"But I know how to hunt, though!" Snow pressed on hopefully.

He sighed "Still six moons"

Snow huffed, but kept following him anyways. "Two moons isn't that much less than six, right?"

" 4 more moons not much!"He lead her to the nursery.

"What's this place?" Snow asked.
"Aww, hi honey!" Crescentshine purred when she saw Snow. "Hello, Redstar! Who's this?"
"I'm Snow." She answered for herself, curious about the queen, but still cautious.

" The nursery"

"You can stay here with me, Snow." Crescentshine said warmly, encouraging Snow to come join her. "Are you going to change her name, Redstar?"

He shook his head "She'll be snow kit"

"Why?" Snowkit asked. "What's wrong with just Snow?"
"Well, nothing's wrong with it, sweetie." Crescentshine assured her. "That's just how clan names work." Aren't we having an apprentice ceremony today, Redstar?"

He nodded "At sun-high"

Crescentshine nodded in response. "Well, I'll keep an eye on Snowkit. You have a lovely day, Redstar."

He stared off and nodded and put the mouse in the fresh kill pile. Shadekit woke up.

Batpaw had been awake for a while now, waiting for Shadepaw. "You finally up?"

He nodded tiredly.

"They brought in a kitten, by the way. Looks really small, so I can't imagine she's very old." Batpaw hummed, looking out of the den.

Shadepaw nodded while grooming.

"Pretty sure our ceremony or whatever is today."

"Yup"

Dewpaw decided to go out and look for the herbs they needed.
Batpaw yawned and stretched his paws.

Shadepaw went outside.

Batpaw followed him, looking around at the cats currently laying around camp. "What should we do while we wait?"

He shrugged.

"Well, I'm not the only decision maker around here. C'mon."

"Wait?" He looked around " Do you want to see the new kit?"

"Sure, I guess." Batpaw walked off to the nursery and poked his head inside. "Hey, Crescentshine."
"Hello! Have you come to meet Snowkit?" Batpaw nodded.

He followed behind quickly.
