

(that works lol) Kaz glanced over at him, not moving. "Just…Just pretend you aren't," he said quietly

"What the hell…?" She had walked into a group of (four?) people facing one another. Saying something about arms. She glanced around, hoping they weren't cannibals or had any weapons on them.

Tezia yelps loudly as a girl joins them, she holds the pole out infront of her, "Stay back!"

Kaz sighed. "Okay, that's not gonna work I guess. Look, we're not gonna hurt you."

Malachi shifts in Tezia's arms, shouting snapping him back into reality.

"Woah hey!" Grey jumped back and quickly summoned a wooden half-spear from her mind marble. It floated in the air above her head. "I just wandered over because I was curious and disoriented. I just wanna get home, alright?"

Tezia backs up into a corner, "Shit…"

"Is this the second route from Bertha Drive?" She asked warily as her spear slowly disappeared back into her mind marble.

Malachi squeezed his eyes shut, worried that the shouting was from a patrol looking for them. His mind was conflicted on wiggling out of Tezia's grasp, or to stay how he was, terrified of the people from the labs.

He kept whispering to himself "No more, no more."

Tezia was terrified, her back pressed to the corner. She looks down at the kid and her hand tightens around him, "Dont worry… I wont let anything happen to you"

(yeah lol) Kaz scowled at the person with the spear. "Put that away, no one's hurting anyone!"

Kaden had his switchblade out when the newcomer arrived. He didn't trust any of them, not even the kid.

Grey stepped backward, unsure of what to do. The spear retreated back into her mindscape, her "marble". She seemed to frighten the poor boy. She attempted a different approach, keeping her hands out and bending lower, trying to make herself seem less threatening. "Sorry, sorry. Instant reaction."

Tezia lowers down to a crouch slightly, dopping the pole but holds the boy close

Kaz scowled. "Okay, anyone who's got weapons, put them on the ground. We're not gonna have a standoff, especially when the lab is right around the block."

Kaden scoffed. "No way in hell am I putting my knife. The only reason I'm still alive is that I haven't put it down."

Kaz whipped around. "Put the knife down, or I'll deep fry you," he hissed. Suddenly, bright searchlights illuminated the street. He looked up, where a helicopter's searchlights were focused on them. "Shit!" he yelled

"Definitely not putting down now." He growled.

Tezia shreiks, "You led them here!" She stands and looks around for an escape, the boy still in her arms

"What in the world is going on?!" Grey yelled at the two boys, squinting through the harsh lights. "Can I get my weapon back out again?"

Malachi opened his eyes to see the bright lights, only to shut them again, terrified.

"Alright, if no one will listen to me, FINE!" Kaz shouted. He looked up at the helicopter, his eyes going dark. He held out his hand, and violet lightning struck the helicopter. It spluttered, falling off to the side. More vans seemed to be arriving though, and Kaz snarled. "Follow me if you want to live."

Malachi opened his eyes to see the bright lights, only to shut them again, terrified.

"Shh… Its ok." Tezia tries to comfort him, using her body to block him from the light as best she could
(Tezia just basically adopted him… Oops)
