Charlotte nodded. "I couldn't tell. You must be a good actor."
Charlotte nodded. "I couldn't tell. You must be a good actor."
He shrugged. "Yeah." He replied, sighing softly. "I guess I must be." He gave a soft chuckle.
Charlotte gave a small smile. "It's a good talent."
He chuckled. "Yeah, i guess so." He replied.
Charlotte nodded and looked back up.
He sighed softly. He wasn't quite sure what to say, if anything. He really didn't know, and that irritated him.
Charlotte tapped her finger softly and took a deep breath. Night air had always seemed fresher than air during the day. It felt cleaner.
Quinn sighed, closing his eyes for a moment. He shook his head slightly.
Charlotte glanced over at him. "Are you alright?" She asked uncertainly.
He looked at her, opening his eyes. "Hm? Oh. Yeah. I'm fine."
Charlotte stared at him for a moment before looking back up. "If you say so."
He nodded, and looked up at the sky with a soft sigh. "Would you like me to point out other constellations?" He asked softly.
Charlotte shook her head. "That's alright. It's more fun to make them up myself. Like that one, there, that's an angel," Charlotte pointed with a smile.
He smiled, and looked. "Oh, yeah. That's cool." He replied.
Charlotte looked down with a small laugh. "I suppose."
He smiled. "Mmh." He leaned against the windowsill.
"Are - " Charlotte began before stopping. She hesitated for a few moments before continuing. " - Are we allowed to go outside?"
Quinn nodded. "Yeah, I guess. If you want to." He replied, looking at her.
Charlotte nodded and hopped out the window into a nearby tree.
He raised his eyebrows slightly as he watched her. "Don't fall. I don't want to have to get Aster out here to help me carry you back in."
Charlotte looked down uncertainly. "I'll certainly try," she said as she jumped down to the ground.
He nodded, and watched her from the window. "Id join you, but i don't have enough confidence in my athletic abilities." He said with a laugh.
"You could go via the stairs," Charlotte suggested wryly. "Or I could help you."
He chuckled. "I could…and how would you help me?" He asked, raising an eyebrow as he looked down at her.
Charlotte tapped a finger against her temple. "Mystical witch powers, remember?" She called back, resisting the urge to roll her eyes.
"Ohh, right." He chuckled. "Not fair. Everyone else has cool powers, and i just have boring stuff." He said with a laugh.
Charlotte waved him off. "Shut up. You aren't boring. Now do you want help or not?"
He shrugged. "Opinion. And yes please." He looked down at her, a faint smile still on his face.
Charlotte squeezed her eyes shut and slowly lifted Quinn to the ground near her. She opened her eyes, feeling dizzy, and stumbled, nearly falling. "More work than I thought," she mumbled, ripping another strip of fabric off if her skirt to wrap around her arm.
Quinn reached out to steady her. "Thanks. Was I heavier than you bargained for?" He asked softly.
