"I won't," he mumbled, pulling his wing back with with a small sigh. "How are your wings doing?"

"They're still kinda sore, but I'm okay." Nathaniel shrugged.

V gently stroked them with his hand. "Turn around, wI ant to see if the wound is doing okay."

Nathaniel nodded and turned so his back was facing V. There was still a rather noticeable nick in his wing, but it seemed to be healing up okay.

V gently touched the area around the wound with a small frown. he trailed the length of the wing before trailing the scar, barely touching it in case it was sensitive. He pressed a kiss to the base of Nathaniel's neck before wrapping his arms around the other's waist.

Nathaniel shivered a little when V touched the wound, but soon relaxed when he was embraced. "I love you…" He murmured.

"I love you too, my angel. I'm sorry this happened," he whispered, resting his head on Nathaniel's shoulder and nuzzling the spot below his ear

"It's okay, love… it isn't your fault." Nathaniel turned his head to gently kiss V's cheek. "I don't blame you."

He sighed softly and leaned into his angel. "But I had some part in it, it should have never happened."

"Well, I can't deny that it shouldn't have happened, but I still don't think it's your fault. I know how to fight; you know I do. I should've fought back."

He smiled sadly and nuzzled his neck and shoulder. He didn't know how to respond so he left the subject alone and focused on Nathaniel

Nathaniel let it go as well, shifting around until he was facing V. He hugged the other tightly, careful not to disturb either of their wings.

He held the other close and stroked his hair "oh my beautiful angel, your too good for this world." He murmered with a smile, affectionately looking at him

"Well, I dunno where you want me to go, considering I clearly wasn't good enough for heaven." Nathaniel sighed, laying his head on V's shoulder.

"a whole other world then. If heaven thinks we're not good enough and Earth is all we got we find somewhere remote where no one will bother us again, not angel and not demon." He said, kissing his head and gently stroking his wings

Nathaniel smiled softly. "That would be nice, love. Maybe we can go to another planet or something, although that isn't too plausible…"

V shrugged "who knows, maybe Mars will be available to live on soon." He laughed and gazed down at Nathaniel "as long as we're together, I don't care where we go."

"Mm… ditto." Nathaniel kissed V sweetly. "I love you, darling. More than anything."

"I love you too, angel." He murmered against his lips, gently tugging at the bottom one with his teeth.

Nathaniel whined softly and kissed V back eagerly, his wings fluttering a bit with his enthusiasm.

V pulled away slightly to press kisses to Nathaniel's neck. He used his free wing to cradle the other to him

Nathaniel lay his head on V's shoulder, seeming quite happy and comfortable.

he glanced down at his angel and smiled lovingly, stroking his hair from his face and pressing a light kiss to his head "you're too cute, you know that right? it should be a sin to be so adorable."

Nathaniel stuck his tongue out a bit, looking up at V from where he was, which made his eyes look even bigger. "Maybe that's why I got kicked out, hmm?"

He chuckled softly and pressed a kiss to the corner of Nathaniel's mouth. "Because if your adorableness? Possibly." He sighed softly "though I doubt it, it's still a better alternative."

"True." Nathaniel tilted his chin up to kiss V back. "I'll let myself believe that's why they took you too, love…" He sighed, laying his head on V's shoulder.

"I got kicked out because they couldn't handle my charming good looks? I like that way better than their original reason." He leaned into Nathaniel

"Mhmm… me too." Nathaniel curled closer to V, sighing again. "I love you…"

"I love you too my angel." He murmered, kissing his lips lightly. "Want to head out into town? Or do you just want to stay here?"

"I'm open for anything, love, but it feels like it's been ages since we went out." He kissed V back. "Maybe we could go to a restaurant or something?"
