He smiled back and pat her head. "Well you has gots the remotes." He pointed to it/

She handed him the remote “you know how to work Netflix don’t you” she says pushing the braid out of her face

He nodded taking it from her. He searched for their movie, and pushed play letting it start.

She looked up to the screen with a little smile, content by where she was.
But was he enjoying this? How did he feel about this?

He gently rubbed her shoulder and thought about the events of today.
'Izzy kissed me…'
'I kissed her…'
'She got flustered…'
'I did too…'
'She confessed that she had feelings for me…'
'I brushed it off…'
'We left the pizza place…'
'I drove her car….'
'We snuggled some in the car…'
'I purposely held her hand…'
'We're sitting on the couch, watching a movie together…'
'And I'm still unsure how I feel!'
He sighed rubbing his face with his free hand and tried to focus on the movie.

She watched the movie, trying her best to get her mind off him.
How could she have fallen so quickly? And easily?! For Brett? The cute guy who works at a coffee shop. The one she brings everywhere and he got in a crash because of her. The boy who no one was there for except for her.
What was she to him?

He felt his heart thumping against his chest. He just couldn't think straight.
'OK maybe I do like her- a little…' He told himself.
'But does that mean I want to be with her?' He asked himself now. He started gnawing on his lip, his trade mark thing. He was biting hard because he was stressed. 'I mean, she's pretty, and nice, and funny, and cool, and fun, and amazing, and amazing, and just- OH GOSH I'VE FALLEN IN LOVE!' He bit harder on his lip, feeling his cheeks warm, his heart skip a beat, and he just couldn't help himself!

YAY BUTTERFLIESSSSSSS

She let out a soft noise followed by a yawn and she closed her eyes and let herself fall asleep to the sound of Bretts heartbeat.

(IS BACKKKKKKKKK!!!!!! AND YAY BUTTERFLIES!!!!!!!!)

Brett tried to slow his breathing- but she had just fallen asleep- ON HIM! He was in pure panic.
'OK Brett, calm down! It's fine- you're fine- it's only one of the sweetest, prettiest, amazingst girl there is! No problem!' He tried to stay positive.
'OH WHO AM I KIDDING I AM NOT OK!!!!!! She's just- PERFECT!'

She moved around slightly, her head falling in his lap as a thick braid of hair fell over her face, her full, glossed over lips cracked open ever so slightly, small peppermint breaths escaped them with every rise and fall of her chest

He was so screwed.
'SHE'S SO CUTE!!!!!!!' His thoughts screamed through his head. Why now- when he has to spend who knows how long in her apartment!?!?!?!

Brett took a deep breath and shut his eyes to think…but he wasn't able to? All his thoughts went blank and he was breathing at a normal pace. His eyes were heavy, and his limbs went numb. He slowly slipped into a deep sleep…

At around 5 in the morning, it was still dark out and she couldn't see anything.
She looked around to come to Bretts face, close to hers.
"Mm" she closed her eyes against and snuggled closer to him, though accidentally making more movement than she meant to. Hopefully she didn't wake him up

Brett had woken a little while ago, but didn't want to wake Izz. At the stirring from her he smiled and gently rubbed her shoulder, yawning and shifting. "Morning princess~" He cooed rubbing her shoulder.

She looked up at him, her nose touching his. "Did I wake you?" She asked feeling bad about it.

He shook his head. "Nope- I've been up for a little bit." He smiled softly at her, but flushed at their closeness.

She back away a little bit as her face turned red, realizing how close they were. "S-sorry about that" she looked down. She didn't want him to feel too uncomfortable. And she was sure he wanted her to back away.
He didn't like her after all. She assumed he just cuddled with her because he felt bad.

"N-no! I mean- It's fine, really." He said scooting closer to her. "Come back here!"

Her face was a furious red now and she didn't know how to feel, but she came back, though being careful not to make him weirded out and get her face close to his.

"You're warm~" He mumbled with a sweet tone. "And enjoyable to cuddle with."

She looked up but quickly back down so their faces weren't close. Though she secretly wanted them to be.
"R-really?" She says quietly with a little smile

He hummed in response shutting his eyes again. He yawned but looked down at her. "So- are we going to that carnival today?" He asked letting the excited gleam in his eyes.

"Oh, definitely." She says snuggling in closer, enjoying being in his arms.
She actually was one of the bands that were going to be playing at the carnival, which they had every year before Christmas. Why they pick the coldest time of the year, she had no idea. But she was hoping he would figure out that they were playing the bands. Though hers wasn't a band. More a two person duo thing. Which she loved.

He smiled and gave a light squeeze. "Sweet- how long of a drive is it?"

"Only about thirty minutes to.an hour." She shrugged. "You cool with that?" She asks looking up at him. He smelled so nice, she just wanted to stay there in his arms forever.
