@Bananapudding

"So, what brings you here?" he asked, folding his hands in front of him.

"I–" he was interrupted by a yawn he had emitted and shook his head. "I'm here to make money, sir. I'm running… running low and I…" he closed his eyes and jolted up. "I need this job."

@Bananapudding

"You need this job?" His emerald eyes bored into his with such intensity that it was enough to wake him. "Tell me, Sorin, why exactly should I hire you? Hm?"

He blinked and stared at him for a moment before it dawned on him. He's only ever met him once through Kyoko and that was well over a year ago. Sorin's jaw tensed as he gripped the arm of the chair. "Daniel." Acidity rolled off his tongue as he said his name.

The air grew tense as the other grew silent and ran a hand through his long, dark curls. "It's sir. That is what you're going to have to call me if you want to keep this job. And yes, I said keep, meaning I don't want to even bother with you. Thank that boy out there that I don't kick you out on the spot." He picked up his mug and took a sip. "Leave before I change my mind."

@Fraust

Cas looked up as Sorin came out and stood. "How did it go, love? Are we gonna work here now?" He asked, trotting over to him.

@Bananapudding

He lowered his head, kissing the top of his as he wrapped his arms around the other. "I'm pretty sure we come back tomorrow to start training and stuff."

@Fraust

Cas nodded cheerfully. "Let's go home! You can sleep now, love." He kissed him before taking his hand and jogging out of the restaurant.

@Bananapudding

He stumbled out of the restaurant, holding tightly to his hand. He scooped up Cas and made sure to hold a steady grip on him before flying back home.

@Fraust

Cas pulled Sorin upstairs into the bedroom once they got home and curled up on the bed. "C'mon, love…" He purred, trying to gently pull Sorin onto the bed as well.

@Fraust

"I love you…" He said softly, still purring as he cuddled with Sorin. "Sleep well…" He closed his eyes and started to doze off as well.

@Bananapudding

A few hours had passed and Sorin still struggled to wake up. He didn't understand why he was so exhausted but he didn't lie there and question it. He got up and went downstairs, first cooking breakfast since they forgot to eat then folded the laundry he had left after he picked up the clothes they discarded on the ground the night before– not before picking up that picture, of course.

Sorin still hadn't looked at it nor considered it yet.

@Fraust

Cas woke up a little while after Sorin and went downstairs. He hugged him from behind with a yawn, glancing down at the picture. "Mm… what's that for, love?"

@Fraust

Cas shoved a forkful of eggs into his mouth, humming contentedly and swinging his legs beneath the chair. "Well, we did the interview already. What's the plan for the rest of the day?"

@Bananapudding

"We could go to that fair if you're feeling better," he got up to get himself a small plate of food then sat back down with him. "Or somewhere else if you'd like."

@Bananapudding

"If they're a bit sore I could always ice them for you," he took a bite of his toast and his eyes scanned the rest of him. "And we'll have to clean that before we go." He jerked his chin to his arm.

@Fraust

"Yeah, I suppose so." Cas finished eating and brought his plate to the sink before proceeding to rip off his bandages.

@Bananapudding

"Cas, no I don't want you to accidentally scratch yourself," he walked over to him and moved his hand away so that he could take them off properly.

@Fraust

Cas rolled his eyes, but let Sorin take off the bandages. The wound was smaller, but the bandage had stuck to it and torn it back open when it was taken off.

@Bananapudding

"Oh God," Sorin threw the bandage away, muttering a 'sorry' as he went up to retrieve the kit. He sat Cas down, examining the wound. He noticed that the small wipes had ran out so he grabbed a bottle of alcohol and some cotton balls to clean it.

@Bananapudding

"I know you do but it's for the best," he dabbed his wound as carefully as he could. "Now, you know what happens when I don't clean this, right?" He grabbed another upon noticing that the blood soaked through the cotton ball.
