Arien made his way to Rafael, taking the man's hand.
"That would be fun, I'd enjoy it tomorrow." Arien let out a happy hum, kissing Rafael's cheek as they sat down.

His smile widened as he sat down, happily beginning to eat. He hummed in content. “Well the food’s amazing as always.”

Airen chuckled some.
"I'm glad you like it! It means a lot to me that you do." Arien hummed some, eating as well.

“Good! As you can most definitely tell…I’m a very very very professional and totally real food critic. You should greatly value my praise.” He said, nodding with mock seriousness.

"Mm, yes. Tell me, if I opened a restaurant would I get a Michelin star?" Arien laughed softly, taking a bit of his food.

“Ah yes most definitely good sir.” He said, finally breaking character and laughing as well, continuing to smile as he ate.

Arien burst out laughing, hugging Rafael for a moment.
"I love you," he said, giggling.

Rafael wrapped an arm around Arien in return, kissing his forehead. “I love you too. But we mustn’t tell the other food critics or they’ll think I’m biased towards your food.” He added on jokingly.

Arien mock gasped.
"Oh no! They'll take my star away!" He laughed, kissing Rafael's cheek in turn.

Rafael laughed again, leaning into the contact, a peaceful smile on his face as he nuzzled against Arien’s cheek. “Don’t worry darling, I won’t let them take your star away.”

"Mm…" Arien leaned into Rafael in turn, taking one hand in his own.
"Of course. After all, you're my star~"

“Well then I really hope they don’t try and take your star.” He chuckled softly, bringing their linked hands up and brushing a kiss across Arien’s knuckles.

"I won't ever let it happen," Arien said, voice so soft. Never, ever again. He blushed at the kiss, leaning forward to kiss Rafael's cheek.

“Good. I think I’ve been kidnapped by strangers enough for one lifetime.” He said jokingly. But truly…if he’d never been kidnapped by Arien, he never would’ve fallen in love with him. Still that wasn’t necessarily a socially appropriate story to tell anyone who asked how they’d met.

"Mm… Good. I'd get jealous if you let anyone else…" Arien did feel bad about that still, but he was content to be in love.

“Yes I will not allow anyone else to kidnap me ever again.” He laughed softly. “Well at least you can rest assured that I’d never get kidnapped by another human, I’m strong enough to fight them off.”

"Good…" Arien laughed a bit at his own words, nuzzling close.
"I don't want you to be taken away ever again…"

“I don’t plan on letting that happen. Plus it’s not like I’m going to be away from you long enough for it to happen anyway.” He kissed Arien’s cheek.

"I'm glad." Arien smiled just some, hugging Rafael again. He didn't bring up how the last incident had happened while they were cuddling…

At the back of his mind, Rafael couldn’t help but wonder what had happened to Elliot. He hadn’t really thought about it, everything had happened so fast.

Arien pulled away after a moment to continue eating, his head still resting on Rafael's shoulder. All the vampire knew was no one had heard from the witch.

Rafael kept one arm wrapped around Arien as he continued to eat his food. He paused with a smile gently kissing Arien’s cheek.

Airen leaned into the kiss, grinning.
"This is really nice," the vampire said. "I love spending time with you like this…"

“I’d be upset if you didn’t.” He replied with a teasing grin. “But you’re right…..this is really nice.” Their whole relationship somehow felt domestic in a way he really enjoyed.

"It is! I never thought I would get to have something like this, but I wouldn't give it up for the world." Arien smiled, nuzzling into Rafael just a touch.

“Me neither.” He said, his smile softening. He still felt butterflies in his stomach whenever Arien moved closer. He loved it. He loved being in love.

Arien hummed softly, resting his head in Rafael's neck.
"I love you…"

“I love you too. More than all the stars in the sky.” He hummed out, his hand moving from Arien’s shoulder to the side of his head.
