"I can tell." Cas hummed, glancing out the window. "What caused her to be like that?"
"I can tell." Cas hummed, glancing out the window. "What caused her to be like that?"
"Kyoko is a very private person so I don't really know the entire story but… her parents didn't exactly die in normal circumstances."
Cas nodded. "Makes sense. Still doesn't really explain her being extremely protective over you, though.."
"It's because she loves me, Cas. She doesn't need another Berenice in my life, but it's kinda hard to convince her that you aren't."
"I suppose so, but I thought it was pretty obvious that I wasn't…"
"That's true, but then again, Nekos aren't exactly the most trustworthy creatures over there."
Cas shrugged. "Maybe not, but I think I'm pretty trustworthy."
He grinned and nodded. "Yes, you sure are. But don't mind what she thinks."
"I won't." Cas kissed him, smiling softly.
"Good," he mumbled against his lips before kissing him again, his hands brushing his cheek.
"I hope you think you can trust me, hmm?"
He grinned. "Yeah… I trust you, Cas. Why wouldn't I?"
"Well, none of your friends seem to like or trust me." Cas kissed his cheek, smiling softly.
"Well Kyoko is wrong to do so. She'll definitely come around though."
"I really don't think she wants to encounter me ever again, to be honest."
"You can't be sure…" he planted a small kiss on his cheek. "Maybe she'll realize she was wrong about you."
"Well, you know her better than I do, but do you honestly think she'll do that?"
"Um… probably?" Sorin shook his head. "No, i'm pretty sure she will."
"If you say so, love…" Cas shrugged, laying his head on Sorin's shoulder again.
Sorin looked at him and beamed, brushing the tip of his finger on the side of his face. "You Nekos and your baby faces."
Cas stuck out his tongue a bit again, looking up at Sorin. His eyes were quite large in comparison to his face, which did make him look younger.
"Aww," Sorin lowered his head and brushed his nose against the tip of his. "You are so adorable."
Cas grinned, purring a bit. "I'm glad you think so, love." He turned his ears back and nuzzled against Sorin's cheek.
Sorin leaned toward him slightly to relish the feel. He wrapped his arms around his waist and pulled him onto his lap. "I'm gonna go pick up a few groceries later on so you're welcome to do what you please before we leave."
"Mmm… What do you mean?" He asked softly, pressing his lips to Sorin's neck.
"What I mean is you can play with your cat things, watch some TV, or even study if you'd like."
"Ew… studying. I like cuddling better, but cat things is cool too." Cas shrugged, kissing Sorin again.
"Alright, we'll do just that then," he planted a few small kisses to his face before lying them both down.
"Cool." Cas smiled softly again, nestling himself into the crook of Sorin's arm.
Sorin shifted a bit to face him and to also not be too far on the edge of the couch. He leaned in closer to the other to the point where their noses were touching.
