@Bananapudding

No need… He didn't want to say it aloud as though he were granting something amazing– he didn't want to feel responsible for anything that happened to him. He nuzzled his hair and held him.

@Fraust

He leaned into the makeshift ice pack tiredly, not minding the cold much anymore. His ears started to droop as well.

@Bananapudding

Sorin pulled him into his lap, lying down on his back so that he was resting against him. He ran his fingers through his hair, petting him gently.

@Fraust

Cas purred, though his purrs faded with his consciousness. He dozed off again with Sorin's petting, his tail flicking.

@Bananapudding

His petting lasted a while, to which he didn't mind. He enjoyed the feeling of his body pressed up against his– his closeness. He eventually moved him aside, not wanting to doze off as well and figured he could use his time to look for jobs. His rent would only rise higher the longer he waited, the cost for groceries would be too much for him to pay, and Cas's medical bills– Sorin had forgotten to pay them.

@Fraust

Cas snuggled into the blanket, only his head visible. He didn't seem to like that Sorin had left, although he soon adjusted.

@Bananapudding

He brought his laptop downstairs and sat on one of the chairs near the couch. A host seemed like the only thing he was interested to partake in, but despite that, Sorin looked for more jobs– comparing the wage of each and every one of them.

Getting a job wasn't the only problem. He didn't know how Cas would cope with him being away for so long, even with him working as well. Though, keeping him safe was his main concern.

@Fraust

Cas had sprawled out on the couch, seeming comfortable. He mumbled incoherently in his sleep and kicked the blanket away.

@Fraust

Cas didn't react to this, just staying where he was. The tip of his tail dragged on the floor from where it dangled off the couch.

@Bananapudding

"I'm looking for jobs," Sorin rubbed at his eyes as if he could wipe the tiredness from them. He stood up and poured himself a large cup of iced coffee before sitting back down.

@Fraust

Cas had picked up the laptop in the short time Sorin was gone and was scrolling through the list. He couldn't read pretty much any of the words, but the pictures were helpful.

@Bananapudding

He didn't mind it much and moved next to him. Sorin pointed to the host job application for the restaurant they went to. "This might be something I can do."

@Fraust

"I think I'd probably do better emotionally if we worked in the same place, if that's possible." Cas hummed, looking to see if there were other positions open connected to the restaurant.
