V gently took the cup away from Nathaniel and hugged him tight. "oh my angel, what am I going to do with you." V laughed softly and nuzzled into his neck.
Urielle nodded and pressed a kiss to Jarvis' hand "go, we'll be here when you get back." he reassured with a smile.
"I won't be long," Jarvis squeazed the other angel's hand gently before running off to cover the shift
Nathaniel purred again and huddled close to V, grinning. "We gotta buy sugar more often! Makes my blood feel all happy…"
"That's defiantly not gonna happen, especially if you get like this off a few sips of hot chocolate." he kissed his head and glanced up at Urielle with a smile "so, when were you going to tell us about your boyfriend?"
Nathaniel stuck his tongue out again, still trilling softly to himself as V asked the question. He looked up at Urielle as well, nodding in agreement.
Urielle blushed and looked away from the two "uhm, i was hoping to tell you during the wedding but since you needed alterations done and he was begging to see you two again i kinda had no choice but to tell you earlier."
Nathaniel nodded again and lay his head back on V's shoulder. "How long've y'all been dating?" He asked.
V stroked his hair to try and calm him down while he listened to Urielle
"almost five years now, ever since he was permanently sent here to do his job. I happen to be in town on a separate task and we met up here for some lunch and stayed together ever since."
Nathaniel trilled happily when V started petting him, his wings fluttering a bit. "Mmm… why was he down here when we were little?"
V glanced down at him and smiled, resting his head on Nathaniel's while he still petted him.
"He had a task given to him in Japan but he came over when I called to take care of you guys." he explained. "They never found out about it until a few years later when they permanently sent him here, still a soldier of heaven, but never to go back home."
"Mmmm… so… It's kind of our fault that he got permanently banned?" Nathaniel asked softly.
"what? no! no, it's not Nath. If anything it's mine for taking the risk and calling him over." he looked down and shook his head "he never deserved that, though he claims he's happier here instead of up there."
Nathaniel looked down at the floor, still feeling guilty. "I… I know it's better down here and all for the most part, but I still feel bad…"
Urielle reached over and took Nathaniel's hands in his "hey, don't be. He's happier down here. And he gets to help all these other angels just like he helped you two. He doesn't regret anything that's happened. At least I hope he doesn't"
Nathaniel looked up and nodded. He still didn't seem completely convinced, but he felt a little better. "I… alright… can you ask him about it?"
"I will when he comes back." Urielle promised, squeezing his hand and letting go. "Still high on sugar or are you calm yet?"
"Still kinda high…" Nathaniel looked up at Urielle, seeming antsy. His pupils were still dilated and he was trembling slightly. "I don't get much sugar."
"I can see why." Urielle chuckled softly "V, promise me you'll never give him sugar, this poor angel's on the verge of rocketing out of his seat."
"I just wanna run and fly around everywhere but I can't fly." Nathaniel said quickly, looking at his trembling hands.
"My poor angel, remind me to never give you extra sugar again." V laced their hands together to keep Nathaniel's from trembling and pressed a kiss to his neck
"But it feels so niiiiice…" Nathaniel purred, huddling close to V. "Makes me feel all buzzy and happy… I like it."
"Yeah but in a few hours or so you'll be so tired that you'll literally fall asleep standing up so noooo, no more sugar for today." he kissed his head "Unless it's coming from me, no sugar."
Nathaniel huffed indignantly. "I'm already gonna do that and you know it… I just like sleeping. What harm's a little sugar gonna do?"
V sighed softly and poked Nath in the side "you'll get chubby and not in a cute way. and you'll keep shaking like this." he let go of their hands for a moment to show him that he was still shaking
"You calling me fat?" Nathaniel huffed again and took his hands from V to cross his arms. "I still exercise you know. Eating sugar just gives me something to work off."
“No my darling angel I’m not, and I know you exercises.” He pouted softly when Nathaniel took his hands away and nuzzled into his neck “I meant no offense love.”
Nathaniel rolled his eyes and leaned into V again. "Whatever you say, V…" He sighed softly and lay his head on V's shoulder.
V wrapped his arms around him and squeezed him tight.
Urielle glanced over to the door and stood, waving the boys up as an older angel came in and sat at the bar, ordering a drink and glaring around.
Nathaniel looked up at Urielle and stood, following him over to the door. "Are we leaving?" He asked Urielle.
V followed the two and looked over to where Urielle was heading.
He turned back and shook his head "I think she's the one Jarvis was mentioning." he explained, waving to them to wait for a moment as he introduced himself to the lady.
V had forgotten how humbly charming Urielle was, his kind features matched with his voice and a sweet smile were what usually drew people to the angel. It's probably what drew Jarvis to Urielle as well.
Nathaniel bowed politely to greet the woman, though he still held onto V's hand. "It's a pleasure to meet you, ma'am."
