"Ice that punctured through your skin," he crawled closer to him and held out a hand. "Now let me see it."
"Ice that punctured through your skin," he crawled closer to him and held out a hand. "Now let me see it."
Cas held out his arm with a huff. "I'd understand if it was tree bark or asphalt or some shit, but ice is just hard water."
"Not all ice. That ice that injured you has glycerine and nitrogen peroxide… Now let me see, please."
"You can see it!" Cas rolled his eyes, still holding his arm out.
He mimicked him under his breath and continued blotting down on his wound.
"Don't mock me!" Cas pulled his arm away and crossed it with his other arm. He looked to the side and seemed annoyed.
"I wasn't– I'm sorry," he held the side of his arm and tugged it gently. "Let me finish cleaning it."
Cas resisted, his tail flicking a bit in irritation. He kept his eyes fixed on the dresser.
"Casper, please," Sorin set the wipe on the lid of the box and crossed his arms. "Are you really gonna do this?"
"Don't mock me…" Cas muttered, turning his ears back. "You're making me feel stupid."
"Aww… babe, I didn't mean it like that," he nuzzled the side of his face. "I'm sorry."
Cas closed his eyes and sighed, gripping his upper arms and hunching his shoulders a bit.
"I'm really sorry…" he softly pecked his cheek and brushed his nose against it.
"I… it's okay…" Cas finally answered, relaxing ever so slightly, but keeping his eyes closed.
"You know I wouldn't hurt you intentionally right?"
Cas nodded quietly, curling his tail around himself.
Sorin wrapped his arms around him and pulled him to his chest. "…You know I still have to clean that arm."
"You already did, though…" A bead of blood trickled down Cas's forearm.
"No, not completely…" He quickly opened another wipe and wiped his arm clean, rubbing a bit of cream on it before wrapping it in bandages.
Cas winced, but he allowed Sorin to do it. Once his arm was bound, he curled up on the bed.
He threw away the dirty wiped and put away the box before sitting next to him. "Still sleepy? You sure you don't want anything to eat?"
"I'm not hungry…" He closed his eyes, folding in on himself for warmth.
"Are you… Are you sure? I could fry you some eggs or make you a pancake… maybe some cereal?"
Cas shook his head. "Maybe later… after I wake up."
"Alright," Sorin covered and tucked him into the blanket before crawling in next to him.
He huddled up against Sorin and soon drifted off, his tenseness fading with his consciousness.
He had waited till he fell asleep to get out of bed. He adjusted the pillows to make sure he slept comfortably and bent down to pick up the clothes that were beside their bed.
Cas pulled a pillow close to himself in his sleep and spooned it to fill the space Nick had left.
He jogged down the stairs and tossed them into the laundry basket before heading into the kitchen to prepare food for him and the other.
Cas slept for about an hour with the pillow before he woke up. He seemed confused as to why he was spooning a pillow, but he was more concerned about where Sorin might be. "Sorin?"
