Aster sighed. "Okay. Fine. I will. But if you need anything, you know where to find me." He told Quinn, and went into his own room with a sigh.

(Wanna tine skip? I'm not sure to when but… eh?)
(sure. Uhhm…we could timeskip to like… the next day maybe?)
(That'd work!)
(alright! Want me to do it, or you?)
(…could you? Sorry XD)
(yup! It's fine!)
The next day…
Aster knocked on Charlotte's door. "Lottie! Breakfast time!" He called.
Quinn was already up. He had had to ask Aster to spend the night with him, as he found it difficult to sleep alone. They hadn't done anything, of course, just slept.
Charlotte hadn't slept at all, and hopped up to answer the door. "Wonderful, finally some food," she enthused, though somewhat tiredly.
Aster chuckled. "Come on. We're all going down to breakfast." He replied, walking to where Quinn and the other guards were waiting.
Quinn looked less tired than he had the day before, and he had recovered the smirking smile and bright eyes.
Charlotte followed, eyes sparkling with excitement. If there was one thing Charlotte could get behind, it was food.
They headed downstairs, and Aster opened the door to a dining area. There was a small buffet selection to choose from.
Charlotte repidly filled her plate and went to sit at a table in the corner. Ah, food. One of the few things that could lift her mood.
Quinn got food, sitting down near her. He ate slowly, as if he didn't really want to.
Aster grabbed some food, sitting by Quinn.
Charlotte inched away from the pair and focused on eating exactly half the food on her plate. The wound on her arm had scabbed over and finally stopped bleeding, which was a pleasant surprise.
The other guards sat nearby, keeping an eye on both her and Quinn.
"Sleep okay?" Aster asked her, looking over.
Quinn was silent.
Charlotte grinned and shook her head. "Not one single wink," she answered brightly.
Aster blinked. "Uhm. Why not?" He asked slowly. "It's really not good for you not to sleep."
"We get it, dad." Quinn grumbled.
Charlotte snickered. "Yes, I know one is supposed to get sleep, but honestly, what kind of person really gets enough? And anyway, I simply couldn't sleep."
"I got enough." Aster muttered, ignoring Quinn. "And why couldn't you sleep? If there was an issue, let me know so i can fix it before or at the next stop."
"You're such a parent," Charlotte muttered. "Just night terrors," she sighed. "Yes, I know, just like a child."
Aster sighed. "Oh. I'm sorry. Anything I can do to help? A lamp for light, uhm…" He shrugged slightly. "Is it because there's no one else in the room?" He glanced at Quinn, then back at her again.
Quinn pressed his lips together.
"Er…" She paused , then shook her head. "No, no, I'm perfectly fine, thank you."
He nodded. "Alright…just let me know if there's anything I can do, okay?" He gave her a small, reassuring smile.
"Right, because you just need to fix everyone." Quinn muttered.
Charlotte gave Aster a brief smile, then looked down at the table. "He's only trying to help, Quinn," she said softly.
Quinn scowled. "Yeah, just like everyone else is "helping"." He stood up, and put his plate away, though he had only barely eaten. "I'm done."
Aster sighed, raking a hand through his blonde hair. "Quinn, please. I'm sorry about…" He trailed off, shaking his head.
(Ugh, autocorrect's screwing with me)
Charlotte took her plate to a nearby waiter and gave Aster an apologetic glance before following to her own room. As soon as she was inside, she ran to the window and plucked leaves from the tree outside, ripping them into hundreds of tiny pieces.
(lol its fine)
Aster sighed. "Everytime I try to help, everything just gets fucked up worse." He muttered under his breath.
"Tell me when we leave." Quinn said, going to his room.
Charlotte changed into a short and pants (black, of course. They were more comfortable than she'd expected) before curling up on the chair in her room and staring at.the wall.
After about ten minutes, Aster knocked on her door. "Time to go." He said. "We make it out of the city today, so we'll be stopping more frequently to look around."
Charlotte slung her bag over her shoulder and left her room, going to stand near the stairs.
