"No, I haven't."
"No, I haven't."
She nodded a little as she stood on the gaming platform. “That’s ok. Neither have I really.” she admitted. “But I know how to play this.”
He laughed. "Well, so long as one of us does."
“It’s easy… in principle, at least. And I've heard it helps to have a good sense of rhythm.” she assured him with a small laugh. “We can do an easy one.”
He laughed again. "Mm, alright."
She smiled as she browsed through the selection to the easier songs. “Let me know if you see a song you like.”
He nodded, looking over her shoulder quietly.
She glanced over at him and continued flipping through the song choices.
He kept watching, quiet.
“See anything yet?” she asked, smiling at him.
He shook his head a little. "Not yet."
She hummed softly and went back to scrolling through the limited selection of songs. Since it was an arcade game, there were at least a few from different genres of music… but still not as many as if someone owned the game.
He kept watching quietly.
She glanced at him again, raising a brow slightly at the… slow decision making process he seemed to be going through.
He had been waiting for her to make a suggestion, to be honest. He eventually pointed one out.
Jade had noticed a few songs that she liked or thought would have been fun, but since she had picked the last few games she had wanted him to pick something too. She smiled at his choice and selected it.
He kissed her cheek softly.
She smiled back softly, blushing at the kiss. “Ready?”
"If you are."
She nods and turns to look at the screen. “You just have to step on the correct arrow when the symbol reaches the outline at the top of the screen.” she took him, informing him how to play.
He nodded. "Mm, okay. We'll see how this goes, I guess."
She nodded, smiling at him as the music started and the figures on the screen started dancing. But she still waited for the arrows.
(Happy Birthday, Ice!)
(thank you!)
He waited as well, frowning just a little.
(Hope you had a great birthday day!)
She smiled, humming along with the music as she followed the games rules and danced on the lit tiles.
(I did, thank you!)
He did his best, cursing faintly each time he got it wrong.
(Glad to hear it!)
She simply furrowed her brow when she misstepped but she still enjoyed the game… Though it was a little frustrating as well.
He did his best, sighing and mumbling curses.
She bit her lip slightly as she missed another step but it just made her more focused.
He kept his eyes on the screen, but kept glancing down to see the arrows beneath his feet.
