Sorin opened the envelop and sighed heavily. "Bills." They were a few weeks late and they had proceeded to charge him extra. How could I be this negligent? He knew the money he had left in his account was enough to pay for all of them, but not for anything else later on and he certainly couldn't get any more, considering he was using what was left of what Berenice gave to him as an allowance.
He could practically hear her snicker in his head, knowing that he's still somewhat dependent on her even after he's left.
Cas observed Sorin, his hands falling a bit. "We need more money, don't we?" He asked softly.
Sorin nodded, throwing the letter aside before burying his face in his hands. Getting a job was something that he had to do, though, he wasn't too keen on leaving Cas alone.
He set the pancake down and went over to Sorin, sitting in his lap to hug him.
Loving the affection, he wrapped his arms around him and held him tight, nuzzling his neck.
"Is there anything I can do to help get money?" Cas asked, kissing Sorin a few times in different places on his face.
"Cas, you don't need to do anything," he moved a few hairs from his face and kissed his temple. "But thank you."
"But I wanna help… since I'm only fifteen, I don't have a lot of job options, but I can try." Cas murmured, making eye contact with Sorin.
"I don't know…I wouldn't want anything bad happening to you," his thumb softly stroked his cheek.
"You know I can't just stay here if you're off doing things, love. I need some sort of distraction, at least."
He sighed softly and gave him a short kiss on the lips. "Alright…but promise me one thing."
"What is it?" Cas kissed Sorin again, curling his tail around the angel's leg.
"You come home, safe and sound," he traced his thumb on the other's bottom lip.
"I'll try my best." Cas closed his eyes and let Sorin pet him with a soft purr.
"I trust that you will, Cas." his nose brushed the side of his face.
Cas touched his forehead to Sorin's after kissing his cheek. "I love you.."
"I love you more," the tip of his nose touched his.
Cas grinned and buried his face in Sorin's shoulder, hugging him tightly. "We'll get through this. Together."
He smiled, wrapping his arms around him, enjoying the feel of his presence.
"Are we doing anything today?" Cas gently pressed his lips to Sorin's neck.
Sorin blushed lightly. "I was thinking we could go ice skating today. Well, after I do my work-out, of course."
"Sure! Can I work out with you?" Cas asked, still grinning.
"Sure," he pressed his lips against his cheek. "Now, are you gonna finish your pancake or do you want me to throw it away?"
"I'll eat it. Be right back!" Cas hopped off Sorin's lap and shoved the entire pancake in his mouth, coughing a bit. "Ready!" He said in a very muffled voice, coughing again.
Sorin patted his back gently and handed him a glass of orange juice. "Cas, careful. Small bites, you have to take small bites next time."
"Yeah, yeah…" Cas said after drinking the juice. "I may be stupid, but at least I'm not a virgin! Let's go!" He headed off to the basement.
"What does that have to– never mind," he shook his head with a smile on his face and followed him.
(Tfw he's still a fifteen year old boy lmao)
Cas hopped down the stairs and stood in the middle of the room, his hands on his hips.
(XD)
Sorin pointed to the small dumbbells then the treadmill. "You could start with those. But don't hurt yourself," he took of his shirt and set it on the small table behind him, then walked over to the weights.
"Alrighty." Cas picked up the weights. They were only about ten pounds each, so he didn't really have trouble lifting them.
