Setting his book down on the table and standing up, he sighed and slowly made his way out of the kitchen and up the stairs to all of the rooms. He was one of the nosiest, yet caring people he's known. Though he would NEVER admit that.
Reaching Blakes door, he knocked on it and ran his finger through his hair.
"Do you need any help?"
He says through the door a little louder than before, making sure Blake heard him this time.

Parisa could only lean on the wall, an uncomfortable feeling churning in the pit of her stomach. She was a little confused as to what was going on with everyone, and since she didn't really know them all she could do was watch—much to her annoyance. Just who were these people, and why were they acting so oddly?
"You realise this is a home for mentally unstable children, right?" Silas asked, he thought he had mentioned it to her before, but probably not judging from the slight surprise that emerged on her features.
"But you're not unstable, so why are you–" her sentence trailed off when she looked at the tablecloth and all of her bird napkins. Nothing was straight! With a light sigh, she began to neaten things up, noting that the tablecloth was a little too big for the table. "Can people just hurry up and come to the table, this body needs food."

Em had scurried out of Blake's way when he'd ran out of the room. She felt a little shaken, and decided to wait for the crowds in the dining room and have a moment of peace before… Dinner.
Wrapping her arms tightly around herself, she crossed into the next room.
Someone was there.

"I need my goddamned book!" He exclaimed to himself, rushing over to his bed and finding it under his pillow. He clutched it to his chest and opened it to the first page, the words being the first thing he saw.
Today, you are good. I love you my little Blakey. Love, Papa.
Blake sighed in relief, he was okay, he was good. Papa said so.

Ellie decided that she had waited long enough. Everyone should be at the table by now and if not, then at least a majority. She picked up the untouched cookies and read the note.
”It’s a lie.” It had to be… Even so, it was a sweet lie… She left the note on the bed and headed down to the dining room.

"Okay…..well Im guessing you found it. You should come downstairs."
Min-Hyuk says stepping away from the door as the floorboards squeak beneath his feet. His hands were stuffed in the pockets if his hoodie as he stepped towards the stairs.

"… Can you tell Des I can't?" He asked quietly, he couldn't be around as many people as he was. He needed to write in another entry for an episode. Blake went to go grab his laptop and sent an email to Des, requesting that his service dog could hurry up getting there.

"K."
He simply says walking down the stairs. So much for helping someone. He should probably stick to his usual rude self. He doesn't feel like he has to put on an act around people. People never like his rude self anyway. And it was plenty easy to be an @ss.

Parisa noticed someone by the door, but was a little too nervous to say anything to her. She wasn't sure what her name was, or what she was like.
"You can always switch back you know." Silas sighed, half teasing the girl.
"No, I will make it through the day like this. I'm a strong girl!" Parisa gathered up all her courage to smile, but the words she wanted to say to the girl never came. Perhaps I will wait for others to arrive first.

Sam just sat in her usual spot, leaning back with her arms closed. She stared at a spot on the floor, completely zoned out. It wasn't unusual for something to go wrong at or before dinner, so she wasn't worried. But she was never much help, so she typically did something else to occupy her time when this happened. She had tried to help once, but most of the people here got pretty upset when things weren't just so. Fine by her. She just wished dinner would start. She was starting to get antsy.

@The-Magician group

Parisa's eyes flickered to the girl sat at the table, she hadn't noticed her walk in. "Hello?" she asked a little nervously, her voice sounding off since it wasn't her own.
Quick, Silas, where do you sit?? she asked in her mind, rather panicked, she didn't want to sit in the wrong seat and potentially cause arguments.
"Opposite Sam, that's the girl at the table now. Just go easy okay, you're doing fine." It was always nice to hear words of encouragements from her host.
She gracefully sat down in her seat, smiling a little awkwardly. "Are you okay, Sam?"

@Moxie group

Sam stared at the floor a moment more before someone snapped her out of her reverie. She blinked a few times and sat up looking around. "Oh. Hey Silas. Yeah, yeah I'm good." She sat up more and pushed her hair behind her ear and started playing with the end of it. "Sorry, I just zoned out. You good?"

@The-Magician group

"I'm doing well, thank you." Parisa noticed the girl's nervous movements, and was a little unsure whether or not to believe she was actually okay.
What happened to her?
"That's something she will have to tell you herself, I don't know the full story."
Parisa nodded slightly, tugging at the end of her pendant. "I must say, Sam, your hair looks nice today." A compliment always cheered her up, so perhaps it would cheer others up too?

Min-Hyuk walked into the kitchen walking up to Des.
"Blake says he can't come."
He says quietly, then heads back to his seat, picking up his book and pencil that he left on accident.

@Moxie group

Sam pushed her hand through her hair again, as if to check that it was still there. "Uh, thanks? I mean it's kinda wet still from my shower, but thanks. Nice earrings by the way." 'Hold on a second,' she thought to herself. '"I'm doing well, thank you"? Silas isn't usually that formal.' She didn't interact with anyone in the house a whole lot, but Silas was one of her favorites. They usually ended up in the same circles at school. But this didn't sound like him. And Sam dwas fairly sure he didn't usually wear jewelry. "Are you–" she gestured vaguely with her hand, not wanting to offend him. "–Not Silas?"

