Redstar was pacing in his den trying to figure out who he should make deputy. He didn't want to play favorites and pick his friend, but he wanted to then there was a better option Ducking a more probably better choice, bubbly and less stiff jointed cat.
(But Duckwing can't be deputy if he hasn't had an apprentice oof)

But Ducking,Greycloud and his best friend had to yet to have an apprentice. He sighed didn't know what to do he didn't have any warriors eligible to pick.

Duckwing came back into the camp with a rabbit in his jaws. He tossed it into the fresh kill pile and lay on a rock to sun himself.

A similar looking small black cat stood beside his brother, his tail flicking calmly. "Well, this was your idea, Shade. You going in or what?"
"Wait we could get attacked or something" Shadepaw replied meowing cautiously, .
He rolled his eyes. "If we die, we die. It's not like we've got anything to lose. Besides, we don't exactly look very aggressive."
He sighed, " I guess your right" before walking in.
Bat followed him in casually, seeming far less worried. There was a good bit of confusion among the cats that spotted them.
Shadepaw ducked his head a bit, nervously.
Duckwing looked over at the two, confused. After a moment or two, he approached them. "Er⦠hey? Who are you guys?"
"I'm Shade and this is my brother Bat!" He meowed flicking his tail, when he said his brothers name he gestured towards him. He sat down trying to hide his anxiety by sitting straight up.
Bat nodded, remaining standing for now. "We're interested in joining your clan. We're seven moons old and we've been loners all our lives." Duckwing thought for a moment.
"Come with me. We can ask my leader, okay?" He started walking off and Bat followed him.
Shade followed them. Redstar looked at them once they arrived sat down in front of him, "Whats this Duckwing and who did you bring with you?"
