She just awkwardly stayed there, hiding her face in her hands. "Well! Looks like no ones gonna answer the door! S-so might as well!" She began to walk off, embarrassed.
'Please, please, please don't kill me.' She thought, afraid to look back.
(Answers door. Walks off because no one answered door)
"What's your name?" He asked both Valorie and the lady at the door
Wren paused, before squeaking and falling down the steps. 'THUD, THUD, THUD, ANNNND THUD' She hit her head on the last step, before groaning and getting up, walking in with a toothy grin, revealing her pointed teeth. "Um- Ow- And the names Wren?-"
"I-I'm… Valorie…" she replied to Vorzeal, her voice becoming less shaky as she became acquainted with these kind folk that are now helping her. Her smile became more and more genuine.
Wren paused, feeling more awkward than she ever been. "Well- I was just wondering…" She asked, her voice cold.
"Who the heck forgot to put a nail in the last stair?!" She yelped, rubbing the back of her head with a huff.
Then, she realized that she had yelled and got embarrassed. "I- Well- i mean-"
"…Sorry." She said, awkwardly
"What type of tea you want?" He asked
(;-; wow, wren's just awkwardly breaking and entering lmao-)
Wren looked around, embarrassed as she found a closet, and hid in it. "Safe. My safe, sad place."
Valorie just sat there, quiet. She didn't want to make more of a scene than she already had. She lifted her finger towards the bottom of her ear, feeling a spot where a earring had been but then was torn out. She felt the cold brush of blood flowing down and gasped quietly, trying not to draw attention. As the blood rolled down against her dark skin, she felt the sudden need to cry again. Why? No idea.
"Okay then…" He said, not shocked
"What's wrong Valorie?" He asked, hearing her gasp
Wren heard the girl cry and paused, getting out and looking at her, tilting her head. "Are you okay?" She asked, worriedly. She always had a thing for other people who are hurt, whether if they're strangers, or animals.
Valorie shook her head and covered her ear, trying to stop the blood from seeping onto the fancy-looking fabric of the couch. "I-I'm fine…" she said, and then she felt the blood coming out through the cracks between her fingers. "O-Oh no…" she whimpered.
Spector sees the blood and sucks in air through their teeth. "Oh, damn, yikes, uh. I don't have anything on me." They get up and start looking through the house. "Hey, stretch, got any bandages or herbs or whatever?" The begin opening drawers hap hazardously and sifting through the contents.
Wren walked away, and out the door, her hands up. "Okay, this is when I leave, and never enter again." She muttered, before running into the door and pausing. "Wow- Good job."
He began to heal every wound of Valorie's with his healing magic, not with bandages and such
Valorie felt the blood stop running, and she also felt the pain from her covered and uncovered wounds go away. A big smile spread across her face, and she jumped up and hugged Vorzeal. "T-thank you, sir!" Valorie knew this man's name, but she had been taught to call male strangers 'sir,' even if she knows their names.
"No problem. And drop the honorific, please. What type of tea did you ask for?"
(Wren then had jumped off a cliff, not knowing what to type here because that's the way us awkward beings are-)
"O-okay… And tea type doesn't m-matter to me, so whatever you choose I g-g-guess…" Valorie let go of Vorzeal, hands shaking yet again.
Peppermint skipped up to the house, knocking on the door three times. The girl couldn't be older than eight, and her hair was white with pink swirls. She held a pink-and-white swirled lollipop, and her dress was pink and white as well, matching her hair and lollipop. She had round, rosy cheeks, dotted with freckles, and large, pink eyes. "Hello!" She trilled.
(Zozreal lol)
"Black sweet tea it is then…" he said, making it
He answered the door yet again.
"Hello?" He said, not noticing peppermint
Wren walked around, her hands stuffed in her pockets before noticing a tall figure approch her, and step on the short girl. She hissed, biting their leg harshly as they huffed, picking her up. "Your short for your age-"
"Wait, Wren?! Oh my God, it's been so long!" The figure said, hugging her as she growled. "Kastu!! Let me go!" She growled as he smirked, his blue eyes glistening. "Nope."
Peppermint looked up at the man, waving cheerfully. "You're really tall, mister!" She skipped inside the house without permission, and ended up in the room with everybody else, and sat herself down on a couch, looking around at the room's occupants.
Valorie smiled halfheartedly, and she sat back down on the couch. She began to hum quietly.
