“I’m sorry for snapping at you.” He said softly, feeling bad about it now that he had the time to re-evaluate his actions.

"It's… It's okay, Rafael. I know you're going through a lot right now." Arien rested his hand on his own face, taking in a soft breath. He felt light headed- he'd need to eat tonight, no matter what.

He nodded. “Are you okay?” He asked, his brow furrowing slightly. Thinking through it, he’d realize that Arien probably hadn’t eaten since he’d got hurt. “Shit..when was the last time you ate??” He asked, his voice full of concern.

"It's fine," Arien said, not answering the question. "I'll be able to find someone when we go get you to the healer." He wasn't going to feed off of reading, not when he was hurt.

“You should’ve just left and found someone while I was asleep last night instead instead of suffering through it, dumbass.” He scowled, leaning forward and managing to solidly flick him in the forehead. “It’s sweet that you stayed but also incredibly stupid that you didn’t take care of yourself.”

Arien let out a soft squeak of surprise.
"Sorry, I just wanted to make sure you were okay," he mumbled, hiding his face to cover his blush, even in Rafael couldn't see it.

“I slept for like 12 hours dude! You had plenty of time to be out and about and still be there when I woke up. And like I said before, it’s really sweet that you wanted to make sure I was fine but you need to take care of yourself too.” He ended up just mumbling the last part, a small blush appearing on his own face.

"I'll make sure not to do it again, then." Arien peeked out, blushing more when he saw Rafael's. It was so confusing, these feelings.

He nodded. “Good..” he mumbled, now extremely embarrassed by his little outburst.

Arien shifted a bit, hands under his head. He couldn't help but Google a bit, looking away with a blush.

Rafael flopped down onto the bed, trying to hide what he knew was an increasingly growing blush.

Arien covered his face again, letting out another nervous chuckle.
"We're both messes, aren't we…" Arien knew his face was as red as it could get, with how little blood he had at the moment.

“Oh yeah most definitely.” Rafael replied, his response coming out muffled since he’d essentially face planted into the bed.

Arien flopped down next to Rafael, laughing a bit. He was glad the mood had lightened for the time being. Arien smiled, looking over at Rafael.

Rafael smiled softly, wrapping his arms around Arien. “So we still have at least a few hours until dark right? What should we do until then?”

Arien wrapped his arms around Rafael in turn.
"Yeah, we do. Hmm…" Arien usually didn't stay up all day like this, so he didn't really know.

“Could always just go put on a movie. I’ll be fine with just listening.” He offered, carefully resting his chin on top of Arien’s head.

Arien smiled softly.
"We could always put on descriptive audio, if you want." Arien snuggled close, letting out a soft breath.

“That’s true we could do that.” He replied, his grip tightening on Arien slightly. His smile widened.

Arien glanced up at Rafael from under his chin, glad to see him smiling like that. He let out a happy hum, giving Rafael a quick hug.

“What was that for?” He asked with a soft chuckle, another blush brightening his face. Being with Arien made him so much..calmer.

"I don't know," Arien admitted. "It just felt right." Arien smiled, resting his head on Rafael's chest again.

He chuckled softly. “Okay then.” He ran a gentle hand through Arien’s hand, a gentle smile on his face.

Arien smiled a bit more at that. He leaned into Rafael's hand, eyes half closing.
"Feels good…" He mumbled.

His smile widened. “Good..” he continued the motion, beginning to him softly as well.

Arien closed his eyes entirely, relaxing fully in Rafael's arms. This was much, much nicer than what they'd been going through before.

He could feel it when Arien relaxed completely, it made him happy, that he could soothe the other so easily. Rafael would wait to see if he’d fall asleep completely.

Arien was exhausted, after staying up all day. He struggled to stay awake, knowing it'd be night soon and he could get Rafael to a healer, he could eat. Still, he slowly relaxed more, letting out a faint breath as his eyes closed fully.

Rafael stayed still and stayed quiet. Finally, when he thought Arien was asleep, he double checked, shifting a bit. “Arien? You still awake?” He whispered quietly, not sure if Arien would be able to hear him.

There was no response from Arien- he was either asleep, or too close to it to bother responding.
