"I know, sweetie. I'm getting it off." Zachary kissed Cas lightly, running his fingers through Cas's hair. He finally got all the water off, letting it evaluate into the air so Cas couldn't feel or see it.
"I've got you…"
Cas whimpered again, keeping his face buried in Zachary's shoulder. "I don't like the water… it's gonna kill me…"
Zachary ran his fingers through Cas's hair, this time a comforting gesture.
"I won't let anything hurt you," he said softly. "I won't let any water kill you again."
"O-Okay…" Cas sniffled a bit and hiccuped quietly. "W-Why would she…? It's… it's none of her business… why does she care?"
"She… She does what she wants to," Zachary explained softly. "She doesn't think she does anything wrong."
"B-But that's… that's just common decency, you know? What does she care? It's just s-stupid… especially since I kept telling her to stop…"
Zachary nodded, kissing Cas's head.
"I'm so sorry…"
"It just… it kinda reminded me of when I got… y-you know… because she was… she took all my clothes off without my permission, even when I was telling her to stop, and… and she was forcing me down so I couldn't get back up…"
Zachary nodded, holding Cas tight to himself. This was absolutely horrible… He kissed Cas's head again gently.
A couple tears rolled down Cas's cheeks and he hiccuped again. He started to tremble like before and clung tighter to Zachary.
Zachary held Cas tight to himself.
"I've got you now… I'm never gonna let someone ta- someone bring you out of my arms, not ever. No one is going to hurt you again."
Cas nodded weakly, gripping Zachary's shirt tightly while he cried. "T-Thank you, Zachary… I don't… I don't wanna…"
"And you won't," Zachary said softly. "Your won't ever, ever." He hid Cas away in his arms, holding his lover close.
Cas nodded again, huddling up against Zachary closely. "I'm… I'm s-sorry…" He whispered weakly.
"Don't be, you don't have to be," Zachary said gently. "You didn't do anything wrong…"
"B-But I am… I'm so clingy that you can't even be alone most of the time, and I'm sorry…" Cas whimpered.
"I don't- don't worry about how much alone time I have. I only want to know that you're safe." Zachary nuzzled Cas gently.
"I love you, and I would never be upset with spending all this time with you."
Cas nodded weakly, rubbing at his teary eyes. "B-But sometimes I just— feel like I'm bothering you…" He hiccuped. "Because… b-because I need you, and I don't think you really need me the same way…"
"I might not need you as you do me, but that doesn't mean I don't at all. I- how would I love without you, dear?" Zachary spoke gently, putting his head next to Cas's and rested against him.
Cas hiccuped a couple more times and huddled closer to Zachary. "But don't you… d-don't you wanna be alone sometimes?"
"I get to be enough as it is. You're more important to me." Zachary gently kissed Cas's head. He wasn't going to let Cas feel like he was unwanted.
Cas buried his face in Zachary's chest while he sobbed quietly, still trembling. "T-Thank you… you're too good for me."
"And I'm never going to stop," Zachary promised gently. "I love you, and I'm always gonna be good to you."
"I love you too, Zachary… so much…" Cas weakly kissed Zachary's jaw and held more tightly to him.
Zachary ran his fingers through Cas's hair, kissing his cheek in turn.
"You're the world to me," he mumbled softly.
"Mmmm… no you~" Cas replied, gently returning the kisses and huddling closer to the other. "You're the best."
Zachary let out a soft breath, smiling softly.
"Nu-uh, Sass," he said softly, kissing Cas again.
Cas giggled a bit and flushed at all the attention. "If I'm allowed to be your world, you should be able to be mine as well."
Zachary blushed faintly.
"O-alright…" He smiled gently.
Cas smiled brightly when Zachary let him win, kissing the other's cheek excitedly. "Thanks, love!"
