She listened to him, wondering if there was any particular song he was humming or if he was just making it up.

He closed his eyes, still humming.

She stayed quiet and kept listening.

He kept humming, holding her close.

She blushed faintly at the hold but relaxed in his arms.

He looked down at her with a soft smile, still humming quietly.

She looked up and smiled back at him.

He kissed her cheek.

She blushed and kissed his cheek in return.

He hummed for just a moment, looking over at her.

She looked up at him and smiled softly.

He smiled back, holding her close.

She nuzzled against him.

He hummed faintly, looking down at her.

She met his gaze sweetly.

He smiled at her.

She smiled back and reached up, gently kissing his lips.

He kissed her back.

She hummed softly, closing her eyes happily.

He held onto her, gentle.

She smiled softly and nuzzled into his embrace.

He smiled down at her.

She sighed softly, resting her head against his chest and listening to his heartbeat.

He hummed a little, eyes closed.

As the two continued to cuddle, Sophie was slowly limping her way back to the apartment as she held her arm firmly against her side. Just gotta make it home, convince Jade, and get in a nice hot bath… For a couple hours. she winced to herself.

Killian kept holding onto Jade, still humming.

Sophie struggled with the lock for a moment before she finally got the door open, as she bit back a grimace. ”Hey, Jade. Now I know I said I wouldn't be back till later but…” she started to explain, not noticing the situation for a minute. ”Oh, sorry.”

Jade sat up in surprise not only at Sophie suddenly returning but also at what she was wearing. Instead of her usual showy outfits, Sophie was wearing a pair of baggy sweatpants and a large pullover hoodie.

Killian let go of Jade, looking up when Sophie came in. He didn't speak, merely cocked his head a little bit.

”Sophie… What happened?” Jade asked in worry, her mind already starting to come up with scenarios that would cause this.

”Calm down.” Sophie said, a little exasperated as she tried to keep her arm still. ”First of all, I'm sorry for walking in on… you both.” she gave a small smile at Killian as a greeting.

Killian returned the smile. "It's fine." He replied, waving off the apology.