@The-Magician group

"Caught me." Parisa winked, smiling brightly. "I'm guessing my formality and jewelry gave it away. That usually is the point, though I would have thought the hoodie would have been what actually gave the game up." she gestured to Silas' on show abdominal with a happy sigh. She fiddled with her earrings, she liked the feel of the metal on her fingers. "And thank you, though I think they would suit you more than me."
"Stop flirting!" Silas groaned, though to be honest he would never have the courage to tell Sam that himself. She did suit ruby earrings, in his opinion.
"Anyway," Parisa waved her hand dismissively, ignoring Silas' comment. "What are your plans for when the meal is over?"

@Moxie group

Sam smiled in amusement. She subconsciously tugged on her earlobes. She didn't even have pierced ears. "I don't know. I was thinking about going to my room but I think I would die of boredom. So maybe basketball outside. Why?" She grinned mischievously and leaned forward on her elbow on the table. "Got any plans?" Sam was a sucker for any kind of rebellion of any form.

Des nodded with an understanding smile. "We'll start, I can just go talk to Blake afterward and bring him some food." They said, sitting down at the head of the table. "Alrighty, kiddos! It's time for dinner!"

Cleo set the final cup and slid into her seat on the other side of Silas. Her meds were kicking in, like a numbness on the sides of her brain. She wasn't sure if she was still smiling, but that didn't matter, she needed to eat or else she was going to get really spacey. "So how is everyone's day going?" Cleo murmured to the table. She picked up her fork, but immediately dropped it as a urge came over her to stab it into Des' neck. She folded her hands in her lap. I'll be better in a moment. Cleo smiled at the table, hoping no one else noticed.

@The-Magician group

"I might have some plans, I'll discuss them with you later if you like." With another wink to Sam, Parisa smiled up at Des as they took their seat. "Wonderful to see you again Des, you're looking well."
"I see you're ignoring the fork clatter, why?" Shade made his way into the conversation, the sight of a fork giving him a hundred different ideas on how to kill every single person in the room. He wouldn't though, Gardenia wouldn't allow that, and that really bugged him.
I'm ignoring it because, if it were me, I wouldn't want people turning their attention to it. Talk about awkward. Parisa's smile faded a little, but it was back again in a flash. She wouldn't let Shade ruin her fun now.

(I'll be back in a moment, I've been called down for dinner. The irony ^-^)

@Moxie group

Sam nodded once and sat back in her chair. She threw her head back dramatically. "Thank god, I'm starving." She looked to the doorway and saw the new girl standing there, looking unsure of herself. Sam wasn't sure whether she should welcome her in or not. She sat there, stewing in worry and indecisiveness when she blurted out, "Hey new girl. You sitting down?" 'That works.'

Ellie had zoned out for a while, mindlessly watching the interactions between everyone else, until someone called out to her. She blinked rapidly refocusing on the new environment. ”Uhh.. Sure.” she said dumbly as she walked towards the table. ”Is there assigned seating or something?” She didn't want to make a bad impression by stealing another person's usual spot.

"예, 우리는 초등학교에 있고 할당 된 좌석은 일이있기 때문에."
Min-Hyuk says with an eyeroll as he flips the page in his sketch book, sketching a dog into the page.
He actually hated dogs, they were way too hyperactive and happy for him. They always gave him really bad anxiety unless they were dead. That was the only way he liked them. Either dead, or sick and dying. That way the only thing they did was lie down and probably wheeze. They didnt even eat. You didnt have to give them any attention until they died. Unless something was really wrong with them and they would eat when they got sick. That was really annoying.
The only attention you had to give sick or dead dogs is when they would stink up your house.
Yeah, he never cared for dogs. EVER

"We all have our own little niche." Cleo supplied helpfully. "You know? We sit where we feel the most comfortable." She gestured to the empty chair diagonal from her with another sunny smile. "We thought you'd like to sit there for now. Until you get acclimated."

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

Oh great. It's that jerk from earlier. I'm sure whatever he said is insulting. Ellie managed a small smile, ignoring the foreign language, as she walked to the empty seat. ”Thanks. My name’s Ellie, by the way.” she placed the cookies on the table beside her plate.

@Celeste_X0X0_ group

"Oh how original"
He says sarastically with yet another eyeroll. It was a pretty name, he did admit, though never aloud.
But hes met about 6 Ellie's in a month before. That name was definetly not original.

(btw i love her name XD Min-Hyuks just a jerkwad)

"I'm Cleo!" The blonde said, her already wide smile growing more sunny by the second. She really looked out of place in the room of sullen teenagers, looking like she walked out of an anime instead of jail. But just under that exterior, Cleo's minds eye was taking stalk of the new girl. Half formed maldaptive thoughts almost invading the rest of her. Violent whispers, going unheard all around her. Thank god I took my meds. She didn't dare reach for the fork. Maybe it was time to talk to Des about upping her prescription again.
