She continued to hum softly and let him rest against her.
She continued to hum softly and let him rest against her.
He fell asleep, curled against her shoulder.
She smiled softly when he fell asleep, continuing to hum for a few more minutes.
He stayed still, tired.
She waited until she was sure he was asleep then whispered, ”I love you, Killian.”
He didn't stir, sound asleep.
She smiled a little and leaned back against the couch, keeping an arm around Killian and closed her eyes as well.
He kept sleeping.
She let out a soft sigh and let herself rest… Even though she was unused to being ”the big spoon”.
(timeskip?)
(Sure)
(alright. To when he wakes up?)
(That's fine with me)
(Alright)
Killian woke up after an hour or two, shifting faintly by Jade's side.
Jade had also managed to doze off for an hour herself. But she started to wake up when she felt Killian moving.
Killian kept shifting again, still beginning to wake up.
She blinked a couple times and looked down at him, smiling sleepily. ”Good morning.” she said softly.
He blinked. "'s it morning already?" he asked tiredly.
She shook her head. ”You’ve only been asleep for a couple hours.” she told him, yawning a little after.
"Then…why'd you say good morning?" He questioned.
She shrugged. ”I don't know… It's just what people usually says when someone wakes up.”
He hummed for a moment. "That's because usually people wake up in the morning."
She rolled her eyes. ”Smartass.” she chuckled.
He laughed quietly, wincing faintly as the action jostled his ribs.
She smiled at his laugh before looking at him in concern. ”Do you need some more painkillers?” she offered, though he should probably eat something first…
He shrugged faintly. "I don't know."
”Ok. How about something to eat?”
He nodded a little, sitting up.
She nodded and waited for him to sit up comfortably before standing up. ”Anything in particular you want?” she asked, stretching a little.
He shook his head slightly. "No, not really."
