She smiled softly.

He smiled back.

”I kinda wanna say it again.” she admitted, blushing a little.

"Say…waht?"

She laughed a little. ”That I love you.” she told him. ”But I don't want to annoy you by saying it too much.”

Killian gave a faint smile. "Ah. Right."

Her smile dropped a little at his reaction. She wasn't expecting him to say it back anytime soon but… ”And I don't want to make you uncomfortable with it either.”

He shrugged his shoulders. "Yeah."

She sighed a little and nuzzled against him. ”I’m sorry. I have a big mouth.”

He nodded. "It's…it's fine, Jade."

”I… I don't want to ruin this.” she said, not quite believing him. It didn't seem fine. ”I just… I’ve never had someone I care about like this before.”

Killian nodded again. "Right, yeah, I get that. I…" He shrugged.

“I guess all those dates I spent pushing people away didn't really help me.” she sighed.

He let out a faint laugh. "Hm. Not really. But…I'm sorry."

She chuckled softly at his laugh. ”What are you sorry for?” she asked, looking up at him.

He shrugged slightly. "I…I don't know." He replied softly.

She let out a small soft laugh at that. ”Well, whatever it is, I’m sure it's ok.”

He chuckled softly. "Mm. Alright."

She smiled at him and kissed his cheek.

He smiled back, wrapping his arms close around her.

She hugged his neck.

He smiled, nuzzling her cheek softly.

She smiled at the gesture and kissed him again.
