Jared coughed softly. "Okay. I uhm…didn't mean to…" He shook his head slightly, a laugh leaving his throat. "Sorry."
Jared coughed softly. "Okay. I uhm…didn't mean to…" He shook his head slightly, a laugh leaving his throat. "Sorry."
"It's alright." Victor promises, a small smile on his lips. "There's a desert menu and drinks if you want them." He says, humming thoughtfully.
Jared nodded, and looked at the menu. "Alright." At least he hadn't blushed, he told himself. Although his reaction hadn't really been any better.
He returns his gaze to the menu. He would most likely stay away from drinking, since he was on the job. But he would get a soda. That sounded nice at the moment.
Jared took a deep breath, and kept looking at the menu. He would get what Victor had suggested.
Time skip to them ordering or getting their food?//
(sure)
(Alright.)
(want me to do it, or do you want to?)
(Could you please?)
(yup!)
When the food arrived, Jared thanked the person who brought it, and then cautiously took a bite of his food.
Victor thanked the waitress quietly before digging into his meal. He looked very content like this, a happy little smile one his lips as he ate.
Jared smiled a little. The food was really good. He ate it more now, not speaking, as he wasn't sure what to say.
"How is it?" He asks curiously, tilting his head as he took another bite. "Is it okay?"
Jared dipped his head in a nod. "Yeah, it's really good." he replied with a smile.
He laughed quietly before continuing to eat. "I'm glad you like it."
Jared smiled. "Me too."
(gtg now. Good night)
(Night)
"Mrs. K and her wife sure know how to cook. They're gods of traditional cooking." Victor looked happy now that he was getting some food in.
"Agreed, I think." Jared replied with a shrug. He ate more of his food.
He laughed quietly. "What now?" He asks curiously. "If you want there's some new releases at the theater. Or do you want to go home?" He asks, wondering if the other wanted to go and do something instead of stay at the house.
"Oh, a movie sounds good." Jared replied. "I've caught up with all the Marvel and Star Wars stuff, working on everything else still." He chuckled softly.
He chuckles. "Anything that piques your interest?" He asks as he finishes off his water and sets the glass down.
"Uhm…I don't know." Jared shrugged. "Nothing…no horror movies, and no war movies. That's all."
"I hate horror." Victor sighed. "So unrealistic… not to mention they always do stupid things. And no war movies. You've got it." He smiles a little before leaning back in his chair.
"And uhm…" Jared hesitated, then looked down at the floor. "No torture scenes, either." He added quietly, taking a deep breath.
Victor gently placed his hand on Jared's arm. "There will be no violence. I promise." He says gently. "If you don't want to see a movie, the ice rink is open." He offers as an alternative.
Jared flinched slightly at the touch, and took a deep breath. "I uhm…I can't skate, so that might not be a good idea." He replied with a weak laugh.
Victor laughed quietly, withdrawing his head. "I could teach you, if you'd like. It's rather fun once you get the hang of it."
He nodded slowly. "Alright. I…alright." he repeated, biting his lower lip for a moment, not quite meeting Victor's eyes.
Victor kept his eyes on the other. "Is something wrong?" He asks gently. He was worried about the other, not just because Jared was his employee, but because Victor had a tendency to care about those around him. He had motherly instincts, and he always wanted to make sure people were okay before he left them alone.
