"I don't feel good." He whined.
"I don't feel good." He whined.
”I know.” She chuckled a little. ”Is there anything I can do to help you feel better?”
He shrugged, burrowing deeper into his blanket. "I don't know."
She giggled a little at his antics. “Do you want me to stay?” She asked sincerely.
He nodded a little bit, looking at her sleepily.
”Ok.” she smiled softly. ”Get some rest, Killian. I’ll be here when you wake up.” she promised, kissing his forehead again.
Killian nodded a little again, closing his eyes. "Thank you."
”Any time.” she said, almost whispering as she watched him doze off.
He fell asleep.
She smiled softly and let herself relax, deciding she would clean up the kitchen in a little while.
He kept sleeping, curled up on the couch.
She sighed softly and started humming quietly.
He kept sleeping, shifting around uncomfortably.
She stopped humming, wondering if that was why he was having a hard time sleeping… Or it could just be because of the couch.
He was just having issues because he was sick, not because of her humming.
She made a soft sound as she remembered how restless Sophie was when she was sick. She smiled sympathetically at him and gently stroked his hair out of his face.
He shifted again, still sleeping.
She pulled her hand back and stood up.
He kept sleeping, curled on his side.
She gave him one more smile before heading into the kitchen.
He kept sleeping.
Jade did her best to keep the noise to a minimum as she cleaned.
He rolled over, still sleeping..
She started humming again as she cleaned for a while, only stopping to get herself some water or check on Killian.
Killian kept sleeping. Eventually, he woke up, opening his eyes.
Jade had just walked back into the living room when she noticed that he had woken up. ”Hey.” she said softly with a small smile.
Killian groaned softly, his eyes a muted gray. "Mm."
”Did you sleep alright?” she asked gently as she knelt beside the couch, placing her hand on his forehead to check his temperature.
He shrugged slightly. "I don't know." his forehead was warm to the touch, his cheeks flushed with fever.
She gave a small hum as she pulled her hand back. ”You’re burning up.” she commented gently.
