Cain entered the food hall, if what it served could even be called food. His expression was as proud as ever. Call him a narcissist, but Cain knew he was beautiful, so some of the awe filled glances he was receiving were warranted. But the boy wasn't there to be beautiful, he was there for his brother. Scanning the sea of kids, he found Travis at a table with two girls—one of whom he didn't recognise.
With a now neutral, humble expression, he approached his brother. "Sorry to interrupt whatever is going on, but I was asked to let Travis know that Mother and Father won't be home until late tonight." he gave his brother a small smile. "You're stuck with me tonight kiddo."
Travis blushed slightly as their hands touched, looking away. Butterflies came to life in his stomach for a moment. He really hoped Val hadn’t noticed, or he might never hear the end of it. He smiled at Tyler encouragingly, trying to shake it off.
Upon seeing his brother, Travis’s expression changed. His blush faded completely until he was even paler than normal. “Okay, thanks for letting me know, Cain.”
Tyler took the sandwhich and looked at Cain she coulld tell he was trouble, she already hated him and bit her tounge she wanted to use her magic on him so badly.
Cain glanced between Travis and the girl across from him, his eyes widening for a split second when his eyes rested on the girl. This energy.. No way!
"Well, I'll see you at home." he nodded slowly. "Nice to meet you, miss, and good to see you again Valkyrie."
With those words he wandered way from the table, promptly leaving the hall. His mind reeled, filled with the tingling sensation from simply being near that girl. Just who was she? What was she?
Oh My god he knows I should´ve Knocked him out when I had the chance I´m so gonna have to move now she thought worriedly.
Travis sat frozen for a few moments as his brother walked off. He knew from the look in his eyes that Cain had felt Tyler’s energy too. He had to come up with some kind of lie to tell him before tonight, not that Cain would believe it anyway. Finally, Travis relaxed a bit. “Sorry about him, he’s…the worst,” he apologized, shooting a glance in the direction Cain had gone.
Tyler closed her eyes and faked a smile ¨No Problem Siblings ¨ she said.
Travis nodded slowly. “Yeah…” He took a drink of his water.
she slowly took a bite out of her sandwhich feeling awkward.
“So what’s the rest of your schedule like?” Travis asked Tyler, trying to keep the conversation going from where it had been before Cain had interrupted them. He was really not looking forward to spending the night with his brother.
¨Um Free period, Orchestra , Art¨ she said. ¨are you going to be okay with your brother If if you need to you crash at my place¨ she said.
“It’s fine, it’s not the first time,” Travis replied, not wanting to burden her or drag her into his problems. Besides, he could defend himself if worst came to worst. He shrugged in an attempt to be nonchalant.
¨It´s really fine¨ she said ¨Brothers Can Be a Pain¨ she finished.
“Tell me about it,” Travis responded. “But seriously, it’s fine.” If he didn’t go home, he knew that he’d be labeled a coward and would face far worse then if he just sucked it up.
She nodded ¨If you say so¨ she said Taking another bite out of her sandwhich.
Travis nodded before moving on to the apple he’d brought. He took a bite of it, trying to think of something besides either Tyler or that night.
Tyler Squinted her eyes shut she heard a loud screeching noise ¨What In god´s name is that¨ she asked.
Travis raised his eyebrows in confusion. “What? I don’t hear anything?” He looked around. “Are you okay?”

¨You Don´t Hear It? I´ll Be right Back¨ she said wonderring into the hall stumbling a bit from the noise.
Travis glanced at Val. “Do you have any idea what’s going on? I seriously don’t think she’s okay…” He got up to follow her, hoping that everything was alright.
(Oh gosh I missed a ton! Could someone catch me up a bit? And also, my character also goes to this school right.)
(So Tyler has started the new school, shes met Travis and Val, had a brief encounter with Cain, and is now in search of a sound. And yes, your character does go to this school)
Val gave Travis a look when Tyler and Travis blushed but was interrupted by Cain. She fought back the urge to growl at him. She listened to the conversation that they were having until she was caught off guard by a loud piercing screech that caused her to clap her hands over her ears. After she calmed down she answered Travis. "I don't know but that hurt." She said, snapping near her ear to make sure it worked properly. She got up with Travis.
Tyler leaned against a locker. The sound was killing her. Her hands were letting off a Purple aurora once more.
Val cringed at the noise. "God I hate that." She said, trying to block it out.

Zavain had started walking down the hall, then he heard it, a high pitched screeching sound. It came so suddenly it made him fall to his knees. "What the-" Covering his ears didn't help. A few people looked at him when they walked by. Quickly he pulled his hood lower. Using the wall he pushed himself up and looked around to see if he could tell where it's coming from. "Can no one else hear this?" He pushed himself forward and walked down the hall a bit more and took a right. That's when he saw a girl he hadn't seen around. A bit of purple surrounded her and she seemed to be in just as much pain as him. Pulling his hood off he walked over, still covering his ears. "Hello."
