Lysander smiled at her. ”If only I could, Betty, but it's daylight right now and between all of us we only have the two sun rings.” he reminded her. ”I would love to come with you and have a chance to meet your family.”
"then we'll wait till the sun's down, please" she pleaded
”Ok. I’ll go with you.” he smiled brighter as he hugged her.
She wrapped her arms around him resting her cheek against his chest
He smiled at her in relief that he wasn't going to lose her.
"I'm also really hungry I haven't eaten in three days" she said.
Lysander nodded. ”We can go hunting before we go see your family. In the meantime, we should rest. It's been a long night.”
She nodded " carry me?"
He chuckled and swept her off her feet and into his arms. Lysander smiled at her before looking at the others in the room. He ignored Charles for now, not sure what to say to him. ”Henry, if you want you can use the room downstairs for the day. What you do after; I don't care.”
”Thanks, Ly.” Henry said with a small smile. ”Sleep well, Bets.”
She snuggled up in her lovers chest
Henry chuckled at seeing Betty half asleep already. ”Tyler, are you going to stay here, pretty much alone or I could call you a cab?” he offered.
Lysander ignored them and continued to carry Betty to their room.
"you know you don't have to come if you don't want to" Betty said
“Of course, I want to. I already met your brother, Zach, and I know… your… Uh father, I guess.” Lysander trailed off a little. He shook his head to get back on track. ”Besides, I don't want Charles to keep us apart.”
" nothing will ever keep us apart" she said
He smiled at her with adoration as he laid her on the bed before joining her. ”I’m glad to hear that. I won't let that happen either.”
" good because I can't lose you" she said laying her head on him
”You won't lose me.” he promised, kissing her cheek.
" good id turn into dark Betty" sge said
”Well, I’d hate to put you through that.” he chuckled a little, pulling her closer.
She snuggled up to him
He wrapped one arm around her and pulled the covers over them with the other.
"you'll be here when I wake up?" Shw asked.
”Always. As long as you’ll have me.” he smiled sincerely.
She smiled "always" she said
He smiled and leaned down a little to kiss her.
She smiled and kissed him back
”I love you.” he said softly.
" I love you more" she said gently
He chuckled softly and began to close his eyes. ”Get some rest, my darling. I'll be here with you.” he promised, holding her to his chest.
She closed her eyes with a dream like sigh
