Melissa sighed weakly, leaning over into the kiss. "You're not though…" She mumbled, giving him a slight pout. "You're doing a lot better, now that you've gotten the hang of it."
Melissa sighed weakly, leaning over into the kiss. "You're not though…" She mumbled, giving him a slight pout. "You're doing a lot better, now that you've gotten the hang of it."
"I guess so… I'm nowhere near good, though. I'm just… slowly becoming somewhat competent."
"Which eventually leads to good." Melissa huffed, looking over to him. "So you're nearing good."
Lucas laughed weakly. "You're really insistent on me being good at this, Mel. Any particular reason?"
Melissa looked over to him, shrugging a little. "No, not really… I guess I just want you to be happy."
Lucas smiled gently at Melissa. "I'm plenty happy, Mel… even if I'm not very good at this, we're spending time together, and that's what matters to me."
Melissa sighed softly, nodding a little. "Right… I just, I dunno. If you're really happy, then I'm happy."
"I love you, Mel~" Lucas kissed Melissa's cheek again as he clung to the wall. "I'm perfectly alright."
Melissa gave a soft smile, kissing him in return. "I love you, too~" She hummed, leaning over to nose his cheek.
"Ready to keep going?" Lucas asked as he tightened his grip on Melissa's hand.
Melissa nodded, giving a soft smile as she pushed off the wall. "As long as you are."
Lucas nodded as well and carefully followed Melissa, still moving pretty slowly on the ice.
Melissa looked back at him, giving him a soft smile. "You alright?"
Lucas nodded again as he continued on, biting his lip when his balance briefly wavered.
Melissa watched him with a subtle smile, holding on tightly. “I got you, don’t stress so much.” She whispered, pulling his hand up and gently kissing it.
Lucas smiled weakly up at Melissa and held tighter to her hand. "Thanks, Mel…" He kept going, keeping as close to Melissa as he felt safe to be.
"Mm, of course, Lu." Melissa hummed, glancing back over her shoulder as they skated along. "Y'know, it'd be pretty cool to be a figure-skater… pun not intended."
Lucas shrugged a bit. "Well, I dunno… I'm sure you'd be better at it than I would. You'd also look better in the costumes."
Melissa felt her face flare up quite a bit, looking over to him. "I- um… thanks?" She replied in a soft tone, biting on her lower lip.
Lucas looked over at Melissa curiously. "What? You know you would. I doubt I'd look good in that kinda thing."
Melissa looked over to him, her face still rather red. She only shrugged some as they continued along, forcing up a weak smile.
Lucas kissed Melissa's cheek softly. "I like how you look in my hoodies more, though."
"Luuuu…." Melissa whined, turning her face away from him. "Stoppppp…"
Lucas grinned and snickered a bit. "Whaaaat~? You do!" He insisted. "I think you look cute."
Butterflies built up in Melissa's stomach the more he spoke, her face flushing further. "No I dooooon't," She insisted, whining more.
"Oooh~" Lucas kissed Melissa again. "Who's the flustered one now? Who knew that all it took was letting you wear my hoodies?"
Melissa groaned, growing somewhat wobbly as he teased her. "Please, stop…" She mumbled, looking back over to him.
"Are you legitimately uncomfortable with it?" Lucas asked. "Because I'll stop if so. If not, then this is just revenge for all the times you tease me~"
"I, um…" Melissa glanced down at her feet. "K-Kind of… you don't have to stop, though. I-It's only fair."
"No, Mel. If you're uncomfortable, I'll stop. I'm not a dick, you know." Lucas slowed down again to pull Melissa over to the wall.
