Brett walked hand in hand with Izzy back to her apartment. He was still grinning ear to ear, not ever letting it drop.
'She's amazing, And she's yours!' He excited himself at the thought.
He watched her as they walked with a soft gaze. "Thanks for coming down." He said slipping his arm around her shoulder.

(I’m back! Earlier than I thought I would lol)

“No problem. Is was my pleasure” she says wi5 a smile, grabbing his hand and kissing the back of it with a wink.
They reached her apartment and she unlocked it.

A sleek leather jacket over it completed the look.

He smiled. "If I can hold your hand then of course." He teased poking her nose.

She laughed a bit, “and what if not?” She teased

He gave her a playful smile and plopped down on the couch crossing his legs. "I'll sit here and sulk until you get back."

She rolled her eyes, grabbing his hand and pulling him up, lacing her fingers within his.
"Come on silly" she says grabbing the leash

He grinned like a little kid and followed her like a love-sick puppy himself. "You're really pretty you know that?" He said softly.

Her face turned red when he said that. Pretty? Her?
"Th-thank you" she says embarrassed. Nobody ever called her pretty before. Maybe sexy or hot with a "rockin bod" by the creepers at the bar every now and then.
But never actually pretty, or gorgeous or beautiful!

He chuckled a bit and gave her hand a gentle squeeze. "Cute too." He teased kissing the top of her hand.

"You know, i think you're trying to get me flustered. And…if so….youre doing an amazing job." She says putting her hands on her hips, even though she was still holding Bretts hand with hers

He smirked and put his other hand on her other hip. "Is it? I wasn't trying before, but I am for sure now."

"Wait…w-what? That's not what i meant! I mean- agh" she didn't know what to say
"Oh come on you flirt" she says leading him and Nico out if the door

He smiled and put an arm around her shoulders. "Well I guess I can stop." He sighed and held her hand.

"I never told you to stop but alright" she says kissing his cheek.

He was a soft pink, but had a cute look about him. His smile was sort of smug, yet still sweet. "Can I call you pet names?" He asked softly.

"Sure, why not!" She says with a bright smile. Goodness henwas adorable

"Great!" He chirped giving her a gentle squeeze. "Where are we going babe?"

She blushed a little, but tried to ignore it. As long as he didn’t do it too much. Her ex used to call her pet names all of the time so she had a little bit of trauma.
But she just ignored it. She would tell him about her exes later.
“Probably to the park.” She says humming to herself

"Great, which one?" He smiled with a soft look. He gently pet her hand as they made their way outside.

“Island park. The one in the very middle. It’s always been my favorite. The waterfall might be frozen by now.” She says with a smile.
“Though it’s been a warm winter, Well…..compared to usual anyway. It’s the closest one to us anyway”

He nodded. "Sound great to me." He agreed as they stood by her truck. "Want me to drive?"

“Nah, I’m not having you destroy my car as you did yours” She says letting Nico hop in, then she got in the drivers seat.
“By the way, you are planning on getting a new car?”

He gave her a look. "Don't you dare even think of getting me one." He said sliding in the front seat.

"What?! Why not?" She pouted, sticking her bottom lip looking up at him with her big puppy dog eyes

He leaned over and kissed her lips. "Because that is way over 50
Bucks." He joked.

"Well you're worth way over 50 bucks. So its more than worth it" she says kissing him back

He was the one to pout. "I'd feel guilty, I'm not one for charity." He says poking her nose.
