Killian nodded. "Yeah." He replied. He wrapped the gauze around her leg gently, but firmly focusing on what he was doing.
Killian nodded. "Yeah." He replied. He wrapped the gauze around her leg gently, but firmly focusing on what he was doing.
Jade held completely still as he wrapped the piece of gauze around her leg twice before she fastened it in place. ”Thank you.” she smiled a little shyly. ”You have very steady hands.”
Killian smiled. "Mhm. You're welcome." He replied, letting go once she needed him to.
”You’re really a great guy.” Jade smiled as she started to put away some of the medical supplies. ”You've done so much for me already and all I did for you was turn on the sprinklers.”
Killian laughed softly. "Hey, considering I was fighting one of the "good guys" when you did that…" He shrugged slightly.
Jade giggled. ”He needs to learn to cool down more often.” she smiled. ”He’s always been… very eager in his fighting.”
Killian nodded, chuckling. "Yeah, I'll agree with you there." he replied with a smile.
Jade continued to giggle, the tequila finally showing it's effect. ”Help me up?” she smirked, tucking the first aid box under an arm.
Killian smiled, and held out a hand, helping her up.
Jade happily took his hand and stood carefully up, avoiding putting too much weight on the injury. ”Thank you.” she smiled, quickly pecking his cheek before putting the kit away.
Killian blinked at the peck, staring at her for a moment. "Ah…you're welcome." he replied slowly.
Jade laughed a little harder. ”Wow. The way you react, you’d think you've never been kissed before.” she teased.
Killian wrinkled his nose. "Well, I haven't been kissed by a hero, no." he replied with a laugh.
Jade chuckled as she cleaned off the needle and scissors. ”I’m not just a hero, ya know.”
"Weellll…" Killian laughed a little. "If you say so."
”Are you just a villain, Hex?” Jade asked raising a brow somewhere between teasing and challenging.
Killian smirked. "Yes." he replied with a laugh.
Jade blinked in amused confusion. ”Then who’s Killian Blackwood?” she asked not taking his answer seriously.
"I don't know, who is he?" he raised his eyebrows, grinning and chuckling softly.
Jade shrugged. ”A stubborn man who doesn't like talking about himself or his past?” she said though it sounded like a question.
Killian laughed again. "Mm. Close." he replied, smiling a little.
”Really?” Jade asked as she picked up the bottle of tequila. ”Hmm. Well, let's see. He’s also very brave and sweet and a little reckless but pretty handsome too.” she rambled thoughtlessly.
Killian cocked his head slightly, blinking. "Uhm…I think you're drunk." he said gently. "Maybe you should get to bed for a while, okay?"
”Apparently he can’t take a compliment either.” Jade shook her head. ”I'm not that drunk yet. Just a little tipsy.” she explained. ”And I tend to get a loose tongue when that happens. Not surprising. There’s this Latin saying that translates to ”From wine comes truth”.”
Killian wrinkled his nose. "Fine. Thanks, then." he replied with a laugh.
Jade laughed a little more and tapped his shoulder. ”That’s better.” she smiled. ”Maybe I should lay down for a bit, though. Can you help me to the couch? I think I’m a little dizzy.”
Killian nodded. "Yeah. Come on." he replied. He slid an arm under her shoulders to help her up.
Jade smiled as she leaned against Killian, taking the weight off her injured leg. ”Thank you.”
Killian smiled back. "You're welcome." he led her over to the couch, helping her sit down.
Jade sat down and grabbed a pillow from one end of the couch to prop up her leg as she leaned against the arm. ”Seriously, you are such a great guy. You could still be anything.”
