Sorin didn't bother to hang up when he stormed out of the bathroom, almost ripping the door off it's hinges. He ran down the stairs, his heart dropping down to his stomach at the sight of seeing the large bookshelf on top of Cas.
Sorin didn't bother to hang up when he stormed out of the bathroom, almost ripping the door off it's hinges. He ran down the stairs, his heart dropping down to his stomach at the sight of seeing the large bookshelf on top of Cas.
Cas struggled against its weight, his tail fluffed up in distress. "I-I'm sorry… I… I didn't mean to be rude… I was just w-worried about you, and… and…" He gritted his teeth, trying to free himself.
Sorin sped towards him and yanked the bookcase of of him, causing it to break into pieces and for some books to scatter all over the floor. "No, Cas. No need to explain yourself. What matters right now is that you're alright." He picked him up and ran up the stairs, setting him down gently on the bed.
Cas looked up at Sorin nervously. "You're… y-you're not mad?" He asked, curling in on himself. There were a few bleeding cuts on his back and arms, but he luckily hadn't broken anything.
"No," he scanned his arms and immediately went for the first-aid kit under his bed. Sorin scanned him once more, finding tiny patches of blood on the back of his shirt before he decided to open the small box. "Fuck, Cas how did this happen?"
"I bumped into the bookshelf again and I was sort of in a daze… I didn't react fast enough and it fell on me." He hissed when Sorin started cleaning his wounds with rubbing alcohol.
"I'm sorry, Cas. I know it hurts but I gotta clean it otherwise you might get an infection," he tried being as gentle as he could while cleaning them thoroughly.
Cas curled up tighter, trembling. His tail was still fluffed up in distress and he couldn't relax until Sorin had finished bandaging him.
Sorin finished bandaging him and sighed as he put away the supplies back into the first-aid kit. "Okay, I think…I think you're good to go."
Cas nodded and huddled against Sorin, purring shakily. "I'm sorry…"
"Hey," Sorin sat down next to him. "There's nothing for you to be sorry about. It wasn't your fault."
"But I shouldn't have been listening to you… worried or not, it isn't my business, right?"
"No, it isn't," he licked his lips then sighed. "But i'm not angry with you."
Cas nodded, laying his head against Sorin's chest. "I-I just heard voices from the bathroom, and since you're the only other one here that I know of… I was curious."
"I don't blame you," he hugged him close.
"That's good… I have a feeling I don't want to be on your bad side." Cas kissed Sorin's jaw gently, unable to reach his lips from this position.
Sorin chucked then lowered his head, gently rubbing his nose against his.
Cas purred and kissed Sorin again, curling his tail around the angel's leg.
Sorin put both hands on his cheeks, holding him in place as he kissed him passionately.
Cas turned his ears back and relaxed, letting Sorin have his way with him. He wrapped his arms around Sorin's neck, his soft purrs still audible.
Sorin went from his lips to his cheek and trailed kisses all the way to his ear then his jaw.
"Mm…" Cas's quiet purring continued and he kept his eyes closed, shivering when Sorin reached his neck.
Sorin held onto his waist, mindful of all the small injuries on his arms, as he kissed neck.
Cas giggled quietly, trying to stay still. "C-Careful, love… that tickles…"
He smiled and continued to kiss his neck and eventually, slowly trailed kisses back to his lips.
After a bit, Cas had to pull away to breathe. He buried his face in Sorin's shoulder with a soft sigh. "I love you…"
Blood came rushing to his face all at once, his heart hammering against his chest.
Love.
Sorin didn't know what to say, instead he stood there, silent. He wrapped his arms around him, and tried to think of something to say to him-but the words wouldn't come. It wasn't something he was necessarily ready for, at least not yet.
Not after Berenice.
Cas nuzzled against Sorin's cheek. "Are you okay? D-Did I upset you?"
Sorin shook his head. "N-No," his voice shook a bit but he quickly tried to mask it when he cleared his throat. "You didn't forget that date, did you? Um… you still wanna go?"
Cas seemed skeptical, but didn't push it. "Sure. Where did you want to go, again?"
