He walked to the passenger side and opened the door for her. "M'lady." He said bowing a bit.

She smiled a bit and stepped in, pulling the seatbelt over her chest, not looking at Brett just yet

Brett walked around to the drivers side and slipped in after shutting her door. "So home we go?"

(Sad. But it's fine. She'll force herself to get over it)

She nodded and leaned against the window looking out as the snow started to fall, her eyes looked a bit lighter as the snow reflected off of the window and into her eyes, making a little glimmer on her eyes and even some of her skin

He glanced at her here and there as they drove in silence. "So- uh are you feeling Ok?"

"Yeah… I'm just exhausted" she lied as she looked out of the window

He reached over and grabbed her hand. He pulled it up to the wheel and pet it as they drove.

She looked back up at him then at their hands. "Don't wreck my truck you got it" she says with a little chuckle, trying to lighten the mood

He smiled and winked at her. "Wouldn't dream of it." He said petting her hand in his.

"Good" she gripped his hand and smiled a little bit, leaning on his shoulder.

He would've snuggled with her- but he was driving. He smiled and hummed along to the radio watching the road.

Once they arrived the vehicle parked, she stayed still on his shoulder with her eyes closed. She was tired, but she wasn't going to go to sleep.

He shut off the car and leaned his headband on hers. He gently lay there, rubbing her hand with his thumb. All was quiet. All was peaceful.

"I'm sorry im a mess." She mumbled through the silence. She never liked silence. It made her feel sad

He smiled and breathed softly. "You're fine Izzy, I'm sorry I'm so all over the place." He mumbled:

"How're you all over the place?" She looked up at him with her big eyes

He laughed. "See- I don't no even know! That's how screwed up I am." He smiled shutting his eyes.

She giggled a little, snuggling in closed to him. “It’s okay if you don’t love me. I can accept it. Just be yourself. I don’t want to make things awkward or weird with you” she says as her free hand traced the lines and wrinkles on his shirt down his chest softly with her finger

He slightly shuddered at the feeling, but relaxed after a second. "I feel bad- I'm not even sure how I feel Izzy. I just- am lost I guess." He sighed opening his eyes. He smiled and let go of her hand quickly getting out of the car and running around to her side. "We can snuggle inside- come on!" He grinned.

Her eyes widened as he quickly got up and her heart sank like an anchor when he got out, though quickly floated back up in the waves when he said what he did.
She laughed a little and got out. Snow landing on her face And in her hair as she looked up To the sky with a little smile.
“Alright” she giggled, little snowflakes spotted her face like freckles and rested on her long eyelashes when she looked at him

He was grinning as the gentle snow fell on him, as he reached out to grab Izzy's hand. "Let's hurry then!" He laughed pulling her along.

She followed him inside and once they reached her apartment she unlocked it and they went in. Nico was fast asleep on the rug underneath the coffee table, as it was always his favorite spot, and all of the lights were off except for the tiny lamp that was actually almost burnt out, giving a little bit of light to the room.
It gave if a mix between scary, and romantic vibe to the whole room.
But she liked it

He shuffled over to the couch and plopped down, patting the seat next to him. He had kicked his shoes off by the front door, and she'd the light jacket on the chair. "We should watch a Christmas movie."

She sat down next to him after grabbing the remote for the tv and turning it onto Netflix “like what?”

"What's your favorite?" He asked laying an arm on her shoulder:

She blushed a bit but leaned and snuggled into his arms, curling up in a small little ball of joy. “Nightmare before Christmas” she laughed “but I don’t really feel like watching that. Let’s go for something sweeter”

He smiled and rubbed her shoulder soothingly. "Hmm, well there's always Elf or the grinch- or A Christmas Story."

“Oh, we could watch the Christmas story!” She says with a smile, her big eyes beaming up at him as a braid fell in her face
