”Morning, Soph.” Jade almost mumbled as she walked into the kitchen.

”Coffee’s almost ready, sleepy head.” Sophie called from the couch. ”Hey, guess who made the morning news?”

Killian got breakfast, turning on the news to watch all the anchors talking about him.

Jade sighed as she heard the news, not surprised at all that he was already out. ”Soph. Please, it's too early.” she said as she waited for the coffee.

Killian grinned, taking a sip of coffee as he listened to them talk.

”Oh, come on, Jade. You don't want to hear about your super-powered boyfriend?” Sophie teased.

”Hex is not my boyfriend! I don't have a boyfriend!” Jade almost shouted, feeling much more awake now. ”I don't even know the guy!”

Killian crossed his legs, still watching the news.

”Oh, yeah? What about Killian?” Sophie smirked.

Jade froze in surprise. ”What about Killian? He's a good friend.” she said fighting off a blush.

Killian continued to watch the news, eating his breakfast

Sophie sighed. ”You let him drive your bike. You spend all day with him, at least twice. Don't deny it. The first time when he helped with the flat and the second time was after the super fight between Hex and Flame on the news.” she pointed out. ”Anything I’m missing? Or am I right that you like him?”

Jade wanted to deny everything that her roommate was saying… but sticking to the facts she wasn't wrong. She opened her mouth to try to argue but closed it. You don't know the half of what you're missing, Soph. she shook her head. ”That doesn't mean anything.”

Killian stretched his legs, and got out his phone.
Good morning 🌞 did you have a nice night? 😘
He texted Jade, smirking to himself.

Jade jumped a little at her phone going off but made a face somewhere between a smirk and a scowl. You know how my night went XP she sent. You couldn't wait 24 hours?

Killian laughed.
nah. where's the sensation in that?

”Do I get to guess who’s texting you?” Sophie giggled.

”No comment.” Jade muttered. You’re ridiculous.

Killian replied flirtatiously, smirking to himself.

Jade rolled her eyes at his flirting. Why do you have to be so impossible to deal with she almost sent but quickly deleted it and instead sent That glitter still hasn't come out.

Killian laughed.

Jade couldn't help but smirk a little. Yes, I did. But you were surprisingly easy to defeat last night.
