I feel like sometimes people forget I'm on the ace spectrum lmao
probably because I'm not sex repulsed and not entirely asexual, and also not a virgin

So like, how ace are you, because you're the most into sex person here from what I see. Don't want to be rude but it's sounding that way. Oh well.

Aight, so I actually really loved parts of it? There was a Quidditch match and also a lot of really excellent vendors and cute little shops.
But the actual festival…there was no good traffic control, it took half an hour to get a bus and then a 45 minute wait in a line for a bored looking college student to dangle a plush Sorting Hat 6 inches above my head and go "Gryffindor" :/
"Azkaban" was one volunteer wandering around an empty tennis court
"Wizard's Chess" was a bunch of kids who didn't know how to play chess bumbling around on a board
So it was pretty disappointing in hindsight, especially after going to Star Wars Celebration
Oh yeah, and the guy who organized it apparently was being sketchy about it and now he's facing jail time
iirc he fled and has yet to be found

Apparently he also tried to get some minor HP actors (guy who played Oliver Wood and some other dude) to come to the festival, and then double-crossed with the payment so they dragged him on Twitter and exposed him as a fraud

I'm demisexual. I feel sexually attracted to people once I've gotten to know really well and that I've bonded with. It's also known as gray asexuality, because it's right between sexuality and asexuality. when I'm in an actual relationship, obviously it's with someone I have a bond with and really love, so I may be sexually attracted to that person.

Apparently there's like, actual muggle quidditch teams?
So it was a bunch of adults running around on brooms and tossing balls to each other
The snitch was a gold lump tied to a belt and it looked…..interesting.

I can't speak for Miriam here, but that's not quite what demisexuality is. It's not about who you bang and who you don't- it's about who you're attracted to. I heard someone describe demisexuality as "I'm asexual until I'm not." Demisexuals don't feel sexual attraction until there is a deep relationship. It's not the same as just having standards or practicing abstinence- it's not a choice to avoid sex. Demisexuals just don't feel attraction at all until there's a bond.
