“It is, isn’t it? Not too hot, not too cold. Just right. But you know what the nicest part is? That I get to spend it with you.” He smiled.

Arien blushed furiously, pushing his face into Rafael's shoulder.
"Damn right it is…" he mumbled.

Rafael giggled. “Awwww is someone blushing?” He asked teasingly, poking Arien gently.

"Hnnn…. no..?" Arien giggled some at his own weak lie.

“Hmmm I dunno…” he put a hand on Arien’s cheek. “You feel like you’re blushing to me, darling.”

"W-Well… m-maybe a li-ittle…" Arien giggled halfway through the last word, nuzzling close as they walked.

“Mhm that’s what I thought.” He replied, beginning to laugh as well. After a few more moments he fell silent, just enjoying the sounds of the outdoors.

Arien fell into silence as well. He… the night was so beautiful. He wished Rafael could see it with him.

Rafael wished for that too, more than anything. He hoped that Arien was right, and that he’d be making a full recovery soon.

Arien let out a sweet hum, a smile coming back to his lips.
"I love you…"

“I love you too Arien.” He replied with a sweet smile.

Arien grinned, leaning over to kiss Rafael's cheek.
"Well, we're at the park," the man said after they finished walking.

“Ooh really? Already? That was fast.” He said, leaning into the kiss with a happy smile.

"Well, time flies when I'm with you." Arien giggled a bit.

“Ooh well aren’t you smooth.” He chuckled, nudging Arien with his shoulder jokingly.

"Smooth as a fresh jar of Skippy." Arien laughed at himself, nudging back.

Rafael laughed along with him. “Congrats, you actually do know some references from the past ten years…I’m proud of you.”

"Hmph!" Arien huffed, crossing his arms in mock insult.

“I’m sorryyyyy. You know I love you, don’t be mad.”

"Mmm…" Arien held back a giggle, leaning into Rafael.

Rafael wrapped an arm around his shoulder, humming softly.

Arien giggled a bit, leaning up to kiss Rafael's cheek.

Rafael leaned into the kids, giggling softly. “Thank youuu”

"Mmmm… butthead." Arien laughed some, wrapping an arm around Rafael in a side hug.

He gasped dramatically. “I’m not a butthead! You’re a butthead, butthead.”

"Nuh-uh! You're the buttheads, the biggest of them." Arien giggled, poking Rafael's side lightly.

“I’m the biggest butthead?? That’s so mean!!” He whined, pouting dramatically, hoping it’d cause Arien to pay even more attention to him.

"Aww, sweetieee!!" Arien wrapped his arms around Rafael, hugging him close.
"Is it so bad you've got a nice ass?" the vampire mumbled into the man's shirt.

Rafael felt his face heat up. “Haha ummm what’d you just say babe?” He asked, definitely flustered.

Arien looked up when he realized the effect he'd had on Rafael, his own blush growing.
"I- I said you got a nice ass, Raf," Arien said, smirking just a bit as his face turned beet red.
