Melissa glanced up at him, kissing him softly once more. "I mean, I don't know how great of a teacher I would be, but I could try to show you."
Melissa glanced up at him, kissing him softly once more. "I mean, I don't know how great of a teacher I would be, but I could try to show you."
Lucas laughed softly. "Don't worry about it too much, Mel. You just have fun playing. I don't need to know."
"You sure? I really don't mind." Melissa insisted, sipping from the mug he had given her.
"Nah, it's just one more thing to try and remember for me." Lucas laughed. "I've got baseball and drawing and that's good enough for me."
"Mm, alright. If you're sure." Melissa hummed softly, still smiling gently. "I've missed you so much…"
"I missed you too, Mel…" Lucas kissed Melissa's cheek and huddled a little closer to her. "It's good to be back."
"It's good to have you back." She whispered, curling up even closer. "That was awful… you need to not do that ever again."
"Well, I'm gonna try my best not to, Mel." Lucas wrapped one arm around Melissa. "I've got meds and Cody and you, so I should be alright."
"Let's hope it's enough this time." Melissa sighed weakly, leaning up against him carefully. "I love you, a lot…"
"Hopefully… I love you too, Mel." Lucas sighed softly as well and held Melissa closer.
Melissa kept quiet after that, sipping her hot cocoa with a soft look. She stayed close to him, blanket still draped over her shoulders. "Are you cold? I can share with you, if you want."
"I'm alright. I've got my hot chocolate." Lucas held up his half empty mug and took another sip. "Wanna go sit in front of the fireplace?"
"Mm, sure." Melissa hummed, starting to get up. "It kinda feels like Christmas all over again… this time, better."
"Mhmm! Your birthday's real soon, so that can be our second Christmas, yeah?" Lucas led Melissa over to the fireplace and turned it on.
Laughing softly, Melissa dropped to the floor. "Mmm, yeah. Sounds like a good plan…" She hummed a little with a sigh.
Lucas sat beside Melissa once the fireplace was on and sighed happily. "Mhmm. One of my few good ones, yeah?"
Melissa laughed softly, rolling her eyes. "You typically have good ideas, Lucas. Don't belittle yourself like that."
Lucas kissed Melissa's cheek softly. "Yeah, yeah… whatever you say, Mel." He snickered a bit.
"Come on, I mean ittt…" Melissa whispered, nosing against his cheek with a little smile. She softly kissed his cheek with a soft sigh.
"I knowwww." Lucas happily returned the kiss and hugged Melissa tightly, grinning. "I love you~"
"I love you, too~" Melissa purred some, leaning up against him with a soft sigh.
Lucas closed his eyes and relaxed in front of the fire, soon finishing his hot chocolate. "Mm…"
Melissa also finished her cocoa, looking up at him with a soft smile. "This is nice…" She mumbled, setting the mug aside.
"Mhmm~" Lucas kept his eyes closed as he nuzzled against Melissa, smiling contentedly.
With a light smile, she returned the nuzzles before pecking his cheek. "Mmm, I love you~"
"Love you too, Mel…" Lucas returned the kiss and wrapped himself around Melissa. "It's been a long day, huh?"
"Mmm, kinda, yeah." Melissa smiled softly, scooting closer to him. "But it's not even that late. We've still got awhile until sunset."
"Yeah… we'll still have to have dinner, won't we?" Lucas smiled gently as Melissa moved closer.
“Oh- um, right.” Melissa nodded some, nuzzling up close to him. “Maybe we could watch a movie, later tonight?”
"Sure, if you want to. Got anything in mind?" Lucas asked curiously.
