"Shut up Min-Hyuk. She didn't choose her fucking name," Sam said, glaring at the boy. She was waiting for the day he picked a fight with her and punched her first. She would love to pummel him. Just a little bit. And she hated when he spoke Korean. She swore he had some sort of superiority complex over speaking another language. A language that was supposed to be her's too.
Smiling a little at her brightness, then shaking the joy she emitted off of himself, he flipped page after page in his book.
Stopping at her page. Cleos page. The pretty blonde girl that was almost to "bright" for him to handle. She wasnt finished that was for sure. He had only had the lining done. A rough draft if you will. The outline of her hair, which wasnt detailed yet at all and her eyes along with her ears. They weren't done. Her cheeks and her nose and the outline of her jaw was done, though not perfect as he wanted. He started to draw again, looking up at her constantly to see what hes gotten right. He didnt want to do the lips quite yet, but he knew he had to if he was going to finish it. He had drawn her with that pretty smile she had on her face all the time, which was quite annoying to him. Though he had noticed her little tendencies she had. He wrote them down on the back of the page along with their name at the very top. Just like he had done for everyone. Which wasnt much so far. He had just decided two days ago to draw everyone. Which he was actually enjoying quite a bit.
Though looking up when whoever the h*ll this was had spoken. Just smirking and looking back down.
If she touched him, he would rip her limp from limp without a bat of an eye and maybe a little smile while he was at it.
"Good lord, how does he live with you all…" Parisa buried her head in her hands in defeat, sighing heavily. She was beginning to have second thoughts about switching for the entire day, and wasn't sure if she actually liked anyone in the house, apart from Des and Sam of course.
"I can switch with you, I'd love to give them all a piece of my mind for upsetting you." Shade was growing more restless the more he heard everyone else arguing.
"No, I won't let you do that!" She suddenly gasped, not realising she had spoken aloud. For the love of god…
Ellie smiled at Cleo, a little jealous of how happy she seemed. ”Nice to meet you.” Mean Min, huh. Eh, whatever. Better not get on her bad side. She noted thankful to the seemingly short-tempered girl for helping her. ”How does who live with who?” she asked the kid wearing a lot of jewelry. Though Ellie took a slight step back at the apparent burst of schizophrenia. ”Are you ok?”
"I'm just a little confused as to how Silas lives with you all and doesn't feel like he's in the wrong place." Parisa glanced around the occupants of the table, running her fingers through Silas' hair. "You all have different things wrong with you, it must get very confusing from time to time. Now that I think about it, I wonder how Des puts up with you all. It must be very hard on them, you know, with the constant outbursts and whatnot." Silence. Why was she always the one to speak out like that? She turned to the new girl with something of a shy smile. "Forgive me, where are my manners. I'm Parisa. It's a pleasure to meet you Ellie."
"You're doing fine, it's okay, no one will hurt you. I promise." Silas spoke softly, though a little tremor in his voice said he believed otherwise.
(Oh shoot I missed a lot)
Em had been tucked into a seat at the end of the table, watching the conversation silently. No one looked over at her, which was good.
But now everyone was introducing themselves. She bit down on her lip, enough to draw blood, and inhaled deeply.
"Hey, Ellie," she called out to her. "I didn't get a chance to introduce myself earlier." She was tempted to call Min-Hyuk out for interrupting said introduction. She didn't. Her voice was shaky enough as it was. "I'm Em."
Des watched them introduce each other, it was good to get introductions out of the way. They watched all the small outbursts while mentally writing a list. Cleo dropped her fork, might have some intrusive thoughts. I'll see if I can talk about upping her meds a bit and talking to her therapist.
”Wrong with…” Oh great. It's a literal nuthouse. All that’s missing is padded walls and straight jackets. she sighed before trying to smile again. ”Parisa. That's a nice name. Is Silas another kid that lives here?” Ellie wondered wanting to be done with meeting everyone and get the Family Dinner over with. ”I remember you Em. Des introduced us when I first walked in.”
"Thank you, so is Ellie." Parisa glanced away bashfully, tugging at the end of her necklace. "And well.. Silas is another person who lives here. You'll meet him tomorrow I should expect." How was she supposed to explain to someone she didn't know, that she wasn't a real person and only using Silas' body as her own since she was basically in his mind?
"You're starting to panic again, take deep breaths. You're doing fine."
Parisa liked Silas as her host, he was a nice person.
Sam leaned over a little on the table, her shoulders hunched. She started stonily at the table. She looked up quickly to say, “Hey. I’m Sam.” then her gaze went back to the table.
‘Different things wrong with you’ . . .
Realizing that he didn't actually introduce himself, though he wasn't about to. If she had any smarts, she would figure it out herself. He hated introductions anyway. He wasn't stupid either. Anyone could use anything against him, and he was always prepared.
“Hi.” Ellie said to Sam with a shy smile as she finally sat down. Only to jump in surprise at the sound that she swore came from the chair. “What the…” She half muttered picking up the chair pad and examining it. It wasn't easy to find the hidden whoopie cushion inside but eventually, she did. ”Unbelievable. What next; my toothbrush in the toilet? If it's alright with you, Des, I'm going to throw this in the trash.”
Des shook their head in exasperation, standing up. "I really need to talk to Zane about these." They swore, grabbing the whoopie cushion and yeeting it in the trash.
(lmao)
There had been a sizeable dent in the wall now, due to his headbanging. Zane pulled his head away and started to groan loudly before opening his door and slamming it behind him twice for the desired sound. He went down the stairs, avoiding the steps with creaky noises before taking his seat at the dining table.
Looking at the guy who had just came downstairs, he tried really hard to remember his name, but couldn't. He flipped the page, finishing Cleos face and started to draw the kid who had just walked in.
(I would reply, but I replied last…..)
Ellie watched quietly as the other boy sat at the table, unsure if she should wait until he noticed her or if she should make the first introduction to him. The second option made her a bit uncomfortable. Maybe someone else would handle it for her. That would be fine with her, she decided as she fiddled nervously with the sleeves of her hoodie.
(Darnit, that's sad….. TT^TT)
The doorbell rang and Blake rushed down the stairs, not even sparing a glance at the dinner table. He opened the door and was knocked over by a large dog in a service vest.
(Oh my gosh! Knocked over!? Isn't it a service dog?! XD)
Min-Hyuk hearing a loud thud near the front door after the doorbell rang, he decided to get up and see what it was. Mildly disappointed when he just saw Blake with some dog. Oh how he hated dogs.
Blake laughed and pet the dog, getting licked all over. It was his dog from before he was sent to the home and it had just gotten back from the service training. He cooed to the dog in rapid Dutch. "I missed you, Bram."
"얼마나 성가신 ….."
He says to himself as he twirls the pencil in his hand and heads upstairs. It wasn't like he was about to eat anyway.
Des peaked their head through the doorway and smiled, signing some paperwork that handed over Bram to them. "Hey Kiddo, why don't you head to the kitchen and get some food for Bram, alright?" They said, Blake, nodding and walking to the kitchen to grab some dog food.
Ellie looked up when another kid walked with a very big dog following behind him. ”Wow! I didn't know you could have pets. What kind of dog is it?” she had to ask.
"Oh, he's my service dog…" Blake said quietly, moving to stand closer to Bram. "He's a Mastiff." He added on as Bram stayed close to his side.
”He’s huge!” Ellie exclaimed with a rare real smile on her face.
